About this house rental
Beautiful Périgourdine restored by nature, no neighbors. The house is located at a place called Maine Netherlands after a small paved road without exit. This family home has been fully restored by us. You will be charmed by the decoration, comfort and charm. On the ground floor, very large kitchen / dining room, spacious living room with pellet stove, 1 separate WC, 1 bath with walk-in shower and bath, 2 bedrooms, upstairs 2 bedrooms and a bathroom bathroom with shower and toilet. Everything is made for holidays with family or friends. We accept your pet, the garden is fenced.

The area offers wide range of adventures. Caves, markets, shops, beautiful old villages, stunning scenery. The cottage was well equipped for most of our needs. We do have a few observations.
The standing fans were great with the hot weather but the small fan didn't work making one room without window coverings extra warm. A full length mirror would be a nice addition. The downstairs shower was slow to drain.
Overall it was the trip of a lifetime and we would not hesitate to recommend

The house is a renovated stone farmhouse with a great sheltered porch where we ate many outdoor meals, even during the frequent gentle rain showers. The yard and outbuildings are surrounded by woods and farm fields, where we enjoyed watching the Aquitaine Blond cattle the first week. It's 3K from the village of Le Bugue, where there are great weekly markets, boulangeries, restaurants, and a delightful 1900 theme park and canoe livery. We stayed for a month and one thing I'd do differently is clarify from the start what are the expectations about leaving. We spent our last day cleaning and doing laundry only to learn as we left that our host Carol, who'd been otherwise very responsive, expected to be there when we left, and that all the laundry had to be done by professionals. She told us to ignore the leaving instructions on the refrigerator. That would have been helpful to know from the start. But overall, it was a delightful stay and we highly recommend Chez Felicie.

Le gîte est parfait (équipement complet, qualité de la restauration de la maison, excellente composition des pièces, environnement idéal : calme total, grand terrain). Dommage que l'accueillante semble attacher plus d'importance au caractère lucratif de la gestion du gîte qu'à la qualité des relations humaines.

La maison est belle, fonctionnelle (il ne manque rien !) et d'une propreté remarquable. Le jardin est propice à la détente, calme, paisible. La campagne environnante est superbe : balades à pied ou à vélo ( ça grimpe et ça descend). Le Bugue permet de s'approvisionner (nombreux commerces). La proximité des lieux touristiques est également est également 1 plus.
Cette maison correspondait tout à fait à notre attente. nous la recommandons vivement.

Tout était parfait pour des vacances reposantes. La maison est grande, confortable, décorée avec goût, très bien équipée. La campagne environnante est belle et reposante. L'accueil était chaleureux.

Lors d'un séjour en famille, nous avons particulièrement apprécié cet endroit, son calme, son environnement en pleine nature.
Le lieu est très confortable, bien agencé et très bien équipé.
Nous avons été très bien reçu par la propriétaire, une personne agréable et avenante.

une belle découverte de la région et un séjour formidable dans ce petit Havre de paix. tout est conforme à la description la maison est chaleureuse et très agréable, hyper calme et parfaitement équipée. les hôtes sont disponibles et ultra réactifs (merci encore pour le wifi). nous reviendrons car une semaine ne suffit pas à faire le tour tant la région est riche en découvertes.

Excellent séjour
Accueil très agréable et discret, le gite est fonctionnel confortable et aménagé avec goût. La présence sans nuisances du troupeau de vaches et de leur veau dans un pré à proximité nous a offert chaque jour un joli spectacle .

Maison très bien située pour visiter la plupart des sites du Périgord Noir. En pleine nature. Très beau paysage pour y arriver. La maison est d'une propreté irréprochable et la décoration de très bon goût. Literie impeccable. Tout ce qu'il faut pour la cuisine. Très bon accueil départ et arrivée. Il y a des marchés tous les jours de la semaine autour du Bugue. Jardin bien clôturé pour les enfants ou les toutous. Je recommande vivement. Il faut y revenir !

Quel bonheur ! Quel tranquillité ! Isolé de toute autre habitation, cette magnifique demeure se situe au bout d'un chemin, au sortir d'un bois, comme si elle nous attendait pour nous faire profiter de son histoire et de sa sérénité.
Restaurée avec un goût qui n'a d'égal que la gentillesse des propriétaires, c'est l'endroit idéal pour se ressourcer. Le jardin est clos et donne une vue imprenable sur la campagne alentour.
Chaque étage a sa salle de bain et ses toilettes, ce qui est très appréciable et évite les files d'attente. Les chambres sont spacieuses et la literie est très confortable. Tout l'équipement nécessaire (machine à laver, lave-vaisselle, aspirateur, four, micro-onde, barbecue, ...) sont prévus.
Il ne reste plus qu'à visiter la magnifique région dont les principaux pôles sont à 40 kilomètres maximum.

The house is located about 8 min. away from Le Bugue (by car). The surrounding was very calm, no direct neighbours. We only had cows around us which was nice. We enjoyed to sit outside for dinner and breakfast in the big garden and had a nice look over the fields. We also loved the few old pictures of the farmer family who used to live on this farm all their life. A nice gesture of the owner!

Rundum zufrieden
Wir haben die Zeit in dem schönen Haus sehr genossen. Das Haus ist wunderschön, sauber, sehr ruhig gelegen und mit einem tollen Garten drum herum perfekt für Familien. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich, unkompliziert und zuverlässig.
Die Lage ist perfekt für Ausflüge ins Vézère- und Dordognetal und in Le Bugue gibt es alles, was man braucht (Bäckerei, Markt, Cafés, Restaurants, Supermarkt...).

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison périgourdine superbement rénovée. Les pièces sont vastes et agréables à vivre, avec tous les équipements nécessaires.
Entourée de grandes étendues sauvages, le lieu est très calme, avec toutes les commodités du village à proximité en voiture.
La maison était impeccable.

Excellent séjour
La maison est superbe, agréable à vivre et toujours fraiche. L'environnement est idéal car en pleine nature et très au calme. Nous avons même pu observer des biches à proximité de la maison et nos chiens ont bien profité du grand jardin clos. La maison est aussi idéalement placée pour les visites touristiques dans le Périgord; une semaine ne suffit vraiment pas ! Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances (malgré notre passage aux urgences de Périgueux) et nous tenons particulièrement à en remercier M. et Mme Saint Amand.

Loving LeBugue
The farmhouse near Le Bugue afforded us a wonderful rural setting to enjoy the Perigord. From markets to museums to caves, we had a wonderful exploration of the region. Le Bugue and our farmhouse was a great location to visit the beautiful villages along the Vezere and Dordogne Rivers.

Wunderbare Ruhe in Mitten des Perigord
Wir haben unsere Woche in diesen schönen Ferienhaus sehr genossen. Wir haben uns im Ferienhaus alle sehr wohl gefühlt mit genug Platz für uns alle (7) und für jede Tageszeit ein gemütliches Plätzchen.
Das Ferienhaus war sehr ordentlich und sauber. Die Vermieterin holte unsere Tochter netterweise selbst vom Zug aus Spanien ab, so dass wir ohne Druck in Ruhe aus Deutschland anreisen könnten.
Das Perigord ist eine Gegend voller Geschichte. Wir werden gerne wieder kommen.

Wir hatten eine sehr erholsame Woche. Das Haus ist absolut ruhig gelegen. Sehr sauber und gepflegt. Alle notwendigen und angegebene Dinge sind vorhanden und funktionieren. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war sehr herzlich und nett. Vielen Dank für die schöne Woche, wir haben viel gesehen und uns abends bei Mondenschein und Sternenhimmel erholt.

Charming country house in Perigord
We enjoyed every day of our week stay in this charming renovated farmhouse in Perigord outside Le Bugue. It was comfortable, roomy and nicely decorated. The garden is very large. It was great to have space, privacy and quiet for our group of adults. Would love to return some time!

Excellent séjour en famille dans le Périgord Noir
Avec 4 enfants, peu de gîtes sont adaptés à nos besoins et pourtant le gîte de St Amand a comblé toutes nos envies : accueil chaleureux, beaucoup d’espace dans la maison et une deco intérieure de goût. Bref un séjour réussi dans un gîte parfaitement adapté et au calme le plus total !

La maison est à 2km700 du Bugue, ou on peut faire les courses (Intermarché) , nous sommes restés 2 semaines (Toussaint), 1ère semaine ensoleillée et avons profité pleinement de l'extérieur (repas et farniente), terrain assez grand pour des jeux de raquettes, ballon, notre chien à apprécié aussi le jardin bien clos. Très calme située en bout de route, entourée de bois et de pré, ayant pour voisines des vaches et leur veau, compagnie bien sympathique. Cette ancienne ferme est accueillante, bien rénovée et agencée dans la modernité mais elle a gardé son caractère d'antan (poutres, souillarde) et anciennes étables, l'accueil de la propriétaire est cordial et reste à notre service si besoin, merci pour cet agréable séjour
