About this chalet rental
Chalet of recent construction (2006), independent, mainly of wood, located in residence, open access all year round. Classified 4 stars by prefecture of the Alpes Maritimes. Suitable for up to 8 people, ideally for 6. Total surface 147m² on 3 levels. Has: 2 garages on the ground floor accessible from the upper floors, a first with: living room with stove, American kitchen, separate bedroom and shower room, wc, a second floor with 3 bedrooms, 2 shower rooms, 2 toilets. Electric floor heating and convectors. Large terrace on the first overlooking the slopes and valley, balcony on the second with the same view. South-southwest orientation. Departure on skis. Shops in the heart of the resort at 300m. by small funicular or free shuttle. Possibility to rent sheets and personal linen on site. Reception and departure provided on site by professional staff or by ourselves
General Conditions: A seasonal rental contract is established to avoid any surprise for both the tenant and the owner. There is therefore a 25% deposit to be paid upon booking, the balance 4 weeks before entering the premises. In case of late booking the entire rental is required upon booking.
Insurance as a tenant will be required. In general, multi-risk insurance for the main dwelling of the tenant covers the Civil Liability risk at the resort. This certificate must be requested from your insurance company.
An inventory is established on arrival and departure by professional staff, who can also intervene for any problem arising during the stay.
The cleaning is done by professionals ensuring a cleanliness of the premises guaranteed. Additional cleaning can be requested during the stay.
The rentals are in principle from Saturday from 4 p.m. next Saturday at 10 a.m.
Situation of the Chalet: The chalet is located in the heart of the Résidence des Chalets du Mercantour on the edge of a private road, accessible in all seasons as it is systematically cleared of snow. The 2 garages are on the ground floor of the chalet, accessible directly from the floors without having to go out in the cold. The departure on skis is done by joining at 30m. the elevator of a small building which drops you 15m. below. At the foot of the building you put on your skis and descend to the heart of the resort on a small track called 'La Chevrette'. The ski area is available to you opposite on the north slope, beyond towards the slopes of the Méné, or going up behind the chalets to the Col de la Lombarde. You will return by the Belvédère track or by the Diva, and 100m. further you are at the foot of the building from which you started. If you prefer to reach the heart of the station on foot there is a free funicular at 150m. of the building which drops you off 150m away. of the shopping mall with all the shops.
The equipment of the Chalet. Access to the chalet is double, either by an external staircase which joins an entrance airlock, or by an internal staircase from the car garages. The chalet is equipped so that 6 people can live there at ease. There are 4 bedrooms, 1 master, 2 have 140 beds, the other 2 have 120 beds. The sofa is convertible. A baby bed completes the set. The living room is equipped with a high-powered stove. Heating and hot water are produced by electricity. the chalet is equipped with wifi internet and free telephone to landlines, 3 televisions. The kitchen facilities are numerous including raclette, microwave, dishwasher, etc ... On the ground floor washing machine, dryer, table tennis, ski room.
Possibility of putting on the terrace if the weather permits, electric barbecue, table chairs and garden relax, parasol.
The chalet is equipped with 3 bathrooms (1 bath 2 showers), 3 toilets.

The chalet itself is nice, and situated in an area that provides good views over the ski area. BUT, considering the rental price, it needs refurnishing in all areas, and is not very convenient to access from resort’s the ski runs. Would we rent this again? Probably not.

Lovely Chalet in Isola 2000
A lovely and well appointed chalet in the Hammeau of Isola 2000. We were made to feel very welcome by Rene and the chalet had all of the amenities you could wish for. We were two families - seven people - all sharing and staying together. We had plenty of space and the garage was great for securing skis and boots overnight. A great stay and we hope to stay again. Thank you.

Grand chalet bien situé, bien entretenu et bien équipé, conforme en tout point à la description. En été, Il est proche des départs de randonnées et de la supérette pour les courses, accessibles en 5 minutes à pied. Propriétaire accueillant et bien organisé. Environnement calme. Vue superbe de la grande terrasse. A recommander sans problème.
