Our stay was clad with so many challenges around the house, accessing basic amenities and support.

I liked the fact that my partner and I were together and there were no interactions or noise from the surrounding. It was relatively serene and quiet. I also liked the fact that we could locate stores around and easily identify bus stops. Cooking was not very dificult for us, although the gas cooker was very slow and we spent longer time cooking.

The toilet was dirty, leaking water from the radiator and very small. I and my partner did not enjoy using the toilet, we only had no choice. The house owners were completely unreachable by phone, and all the times we tried to reach out to them, it was never successful. Their number doesn not work at all, I had to resort to using emails to communicate, and at some point, I got fed up and decided not to try to contact them by email until I was done with my stay. We could not use the washing machine becasue for two days, we had no idea that you needed to put in a coin before it can come on. Therer was no one in the property to walk us through such steps. The central heating system was nothing to write home about, we had to always use the portable heater, which sometimes made the room very hot. The drain in the bathroom was blocked from day one, we had to always use a plunger while taking a bath, in order to allow water flow, this was very uncomfortable and unhygeinic. Overall, the esperience was not pleasant, and we did not have a run for our money. Thank you.

Bed comfortable despite squashed in position , clean room but smelly and would not return

Convenient location and warm room

Access difficult because keys not where they were supposed to be. Room smelt dreadful because of rubbish bin smells and prior smoking. Shower fittings were damaged and fell off wall at first touch although good shower volume and heat. En-suite tiny for normal sized folk. Heated towel rail was not. Light over bed not working and bed jammed against wall one side so easy access difficult . Cutlery incomplete so only one fork for two people and rest in poor state.

Good location and great value for the money

The studio has everything you need for a short stay. It has good connection to transport, and there are many shops around for food/basic items. The host was nice and responsive. Would definitely stay here again next time I am in London.

The studio can get a bit hot during summertime, a small fan could be a good addition maybe.

Recommended studio

The apartment was spotless with everything that was needed available. Furniture, cutlery and kitchen utilities.

It is unfortunate that parking is only available for permit holders until after 6:30 on a Friday. This is outside of the control of the owner. However there is free and affordable parking close by.

Bad

Dirty had to clean room and ask for clean bedding. Noise from upstairs all night a dog running around and men walking the floor which was my ceiling didn't sleep a wink all night then in morning 6 ish doors banging I came home feeling exhausted and ill due to lack of sleep never been to anywhere like it. Don't be concerned, there will definitely be no returning. What I paid for that room I paid less for hotel. With extra day as a bonus.

I believe that the property would best suit a solo traveler.

This property would best suit a solo traveler due to it's small size.

The general hygiene of the property is poor, the toilets cleanliness wasn't on point and the floors weren't flawless. The property isn't accessible by underground and requires the use of buses/Uber to reach from and to the underground station. If you have a vehicle it's very difficult to find out a parking as most of the streets surrounding requires a Resident Permit parking.

Very good

Room is very well equipped, private kitchen and bathroom. Pretty close to the Tube station with easy access to the city center.

Very tiny bathroom. Being 6'3" tall I was unable to wash my teeth with closed bathroom door.

Not returning.

Host was friendly. The communication was very nice, quick and friendly. He gave us a few tips on how to get breakfast and other restaurants in the neighborhood. Also about transport. Did his best to make it feel like home, but…

Needs some repairs. We found (smelly) food from previous visitors in te refrigerator. The room temperature was very hot when we arrived, we had the window open the whole stay to cool it down. The shower temperature was hot and couldn’t be brought down. The bed was not comfortable for us, after 3 nights we were broken. We stayed in room 3. The distance to the city was 45-60 minutes bij public transport.

Superb

It was comfortable ,cosy n value for money n loved the fact they had an electric heater if it got cold after having showers

No number on door, narrow staircase to get to room, couldn't turn shower water turn cos hot water was really really HOT apart from that it wassa pleasant stay. It was noisy downstairs when we arrived .

There was basically everything you needed for a good couple of days...the facilities were handy.

The bed was not very comfortable. The exterior of the property was tacky and unkempt. A little bit of cleaning, cutting of the grass and tidying up would be nice. Central heating was not available and although there was an electric heater to use. Kitchen sink did not have hot running water.

Conveniently located -Good value for money studio

Clear instructions about key collection beforehand. Conveniently located for shops and transportation . Host Frankie was friendly and helpful. Wifi connection was good. Good shower pressure. Good range of cooking utensils and cleaning products .Appreciated having a decent sized freezer compartment in the under counter fridge freezer . Good value for money. Complimentary tea/coffee and shower gel .

A small peep hole in the door for security purposes would be a good idea. I did experience some noise from the flat above , not entirely sound proof. There was a faint smell of tobacco in the room -would prefer non smoking environment. Otherwise a pleasant stay.

Exceptional

I liked the whole room and the location was nice.

The fact that we couldn't close the blinds properly. There was no instructions on how to use the shower for the water temperature. Took a while to figure it out.

Superb

The host was very friendly and the bed was comfortable. The bus connections are good and the shops nearby are good

On the first night somebody in the building left the latch on the door from the inside so we couldn't get in even with the correct key so that was annoying but not directly the hosts fault just something to look out for. I guess it is far away from the city centre which for people visiting London for the first time and wanting to see main attractions might not be entirely suitable but for our type of visit ( seeing friends in some areas a bit further north of central London) it was perfect.

Disappointing

Clean and had everything that I needed for my short stay. Very helpful landlord.

Very noisy at night, slamming doors etc, also the appearance from the outside of the property was poor, the front “garden” was a mess and the back garden had not been cut for a while and had an old bed frame in it, it’s a shame as my room was ok but the outside let it down.

Clean

It was clean and tidy, nice windows overlooking the garden, with curtains large enough to cover them at night, it's near a big Aldi, the room had an oven and all necessary facilities. Easy self-check-in and out.

The hot water in the shower was boiling and there was no way to adjust it. Bed needs to be replaced, it was not comfortable. Also the house was quite noisy and not soundproofed, I was being kept up till midnight by arguing neighbours and they started again at six am, both of the nights I stayed there.

Great for what we needed the place for, cwl London.

Nice layout of the room with a pleasant welcome pack of wine and glasses. Everything you need is there on arrival.

No privacy - the curtains do not cover the whole of the window so the houses opposite can see straight in on you. Felt so uncomfortable getting changed.
