Very spacious and clean room. Nice view. Easy access to the beach. Good breakfast.
Water from the shower spreads to the entire floor of the bathroom. The heater is slightly small in capacity for the space. The king-size bed is too soft for our liking.

Lovely breakfast included. Lucky enough to be offered free upgrade on tent due to it being winter season. Great location near beach, pool and restaurant. Close to town, lovely walks around area. Quiet comfortable tent, great kitchen facitilities. Well stocked bathroom with lovely toiletries provided.
All good, can't fault anything!

Good feel to property, secluded uncrowded restaurant and bar area.
Nowhere to place luggage, luggage racks would have been useful. A useless couch in the room facing the bed, would have been far better to have a desk and 2 chairs. Lighting incredibly dim. After room cleaning several used cups and glasses just left where they were. No dishwasher liquid or drying cloths available so assumed staff would do that? At that price for a tent one expects service to be at Zamphire standard.

Breakfast was amazing.
We needed our room cleaned but weren’t told that we had the only key to get in…
Not a biggie, just mentioning FYI

The tents were great, had everything we needed and were big and spacious. The location is amazing! The views are fantastic and the beach is beautiful. The breakfast had a good selection and was delicious as was the bar food. Happy hour was also very good!! The quokkas are very friendly and it’s so nice having them jumping about everywhere.
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

Beautiful location, spacious tent and all the necessary accessories such as ear plugs for the wind, pod coffee and T2 tea. Also a good sized kitchen and included breakfast buffet, which was good.
We loved waking up to the sunrise through the property main window.
Expensive for what we got.
The pool is poorly located, shaded for most of the day.
The restaurant menu for dinner was different to what was provided it the room, it was a much reduced menu that was very unimpressive - we walked into the settlement instead of eating there.

I loved the pool area - if only there weren't so many children around so that I could enjoy it more! I spent my last day just relaxing by the pool when there were no kids in the area and it was amazing!!
The bed in the room is rly comfy and the bathroom was clean.
The buffet breakfast was also AMAZING. I should note however - please DO NOT SIT OUTSIDE FOR BREAKFAST!! the Seagulls will absolutely DESTROY YOU.
Sunset by the restaurant was also beautiful.
The staff were also super friendly and helpful.
The guest toilets near the pool should be cleaned better. There was one of the evenings there where the toilet bowls were mostly stained by poop D:
Lunch and dinner are way too overpriced and quality is not great. A cheeseburger cost $28 and a steak sandwich $30. Cocktails all cost $20 per drink.
My tent was located right next to a crowded campsite which made it very noisy at night. It was a little bit hard to get to sleep and you also get waken up extremely early in the morning because of all the people and kids running around your tent.

Everything it was faultless. The inclusive breakfast was wonderful.
Better instructions signage would have been appreciated. Also some way of offering guests ferry pickup drop off would be great for mobility impaired.

The staff are super friendly and very helpful, location to the beach is perfect and a short walk to the town center when needed. Having a restaurant and bar on site is amazing and food is good. The breakfast is amazing, so much food and very tasty, almost worth the trip just for that. The bed was comfortable, make sure to get the fan going to cool the tent for sleeping later. The pool is great for a more relaxed vibe and a morning meditation after breakfast. Highly recommend this location on Rottnest.
Not much here, first beware the seagulls, never leave food unattended on the outside tables and when done wait for the staff to clean up before leaving, other wise it is like a scene for the movie birds.
Also when ordering with the touchless system on your phone be aware each transaction generates a credit card fee, so every time you order a round of drinks you incur a fee, were as if they opened an account it would only happen once with the credit card. It cost me almost 6 dollars in transaction fees over a couple of hours.

Gorgeous place
neighbours were noisy after 10PM, had to call to the reception desk for the help. The tent was close to the main road, very inconvenient. It`s very expensive just for one night, I pay the same amount for the rent for 1 week in Perth

Excellent breakfast. A bit far to walk to from the jetty. Perhaps they should consider providing some form of transportation.
No television!

Good spot, walking distance to lovely beach and town centre.
My teenage children slept in bunk beds (family tent) and the mattresses were not good. You could feel the springs so not comfortable.

The resort had perfect location - super close to the settlement where all the restaurants/grocery store. Pinky beach was a wonderful beach to sunbath and swim at, didn’t have much wind on that beach the days I was there. Breakfast was amazing - fresh fruit and eggs with the most amazing pastries and croissants - way better than most hotels. The standard tent was very clean and comfortable, but situated slightly close to the road so sometimes you can hear the cyclists with music driving past - although this is not something the resort can control. It gets very windy at night - so bring high quality ear plugs - as the tent can get noisy. Again not something the resort can control. Wonderful vibe from the international staff, everyone was very helpful.
When I read other reviews that said “quite pricey and not good value for money” I was nervous. But I’ve travelled a lot (over 50 countries) - and to be fare for the service you get and access to the beautiful Rottnest island for a few days without having to catch a ferry in and out - I would say it’s worth it. And the price is similar to other resorts on islands like Seychelles ect. Loved it

Breakfast
Very expensive for a standard tent. Paid $538 Bathroom basic and shower tiny and not the cleanest plus boiling hot air n the bathroom. Sapphire resort cost the same for the night and is pure luxury.

ROTTO...what can I say. My most perfect place in the world.
Pinky's beach is just so lovely. The beach is soft white, pink creamy sand. The water is clear, clean brisk...INTOXICATING.
I love Discovery Park on Rotto because they convey why we all originally loved Rotto. Coming from an older generation it was a place where Neurosurgeons and Garbagemen wore thongs and bathers, and no-one cared or knew the difference. It was a place of unity shared in bungalows and tents, under clear starry skies with the smell of kero lamps at dusk and an alarm clock of freshly cooked bread in the morning. Your Discovery has not encroached on that atmosphere. You have allowed the essence of Rotto to stay without being an atrocious concrete eyesore with no consideration into integration of the essence of that, which is ROTTO!
Thank you. I WILL BE BACK!
This really doesn't have anything to do with your accommodation but more on how you promote yourselves.
I am sad that there is an effort to overpower the name ROTTNEST.
With compassion and respect, I understand the heaviness of heart associated with the Island's history, but "Rotto" manifests the simplicity of unpretentiousness. Her beauty is perfection, her history a little quirky being that she was named after a rodent. I think it's fun and should not be discourage. We Aussies are known for laughing at ourselves, and I believe this one should be acknowledged and applauded.
I have visited my beautiful Island many times and encountered numerous changes. Some for the better, others speeding towards an unsure future. I see a gradual strong Indigenous influence which gave me a totally opposite vibe to the once relaxed, ideal attitude of our precious unique paradise.

Brekkie great but maybe change daily options a little. Ie hash browns, avocado. Offer gluten free museli…
Great barista made coffee!
Enjoyed the daily messages to let us know about yoga, music etc.
Room was perfect for family of five with larger bathroom and ability to close off the bunks with zipper.
Not enough beds in shade by pool.
Lunch and dinner - more options without chips and bread (also menu on internet had more options than available onsite)
Screen door didn’t lock
Quokka poo everywhere - more regular check/clean

The property is quiet and relaxing. It is clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
It’s over priced. We’re average people and would’ve loved to have stayed for longer but it makes for an expensive holiday
4.5 / 5.0
