Plain but Comfortable Close to Beautiful Beach
The property was plain and on the older side but new kitchen and bathroom provided very good value for money. We loved the location an easy walk to beautiful Callala Beach when we walked and swam every day. Nice upstairs deck to sit out on, lots of birds. Dog friendly. Beds comfortable. We would definitely go back.

Peaceful sounds from the beach and kookaburras
We had another wonderful stay at Sandpiper. We love hanging out on the deck under the big scribbly gum watching a myriad of parrots and other birds feeding on the Christmas bush and other trees in the garden. The house is a short stroll to the beach and our little dog enjoys the space in the backyard as well as rolling in the sand at the beach. Sandpiper is the type of place that is relaxed with space for our family to spread out for some quiet time or come together on the deck. Lots of kitchen equipment to serve up a feast and having a separate shower in the laundry was very helpful when our sandy mob needed a clean off before coming into the house. Thank you for another lovely stay.

Stunning Easter 2021
The property is adequate and clean but could really benefit from a few more kitchen utensils and defintely a dishwasher.

Perfect Getaway
Great spot for a quiet South Coast getaway. Sandpiper is a two level house with plenty of space and amenities. Nicely furnished with a good kitchen. Not much to do in Callala Beach but there is a good coffee spot nearby and you are only about a five minute walk to the beach which is truly magnificent. Ideal for a peaceful little holiday.

Blissful Holiday!
Sandpiper is a wonderful discovery...close to the beach so you can hear the waves, everything you need and a deck under a beautiful gum tree. Sandpiper was thoughtfully equipped (even caps for the champagne bottles!) with quirky decor that gave the place a comfy feel. Great backyard for the dogs and the Coffee and Churros shack 100m away was a bonus.

Very clean, comfortable and good location
The house was very clean, great for our dogs and lots of bedding for two families, with the kids bunking in together downstairs. Short walk to the beach, club for dinner and a short drive to the ferry to Huskisson. We all had a great long weekend, thank you.

Going back in time
We had a wonderful stay at Sandpiper recently and it totally recharged our batteries. Sandpiper has a feel of yesteryear, with its retro style of architecture and décor....but with all the mod cons that make life so easy, such as the modern, well-equipped kitchen, complete with everything you need, whether you want to create a culinary masterpiece or just want to warm something quickly in the microwave. Some of the things we loved about our stay was the proximity to the beach - 5 mins' walk away and going to sleep in the comfy beds,to the sounds of the waves crashing - heavenly ! We will certainly be returning soon !

Very nice place to chill
We had a lovely stay at Sandpiper. The place has a really nice beachy / retro feel, is a short walk to the beach, and I slept really well for the first time in ages. The deck was great place to relax under the trees, and the fact that there are two living areas and TVs (down and up) allowed space and privacy. There was a nice little welcome pack in the fridge which was great after a long drive, and a well equipped kitchen. We will definitely be back. The extra shower in the laundry was a bonus as well. Great value.

Gorgeous holiday house
Absolutely loved our stay at the Sandpiper! It is such a cosy, beach house with a cool retro feel. We loved waking up to the sounds of the wattle birds calling in the scribbly gums around the house and walking a few minutes down to the beach in the mornings.
The kitchen is great with all the amenities needed including a coffee machine! The lovely, big deck was perfect for BBQ's and relaxing after a day of swimming, bush walking, fishing and bird-watching. It is also a great spot to chill out with a glass of wine while watching the sun go down!
We loved the house, the beach and the area and will definitely be back!

Loved it
Sandpiper is a well set-out and centrally located property in Callala Beach. The place was immaculate when we arrived and it had a real beach holiday feel to it.
The shower in the laundry outside was a blessing as it enabled quick showers after a day at the beach. All the expected cooking facilities were there and we had many BBQ,s and dinners on the very large deck.
For the price, it met our expectations, and is definitely worthy of it's 4 stars. If there was a way to choose 4 1/2 I would have.

Another lovely stayhere
Stayed here several times before with friends and family. We always have a good time here. Only a few minutes walk to the beach, and sitting on the verandah under the trees in the sun is a very pleasant way of spending time. A new kitchen, funky decoration and a variety of quiet comfortable spaces makes it very easy to relax . There are books, games and videos if the weather is inclement and there are lots of things to do nearby. We love going to sleep to the sound of the waves. It's a good value and pleasant place to stay and we will be back soon.

Lovely and relaxing
This is a lovely comfortable house from which to enjoy the natural beauty of Jervis Bay. Tastefully decorated, plenty of comfortable furniture and multiple areas to relax in - whether you want to watch telly, have a drink or eat a meal outside watching the local birds. My favourite spot is the deck in the morning sun. The house is only a short walk to the beach or a pleasant drive to Hyams and Huskisson. Wildlife abounds in the area - we saw dolphins, eagles, hermit crabs, rays, pelicans, the list goes on. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!
