You will be located at the gates of the spectacular Gorges de l'Ardèche with its famous Pont d'Arc. There are many ways to explore the Gorges. Whether by canoe starting at 500m, from Balazuc or Vallon Pont d'Arc, on foot, by bicycle, or ... .. by car for the less athletic, by the road to the peaks ***, the Gorges de l ' Ardèche will leave you with a wonderful memory.

Summer in Ardèche is also the scene of many free village festivals, where you can practice pétanque competitions, or simply dance to the music of a live orchestra. These festivals are very popular and attract particularly young Ardéchoise, but also young tourists on vacation.
Nearby, you can visit the villages that you should not miss such as Vogüé and Balazuc two villages classified among the most beautiful villages in France), Rochecolombe, Labeaume with its cliffs and the river Beaume, the medieval town of Largentière * * with its medieval reconstructions in summer.
30 minutes from the center of the historic town of Aubenas (with its 12th century castle). You will be ideally located at the gates of the Regional Park of the Monts d'Ardèche, with its superb landscapes, and the southern Ardèche with its prestigious sites whose renown is undeniable, such as the Gorges de l'Ardèche ***, the Chauvet cave ***
In your visit plans, you should not forget the caves of Aven d'Orgnac ***, classified among the most beautiful sites in France (42 kms), or that of La Cocalière ***, one of the three most beautiful caves of France (47 kms) to name only the best known in the region and which are numerous.
The village where Jean Ferrat lived most of his life and where he now rests ... as well as the spa towns of Vals les Bains with its Casino and Neyrac les Bains where spa guests come in large numbers throughout the season.
The Cévennes Ardéchoise are not far either. They smell of rosemary, lavender, and olive trees. You can discover Les Vans, and many typical and unusual villages nearby such as Naves, Thines and Chambonas which are really worth the trip, if you like old stones.
