Comfortable stay with kind staff.

Spacious room with a comfortable bed and good air conditioning. They also provided unlimited drinking water in the room, which was awesome. Elaine was quick to answer any questions I had over WhatsApp.

The wifi is quite poor and cuts out at times.

A hidden little gem!!

This place is such a gem!!! They are the sweetest people, so happy and helpful during our stay! We loved it here so much and would love to come back one day. The rooms are clean and spacious, easy shuttle to the pier! Location is around a 10/15 minute walk but we rented a bike the whole time so wasn’t an issue! Free water too which is such a bonus.

Super Ausgangspunkt für Touren, sehr gepflegte Unterkunft

Für uns der beste Aufenthalt in drei Wochen Philippinen. Das Personal ist super freundlich und empfiehlt Touren/kümmert sich um Transfers. Die Zimmer sind angenehm groß, mit Wasserspender (Herkunft des Wassers allerdings unklar), Küchenzeile, neuwertiger Klimaanlage, Wasserkocher, Warmwasser in der Dusche. Es gibt auf der Veranda genügend Möglichkeiten, nasse Kleidung aufzuhängen. Die Lage war für uns gut, etwa 10min zu Fuß zum Supermarkt in San Juan. Somit leicht außerhalb der Stadtmitte, aber dafür ruhig. Rollerverleih wird angeboten, Roller war in neuwertigem Zustand. Zum sehr schönen (aber kostenpflichtigen) Strand von Tubod sind es etwa 5-10min mit dem Roller.

Absolut zufrieden. In sechs Tagen haben wir zwei kurze Stromausfälle erlebt, die aber nicht Schuld der Unterkunft sind.

Lovely one night stay :)

Really clean rooms, super friendly staff :) Just up the road from the centre of San Juan - not too much going on there but only about 15/20 mins walk to a lot more restaurants and bars

Elaine and her team are very nice and friendly. Easy to chat to and will help with questions. We had a very spacious room with a small kitchenette and drinking water dispenser. The location is quiet (though up a hill if you're walking from town). Air-con was noisy but worked well. The island is prone to power outages so we couldn't always use the air-con. Wifi worked well in the room. At the back, there is an area guests can use to hand wash clothes and a drying line at the side of the building or you can hang wet clothing in your personal balcony area. No issue with ants in our room.

Très propre, personnel sympathique et réactif. Bien situé car au calme un peu à l’écart de la route principale mais en même temps assez proche avec donc tous les restaurants, plages et commerces proximité.

Beautiful place, excellent value for money.

Beautiful individual studio type accommodation, large bathroom with hot water, they even provide drinking water for free! The house was so pretty and so spacious, the garden is really well maintained and the bed was very comfortable. They were also really helpful when we were trying to find out the times and routes for ferries for our onward travel.

Great spacious room amazing price and even better staff

Honestly i loved this property so much. The room was so spacious, beds were comfy. Shower pressure was good. Hired a moped through the hotel which was great. Location is good! If you just want to walk there a few restaurants close by and bars within 20 minutes. But the best part about this place is no doubt the staff. They were so friendly offering recommendations, helping us with transfers and just great to talk to. Thank you Justin and everyone else!

Too many ants!!! The newer rooms are fine but there is an ant problem in the twin room.

Walking distance to public pool natural spring water so very refreshing

Lots and lots of ants. About 1000 migrated with me to my new destination. More attention needed. No food consumption in room.

Easy and relaxed place in the middle of San Juan

Easy and relaxed place in the middle of San Juan. The studio is spacious, has an own water tank and was clean! There is a small outside “balcony” which is nice for sitting outside. We could rent a scooter for 350P per day which was great. We enjoyed the different falls, beach and sunset spots on the island. The host family is lovely and always ready to help and answer your questions.

Overrated!

Elaine and the rest of the staff were very nice. We got a second sheet for the queensize he'd which was only equipped with one to share. The room was spacious. Unlimited drinking water inside the room. Balkony with table, chairs and opportunity to hang clothes/towels to dry. AC AND ventilator.

The bathroom had a very bad smell. We had hot water only at one of four evenings. The first evening there was no water at all so we had to shower with a bucket and a cup. AC is very loud. Many ants inside the room. Drinking water was finished in the room, when we checked in. We got new water after two request at day 3.

Clean and Big Room. The Staff is very friendly and helpfully. The hole Guesthouse looks really nice. The price is very good and the Area around is quiet but you can find food and Bars close.

Amazing stay in Siquijor

Spacious room with loads of facilities available - kitchenette and our own water cooler which was much appreciated. Bathroom was really nice and a big porch/terrace area to chill and hang clothes to dry. Staff were exceptional, Justin was so friendly and really helpful!

Personeel super, maar de kamer is de prijs niet waard.

Het personeel was super aardig, zij verdienen echt een 10. Ze hebben me zelfs scooter leren rijden (terwijl ze zich zorgen maakte haha). Ze doen alles voor je. Airco werkt super.

De eerste nacht sliep ik in een kamer waar de douche koud was en het toilet stuk. Het bed was voor mij ook niet te doen, doorgelegen, te hard? Geen idee. Ik moest dus kamers verhuizen en dit vond ik wel irritant in een verblijf van 2 dagen.

Fantastisch

Het personeel is super aardig en helpt goed met alle vragen die je hebt. Het was mogelijk om een scooter te huren en om voor een prima prijs met een tricycle naar de pier gebracht te worden. Wij zouden dit verblijf zeker aanraden en je krijg echt waar voor je geld! Wat betreft locatie zijn er prima restaurants en ontbijtmogelijkheden op loopafstand.

Als kleine tip zou het fijn zijn om handzeep bij de kraan te hebben zodat je je handen met zeep kan wassen. Verder was alles uitstekend!

The owner and her nephew were incredibly helpful and friendly. The bike we rented was of very good quality and a competitive price. The room was a good size.

The air conditioning unit was very loud so we slept with earplugs and we needed it on as the room got very hot.

Lovely accommodation!

The room was absolutely lovely! Spotlessly clean, comfy bed and comfy bedding. Our room was cleaned half way through our stay with fresh bedding and towels (they smelt amazing!) Bathroom was great, shower pressure and temperature was perfect. The outdoor area was so lovely, a really nice place to sit on the terrace outside of the apartment. Location was great and we rented a moped easily for a very reasonable price. Additionally all of the staff were so nice! They really made our stay so comfortable and relaxed.

Peaceful, friendly and in a great location - the perfect stay in Siquijor!

Uptown Guesthouse is the perfect place to stay in Siquijor! The rooms are clean and spacious, with free drinking water which was an added bonus. The location is great - just up the hill from the main road so it's lovely and peaceful but easy to get to all the local restaurants. Justin was brilliant, so welcoming and helpful. We also rented a moped for a good price so managed to explore everywhere that we wanted.

The wifi signal was very weak, especially in the room.
