The condo is situated on the beach, you can enjoy the view also from your deck:) Just a few steps from the beach...The kitchen is fully equipped, you can make yourself at home...very clean as well.

The property was great! Right on the beach, fully stocked, and convenient to everything. The property managers are not very responsive on the app so make sure you call if you have any questions in advance. Once we got there, everything was great. One issue we had was that dogs are not allowed on the beach (it is a county rule). We wished that this had been listed on the property description before we booked.

This condo was a great 3-day stay for us. The back porch doesn't directly face the ocean, but you can see it and you can walk to the beach in basically 1 minute. The staff at Sandpiper were a little unprofessional. We arrived late, so we had to check-in with the front desk the next day. I got a phone call in the morning saying they would call security on us if we didn't check in by 11 am. We knew we should check in and were planning on doing that, but the aggressive tone from Sandpiper was a little strange and off-putting...apart from being totally unnecessary. All in all though, great place to stay utilize Destin's lovely beaches.

This has become our new “go to” when visiting Destin. The community has several pools located throughout the property and easy access to the beach. Our condo was on the beach with great views and better than advertised! The condo was clean and nicely decorated and layout was great.

This condo has a great beach view! All was accurately listed. Safe and quiet area. We brought our small dog and all worked out well. Plenty of room. Comfy beds. Good location. Golf course area was a huge hit with our family too. Hope to stay again soon!!

This was year ten (10) for us at Sandpiper Cove. We honestly can’t think of staying somewhere else. The location is fabulous, private beach and guest are great. We enjoy Ricks Sandbar for lunch and Brenton does an amazing job for beach service. Highly recommend these condos.

The view was amazing. Upon arrival we went directly to the beach without checking the conditions of the room. After a long day at the beach with kids we went to shower and prepare for bed. That’s when we noticed a veterinarian amount of animal hair on couches pull out beds ,pillows,and sheets.my infant daughter is highly allergic to dogs and cats. She immediately started itching and wheezing. I contacted the property aswell as the third party booking agency vrbo, Expedia. No one was willing to help instead they ridiculed me and my family making us explained over and over and send pics. One lady asked would I bring some hair to the office.the air in the unit didn’t work and never got fixed my entire stay . After the terrible weekend the best thing they said they could do is refund a minimal cleaning fee off of a expensive vacation. Run away if you have an issue and your a person of color they will ridicule you.

View was fabulous. It is all about the view. From inside the condo to the outside deck with steps leading to the beach. We did not cook here so i am not sure how well the kitchen was stocked. House was clean and comfortable.

Couldn’t have asked for a better location, especially with a little one. Made it so much easier to pop back and forth to the beach and having the beach service was also a wonderful perk! Condo was in good condition and met our needs. We already want to come back!

This home is lovely and well cared for by it's owners. However the Sandpiper customer service is awful. My family and I stayed there for a week. Everyday at 8am until 5pm there was construction on the unit above us. I wish they would have informed us of this.The front door has a huge gap. We had to put a towel in front of it because you can feel the wind. Again the home is beautiful and it is a great location.

We had a beach view condo with a gorgeous view of the ocean. Sleeping at night with the doors open listening to the ocean waves and feeling the breeze was awesome. Little chilly in March but a wonderful time and the management here went above and beyond to help us (which was especially great since we had my 3 & 5 year old grandchildren with us who were “ready to be there”). We even extended our stay an extra day and that was seamless and easy. The condos are a bit dated but it looks like they are working on them to update them somewhat.

Had a wonderful experience. Clean unit, very well appointed , decorated and spacious. great view of the ocean. Centrally located to groceries, shopping and restaurants. Pet friendly unit, as well! Loved the large porch facing the ocean.
Only negative, was not in this unit, but the painters were working in the building adjacent to ours, so it was a bit noisy. Additionally, the unit above us was being renovated, so there was a lot of thumping and knocking. Not sure if they were installing new floors?? Anyway it would have been nice to know before booking this unit at this time.

I have stayed in Sandpiper Cove many times and this unit is now my favorite. It was clean and very well maintained. I only have one complaint. There was no weather strip on the bottom of the front door, allowing a cold breeze to blast right in. This should be an easy fix and I will ask for this unit again on my next visit.

This was a beautiful place to stay that wasn’t too crowded on the beach. Loved the layout of the condo and the big kitchen was awesome. The only drawback was the lack of comfortable seating and no table and chairs, just bar seating. There was one comfortable sofa but the chairs were not comfortable. Back porch had great chairs and tables that made up for the lack of seating inside. Master bathroom vent fan didn’t work but not a problem. Nice office workspace was handy and appreciated. Love this location and will stay here again!

Great location just could’ve been a little cleaner when we arrived. Also wish the place had come with paper towels or a sponge , salt and pepper and cooking spray. All and all super great time and beautiful views!!!

This was a beautiful rental that was perfect. It had everything we needed, as it was advertised. I loved the fact that we could walk out onto the beach from basically the deck. I was able to sit on the beach all day and my kids were able to go back when they wanted to. I love it! I would recommend it to anyone! I hope to come back!

However, it barely reached 1mbps and there were several times that it was non-existent. For vacation, internet speeds aren’t a deal-breaker, but when your child has to complete schoolwork, it is pretty important. The ugly: Monday morning of our stay, a construction crew showed up to work on the unit above ours- removing and replacing windows and some other stuff, it appeared. When we called the desk, to see if this was going to continue throughout our stay, they were not aware of any work that was supposed to be done. We were finally told that the crew would be done by Tuesday. They were NOT. Every day of our stay there was work- so loud at times that it shook the walls- from 8am til 6pm. To make it so much worse, the workers were throwing the demolition items (entire windows and that sort of thing) from the upper floor down onto the ground by the sidewalk and near our front porch. Nails, trash, cigarette butts, and liquids were tossed over the upper railing and onto our back deck and stairs- several times someone almost stepped on rusty nails going down to the beach. Unfortunately-the office never offered to make any amends (changing our room or some sort of discount) nor did they do anything to make the workers stop this behavior.

Nice
Good location. You can see the beach from the corner of the balcony. It will take you 1 minutes to be on the actual beach. The condo was great but the sheets were not changed. I always bring my own sheets and towels so I used those. Otherwise everything else was nice. Only wish there were screens on the back doors so you can leave them open at night.

Just steps away from the beach. 2 beach chairs included. Comfortable. Lots of kitchen dishes, pots and pans. No seasoning or even salt and pepper so you will need to bring all of that type of stuff if you plan to cook. A bar area to eat at or the island. Stools are hard to sit on.

Not thrilled
Arrived at property after dark. First time in Destin so was not familiar with area to get supplies. The only supply in the condo was toilet paper. No paper towel, no tissues, no coffee filters, etc. Check in process was quite cumbersome. On second day there we had 3-5 contractors on our front porch at a time. At one point our front door was blocked by a ladder. In order to get to the parking lot we had to go out the back slider, across a large sand area and around the building. Voiced my concern to the management company and they informed me they were made aware the evening before that they were starting on our unit. There were many other units that were vacant that still needed to be completed so they could have requested that they do another unit until we vacated two days later. They apologized and issued a 10% refund to us for our inconvenience but would have much rather had an enjoyable experience instead. Condo was clean. View was superb.
