The place is in a very good location and super easy to find, the Host is too sweet, the place was clean and my kids loved every minute of the stay.

The activities for kids was lovely could keep them busy. However the tiny ants kept getn in the way n biting them wen they were playn at d play area soo they had to be indoors.
I The fact that there were no water. I do understand there is water shedding in certain areas however we was the only house that had to go and fetch water for bathing n washing dishes as other houses had water coming to their taps.. Maintenance guys only came to check on 2nd last day at d place and still could not find the problem.
I had previously stayed here and it was lovely however this time round was not soo pleasant.

This was probably the worst place I stayed at on the South Coast, Southbroom. The owner Munira was not at all co-operative. The place was not cleaned up before our arrival. Load shedding is bad so it affects everything but the owner just blamed load shedding for everything.

What we found there is not what we saw on pics, totally different
I did not like that there was no iron clothes and yet we were not told.. I did not like that I had to pay extra R500.00 that was not on this app, and the owner doesn't want to bring it back, she says we broke glasses that we didn't even used, she is reporting that today because it's time to bring back our money, she had all 7 days to do that

It's located in a peaceful area
It's perfect

The rooms were clean on arrival, the beds were comfortable. The resort has a lovely pool and jungle gym suitable for children. There is no wifi so the elderly will enjoy the peace and quiet. The beach is close by. The malls are 10 minutes away but you would have to pay toll charges.
I would have liked to meet the host at the property. Welcome tea/coffees/ sugar and creamers should have been sufficiently provided. There was no cleaning service. Towels/ toilet rolls should have been provided for the duration of the stay. The bathroom water was milky and had black particles coming out of it. We were not informed of load shedding so at least some candles could have been provided. Complimentary shampoo and conditioner would have been nice. The cottage is lovely but needs a paint job.

We appreciated everything.

The apartment was very cosy. There was issues with water due to the flooding. However, lots of water was provided for us which we are so thankful for.
We were allowed to check in early and check out late.

The pool and entertainment area was great.
The room had aircon.
The add stated that there is a iron and body soap which there is none provided. I had to drive 15km to buy a iron and soap at my cost which I had to lose time and was such an inconvenience. The toaster keeps and tripping the main DB board. The main bedroom has water dampness which you can smell. The toilet door is broken at the bottom. The paint in the ceilings in both the bathrooms are flaking off(not a good site. The guest bathroom handshower mixer does not work. The main bedroom shower when bathing the water just starts getting hot on its own, very unsafe for a child to bath on his or her own. The shower has no soap holder and the basin has no mirror to have a shave. The tiles at the main bedroom door is coming out. The braai area outside the unit is not good at all it needs a upgrade... Most of all - THERE IS SO MUCH OF NOISE FROM CONTRACTORS IN THE EARLY PARTS OF THE MORNING. We are on holiday not wanting to wake up at 6:30 by cutting of timber and banging of hammer so early, that's madness... This unit really needs to be upgraded.

Munira out host was unbelievable she was so tentative and always available, the linen and towels were spotless along with the house. The kids play area was brilliant a huge hit for my kids.
The only thing I have to say is the decor needs an upgrade.

It was close to the beach and not far to travel either to Margate or Wild Coast
We did not have water for a few hours on Sunday however there was JoJo tanks with plenty of water. We understand this was unforseen as there was also load shedding which the host made us aware of.

The house had a washing machine. Although it took a long time to figure out. It could gave had a tumble dryer too. It was raining and we had to do washing urgently. Needed clean towels too. We had to dry inside with aircon , when we went out for day. It was good it had aircon in master bedroom and lounge.
Owner did offer us to check out later on monday but we needed to get on the road, homeward bound. She should have re reimbursed some of our money rather.
The marina beach area is gorgeous as we drove through and the beach magnificent however should I do come back it would be to a different establishment.
I didnt like the fact that I paid R495.00 in taxes and charges and we didnt get extra towels and toilet paper. We had each received 1 towel per person for 2 nights stay and the toilet paper roll in each bathroom was not even full rolls in the holders. I dont believe that the owner expected us to wash the towels each night so that we could have clean towels. On the morning we left we didnt have toilet paper and luckily we had babies wipes.
There was no daily cleaning , we cleaned the place ourselves and even left a clean place on leaving.
So not really sure what the R495 was for.
I stayed in a resort that charged me R85 for admin fee and R64 for cleaning for my entire 5 night stay. Housekeeping was done daily. And they left a roll of toilet paper and fresh towels daily. Asked if we needed fresh linen as well.
I didnt mind cleaning but it seems I was charged at Sherwood Forest although I was expected to do my own cleaning.
Also should work on driveways , cars cant go u without risking damage. I understand its rustic but we are not using horse and cart but cars.
This was not a lot of bang for my bucks.

Location, and Debbie, the manager of the resort. She made it clear that this individual owner, is causing immense damage to the reputation of the resort.
The reviews are either fake, or given during a bygone era.
Please note that I am an Agoda, VIP client of some 25 years.
The place was infested with mice, I have pictures to prove. We had no water for 1st 2days. No maid as promised, no daily towels. We left 2 days early. The host refused to assist, neither did she welcomed us on arrival, nor checked the inventory. She gives you the impression that she either owns or manage the resort. She owns one unit in the resort.
