We were allI so impressed with this cottage. The photos don’t do it the justice it deserves. It is so quaint and tastefully decorated. It appears to be freshly painted and was very clean. We were welcomed by the local kangaroos on arrival. It was lovely to see that the cottage has so many amenities included like towels, linen, a fully equiped kitchen and loads of board games - which we had a ball taking advantage of. I would highly recommend anyone to stay and enjoy this beautiful cottage and the grounds it sits upon.

This is the second time we have stayed at this property and we love it! Kangaroos coming through the garden in the mornings, beautiful veranda to have your morning coffee and watch the world go by, lovely warm fire for the cold nights and such a homely cozy feel! Cant wait for more family holidays here!

Had a fantastic time at this property. A very quiet and peaceful location that was still close enough to everything you needed without having to travel more than 15 min to get groceries. There was only 2 downsides the first is that the cooking dishes/ glasses provided weren't as clean as they should have been. We did need to clean a handful of items prior to use as they were still greasy from someone else's use (we don't hold this against the property it was just our experience) The mattress in the studio is also starting to sink into the middle so regardless if you like to sleep in the middle or not you will be. The house it's self is lovely we would all come back and stay again. The outlook from the deck is peaceful and very relaxing our family spent a lot of time on the deck on the couches and chairs provided.

The description of the cottage was misleading in that it is quite a small cottage with limited natural light. The cupboards/drawers were quite grubby. Probably overpriced for what it was and I found the Cape Executive Holiday Property Team very unhelpful and quite aggressive when there was an issue with departure that I had not been aware of

We particularly enjoyed the verandah and the view it afforded of grazing kangaroos and the many birds flying past.

Was a very nice place to stay, great location, very peaceful, everything you needed. Had a hiccup with Keys for check in, but was corrected pretty quickly. Would recommend to others and hope to return ourselves.

Property great but the communication before arriving and during the stay is intimidating as so many rules and agreements above the norm. Enjoyed our stay in the end though lead up stressful.

Beautiful spot and very well appointed for a short stay. Comfortable beds with nice fluffy doonas and pillows. Great having the little studio for the grandparents. Nice to sit on the veranda and take on the bush sounds with the frogs and birdsong. The kids definitely enjoyed the hot tub.

Winter getaway
Excellent property for a mid week stay during the July school holidays. Loved the separate studio, which was perfect for our friends who don't have children! Very well stocked holiday house!

Yallingup wedding getaway
Stayed at the property for a wedding on Sunday, house was so comfortable and location was close to everything but far enough away that you thought you were in your own little world. View from back verandah was so beautiful. Thoroughly recommend this property to anyone who is contemplating staying in Yallingup 😊

A cosy place to stay
We loved this cottage and how cosy we felt. The wood fire was lovely when it was raining. We loved sitting on the verandah with a cup of tea, watching the kids play out in the field. The pillows were a bit too fat/high for my kids heads and my head though, I'd consider offering some fat and thin options perhaps?

We had a great time in a most excellent and comfortable environment. The pictures were all true and the spa terrific. Once we arrived at our holiday home all was perfect. However the person who told me getting the key "was only 5 minutes up the road" was a bit of a fibber! The office to get the key from is 20 minutes away! So there and back is 40 minutes. Then you are expected to do the same again when you finish your stay. So there is one hour and twenty minutes of your holiday gone. Not to mention the fine of $XX per hour if said key is not returned by 10:00 o’clock in the morning. Perhaps not so bad if you go through the town of Dunsborough but we came from the opposite direction. In this day and age, has anyone thought of a lockbox? We would all love to return but this key situation is very off putting. 110% for everything else.

Tranquility at its best
The property was clean, well stocked with the essentials, and the perfect location for us. So close to everything in the area. Peaceful and relaxing, just what we wanted.

Good aspects but also disappointing ones
We stayed at Bottlebrush Cottage in January 2020. It is in a lovely, quiet setting and is very peaceful. It was great to sit on the verandah overlooking the outdoors. We were a bit disappointed with the cleanliness of the house. Some of the fittings and furnishings are a bit old and tired and need replacing, for such a tariff we would have expected better. The check in and check out process is a bit clumsy with people having to pick up and drop off the keys in very busy Dunsborough. A lock box on site would be much better.

Perfection
We had an absolutely fabulous weekend at Bottlebrush, the house was spectacular, very clean and tidy. We absolutely loved the view and our time there. Definitely returning customers. Definitely recommending to our friends and family.

Lovely house.
Our four night stay was everything I'd hoped for. Set among acres of bush, the location is amazing. The house was lovely, it had everything we needed. The rooms were spacious, with heaters in the bedrooms, a fire in the lounge room and the kitchen was fully equipped. There is also dvds, board games and books.
After spending the day exploring what there area has to offer, it was nice to return to the house, light the fire, enjoy a glass of wine while preparing dinner and playing board games. The teens enjoyed playing soccer in the open area and having a spa. Slight hiccup with the sheets that were to be supplied, but that was efficiently sorted after one phone call. I'd definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Yallingup.

Beautiful bush property
Loved our stay with our toddler and newborn. The property had lots of space with a beautiful view. The property was well equipped.
Our main issue was dealing with the property management company. At first when I did the online booking through stayz the booking expired after 24 hours as they did not accept/deny the booking. When I rebooked they finally accepted the booking. They then sent me paperwork to fill out with two days to return the form. I received another email 1.5 hours later saying they hadn't yet received the returned form and my booking was not confirmed until this was returned (despite the previous email saying I had two days to return it and the fact that they had received FULL payment from my credit card). You then have to pick the key up from town and drop the key back by 10am checkout (rather than just leaving the key in a lock box as most places do). This is around a 15 min drive each way.
