About this villa rental
Ideally built in the residential district of Tourettes-sur-Loup, a medieval village located 20 min away from the Nice airport. The villa is recent (2010) and fits into a land with natural stone terraces in the middle of garden planted with hundred year-old olive trees, citrus and palm trees. Its panoramic view is exceptional and overhangs the whole coast from Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat to Esterel without forgetting the village of Tourettes-sur-Loup. Its comfort spreads on 200 m² in 6 sleeping arrangements and 3 parental suite type bedrooms with their own bathroom and terrace of 15 m². It has 2 living rooms, one for reception and the other one for leisure activities, one indoor dining room and an outdoor one, a full equipped kitchen. The villa is South-East/South-West orientated; all the rooms have a panoramic view. It opens on a 100 m² sunny terrace all day long and on its infinity pool in which the view merges with the sea. All the indoor and outdoor floors are in marble from Palestine. Indoor cobbled wall. The bathrooms are equipped with walk-in showers and one has a balneo-therapy and chromo-therapy tub. All the door frames are in solid oak wood of France and the bathroom and kitchen furniture is in oak or massif teak. Fitted spotlights throughout the villa. There is automatic floor heating. The contemporary kitchen has 2 ovens, induction hobs, glass hood, a large refrigerator/freezer and opens on the indoor and outdoor dining areas. There is automatic watering for the garden, electric shutters and automatic entrance gate with entry phone. There is a telephone in all the rooms and Internet. Safe room. Two bedrooms have an electric bed of 160 and another one has 2 beds of 80 that could be arranged in one of 160..

The location of the villa allows you to enjoy during summer, of the sun and sea and in winter of ski resorts of Gréolière-les-Neige (45 min), Isola 2000 (1h30), Valberg and Auron. It is ideally located between the sea and the mountain with all the possible sport activities around: water sports, hiking, paragliding, ski, tennis, golf, rafting, etc. All the leisure activities in one and same place!!

We immensely enjoyed our stay at this villa. The view is breathtaking, the house itself is wonderful and warm and has everything you need. You do need to be award that the road to the house is very steep and slippery when it rains. You need to be a (very) experienced driver and/or drive a suitable care to tackle it without problems.

The villa is in a fantastic location with excellent views down towards Nice and the Med. The pool was a lovely place to relax and Tourettes-sur-Loup just a short distance down the hill. The villa was very clean and well equipped and Francois and Catherine were very welcoming and excellent at keeping us informed.

This villa is amazing. It feels like a home. The view is wonderful and the fittings, furniture and equipment are really good.
Positives - the villa is REALLY well equipped - maps, local guides, some games, a very well equipped kitchen. Fridge and freezer with ice maker. Microwave and oven. I loved the fact that previous holidaymakers (or the owners) had left a cupboard of spices and herbs, rice, some bits in the freezer and a couple of onions - meant that we didn't have to buy spices when we only needed a teaspoon. But we did buy some things and leave them for future users.
The beds were very comfy, with additional pillows available. Air conditioning in the upstairs bedrooms.
The pool is excellent. We paid to have the pool heated as Catherine and Francois advised it would be a bit cool at this time of year. Catherine and Francois were great to deal with - very responsive when we had a couple of problems.
Tourettes is a lovely hillside town with a few restaurants and bars. The 'petit creperie' is well worth a visit.
Things to be aware of - the wifi is not great. It works downstairs but not upstairs. Not a problem for us, but if you like to sit in bed looking at your phone, you'll need to use your data allowance. Each bedroom is ensuite but one upstairs is a bath and hand held shower, rather than a walk in shower. The walk up from Tourettes is strenuous. It's about 20 mins but hard work!
Overall a wonderful villa and great hosts. Would highly recommend.

If you are looking for a beautiful and comfortable house conveniently located in a picturesque village- look no further! This villa is well appointed and full of every amenity you may need, equipped with anything you could possibly ask for: dry goods ( salt/ oil/ pasta) , cleaning / washing supplies, pots, silverware - Good for a party of 60! The house is decorated with taste and many personal touches, very comfortable for a family of 6. We were 4 with 2 teen girls.
The pool is beautiful, clean and salt water! The grounds are perfect to relax and lots of space for everyone.
The village is absolutely beautiful- we were not aware it was a medieval village on hill which had restaurants, great bakery and idyllic views!
We made also daily trips to Nice ( 35 mins) Menton, Antibes, even St Tropez but that was far for 1 day.
I highly recommend this beautiful home and would love to return one day!

The communication with the host and the check-in was very easy and very friendly. The villa is very clean and equipped with everything you need during your stay, even more than we expected. 2 sleeping rooms have an aircon. We chose the option to heat the pool and it was worth it. The temperature was around 27 degrees. The view was very unbelievable and we enjoyed our stay for 1 week very much and would come again anytime. Thanks again Francois and Catherine :-)

We got it all: the wonderful views on the coast below, the calm and confort of the house, the swimming pool to relax and enjoy the coolness on hot days. I shoudl also mention the morning walks to the village, to buy bread or shop at the fresh market, or sit at a quiet café, the day-strips to the seaside, or shorter drives nearby, to Vence or along the magnificent Gorges du Loup, and back to the villa for drinks and barbecue by the pool, at sunset.
The owners proved really nice and helpful. We fully enjoyed our stay, and look forward to going back !

Together with my family, relatives and friends we celebrated my 60-year anniversary during June 11-25, 2016 in this fantastic villa. We especially appreciated the design of the villa and how the interior and the pool area was integrated. The villa is perfect for three pairs and the studio worked well for our two kids – now in their early twenties.
Catherine and François have been very helpful, communicative and pleasant to deal with.
The view from the villa is extraordinary. Sure, the hill is a little steep but we didn’t have any problems. We regarded it as good exercise for those we sent out every morning to buy bread in the charming little village Tourettes sur Loup.
We are quite familiar with the Vence area since many years but the combination of the villa and the village became for us an unbeatably concept which we can strongly recommend. We plan to comeback already!

We spent almost two weeks in this amazing villa, and enjoyed it to the fullest every day. We received a fantastic response to Mr. Lippman when we arrived and a review of the villa, which made us feel safe. Pool, garden, views, surroundings- there's nothing to complain about. We took fine walks both towards the mountains and down to the village, Tourrette-sur-loop, a cozy little village that offers both small grocery stores, stroll, nice restaurants and tranquility. Not far away is the slightly larger town of Vence, which offers greater range. The villa offers all the comfort you need, air condition missing, with the hope that it will be installed in future. Regardless, we will gladly return anytime! Mr. Lippman's sister, Catherine met us when we were checking out, and even then we were given a warm reception. My husband, nine year old daughter and I spent a week at this wonderful villa in June of this year. Already familiar with the area, we were looking for somewhere with a modern interior and a heated swimming pool, close to the village. The villa provided all of this and more. You really cannot appreciate the spectacular panoramic views of the coast from photographs. It is breathtaking and we didn't tire of it all week! The infinity pool was a hit with our daughter, ( and us! ) - we opted to have it heated at that time of year.
Others have mentioned the steep drive, but it really is just a couple of 100m which is steep approaching the driveway. We hired an automatic Renault Meganne and had no problem.
The owners, Catherine and Francois were great hosts and explained everything perfectly.
Having been to this area of France for the past 4 years, this is the place we would hope to stay again next year :)

The ultimate place to be when you look for a quiet place with an amazing view over the efficient Riviera cost. The house and views are even better than the pictures on the web site and the owners Catherine and François are very efficient. They have been present for the check in and check out and it is clear that our satisfaction at the villa is their number one priority. They really cared, were very communicative and answered every query quickly and with much useful information.
The views from the large terraces and more over from the infinity swimming pool are breathtaking. We asked for swimming pool heating and it was already at the good temperature when we arrived, that is more than pleasant…
Regarding the amenities and premises, everything is tasteful and the atmosphere created makes you feel privileged. We have appreciate a lot the truly relate between what is announced and what is really on place, and it is much more than what is describe on website. As advised by the owners we loved regular walks to the charming village of Tourrettes where are available bakeries and restaurants etc, also the area has excellent hiking trails.
Simply a really very nice place for holidays success where we will come back surely.

If you are used to the best, this is the place!!Set up in the hills of Provence witha view of Nice and the Mediterranean. A heated pool and all amenities. The driving is a challenge but once mastered it's fine. The tiny village down the hill is wonderfully quaint in the best sense of the word.

The owners, Catherine and Francois were so helpful in ensuring our stay was memorable. The view from the villa was breathtaking and it was truly a little piece of heaven.

Our family of five adults and one small child stayed at the villa for two weeks in June 2012. It was one of the best villa rentals we have taken in 20 years of French holidays. The villa is new and immaculate. Positioned high with wonderful views. The heated pool was very welcoming each day. Internal fittings and decorations are of high quality, the photographs provided are a true representation.
One tip, try not to take a large motor vehicle. Both the local lovely Tourettes village and the drive up into the villa is best approached with a moderate car.
