Miss. Margaritaville provided the perfect oasis for our family vacation. The pool was a family favorite! There was plenty of room throughout the home for everyone to feel comfortable, and the beach was just a short walk away. Would highly recommend this property to future vacationers!

We had a great stay at Miss Marg! The house was spotlessly clean upon arrival and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The heated pool was so nice to have as it got a little chilly at night. We practically lived on the huge screen porch which overlooked the pool. We cooked our meals there, dined there and lounged and watched TV on the porch! The beach access was practically right across the street. And the weather! The weather was beyond perfect. Warm and sunny during the day and nice and cool at night. I’m not sure I’ve seen the Gulf as crystal clear as it was but wow!. 30A Vacay provided everything we needed before arrival and were super easy to get ahold of and prompt with our requests. I would highly recommend Miss Margaritaville to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay on 30A. Especially in April!

Beautiful home
This home met all of our families needs! Great accommodations, pool and proximity to the beach. The management company was wonderful to work with. Our family will rent this property again.

We had a wonderful vacation while staying at this beautiful house near the beach.
We had no major problems.
We do want to advise you of some minor things needing attention:
1. The grate on the outside grill was rusted badly and only one burner worked.
2. A lamp on the bottom/ground floor did not operate.
3. The bathroom sink in the middle-floor bathroom (on the kitchen level) is badly clogged.

Clean,very well maintained,trust worthy owners
Very much liked the property, the house was very clean, lots of towels provided, starter kit of toiletries and kitchen cleaning supplies provided, well stocked array of utensils, pool very clean, all appliances ,washing machines and TV's in working condition. everything as promised
The only three things can be improved are wifi and found couple of roaches in kitchen,so pest control would be needed and nails on deck needs to be hammered,it was sticking out.

Nice house. Great spaces and beds. Excellent location.
We enjoyed Miss Margaritaville for our Thanksgiving family vacation. There was only one issue. Internet/WiFi/Direct TV. Most of our stay, the Direct TV didn’t work. We did not get to watch football on Thanksgiving. The WIFi was spotty at best and we had college students with us who needed to do class work. Even checking email was difficult, if not impossible. The property manager was great and checked the Direct TV for us, but then shared that the package is the bare minimum. Also, the IPad in the kitchen had been disabled, and there was no information in the house regarding rental info.
The rooms and beds were good, except for the pull out sofa bed, which was very uncomfortable. If some changes are made to the WiFi situation, we may rent the house again.

Overall it was a pleasant experience with the house. Will list below the negative aspects
-Aunts in driveway-got stung just unloading car
-roaches and Beatles in house downstairs
-not well insulated between bottom and main floor so can be kind of loud if staying on the bottom floor
-information/guest kiosk/ipad was not functioning
-no lights on front outside of house so can be dangerous going up and down outside steps at night time.
-public beach access across the street and is about 5 houses down-the stairs are off a steep cliff and about 50 steps down to the beach-just a heads up for those with young infants/handicapped persons-very challenging and potentially dangerous to do with strollers/wagons/beach gear (this is not a negative notation toward the house in particular, just something we would have like to know before booking).

The house was fine for our family of 9.
There are some things that needed attention.
The vents need cleaning as they were very dirty .
Main floor bath needed new shower curtain, mildew resistant ones help.
Kitchen had a tile that needed replacing by the fridge. Also dirty.
Back door was unattached to the closer.
Walking down the back steps a huge stone
Needed replacing(made it awkward to step down). Upstairs siding needed replacing .
Also a good painting for the outside is a great idea.
I realize it was the end of the season but kinda expected a little better condition for our rental fee .
Pool also had a huge crack by the right end.
Enjoyed the location close to the beach.
My family enjoyed their stay .
Thanks

Wonderful property- just a bit further from beach access than we thought. Living room rug hurts!!
Wonderful house, lots of great amenaties. A few kids got sores on their feet from the living room rug- it’s rough. The pool was awesome. Outside space and grill are wonderful. Little bit of a walk to beach access.

What a terrific place for a larger family to spend their vacation at.
We were looking for a place large enough for our whole family of 8 adults and 5 kids to stay at. This place was perfect. Clean, well stocked, comfortable, with many amenities. Each room had it's own appeal and the family gathering area was fantastic and comfortable. Dawn, the manager was great and stayed in contact when ever we needed anything. If you want a nice place to share time with your family, this is it

Close to Beach!
The property was clean and looked exactly as shown in the photos on the website, however there were some issues. We could not locate a few items (ie extra towels and when we called the owner she did not know where they were either, so we literally walked around the entire house looking for the towels. There were no sheets on the pull out sofa(which was as hard as a rock), we had to search to find those as well because she did not know where those were either. The ants in the drive way were awful, standing in the driveway waiting for the rest of our party and next thing you know my legs were attacked with ants. Also the doors were very hard to open and close, and there were no blinds on the front door to the house which I detest, there should be blinds or shams, no one should be able to see in the house. That was extremely alarming to me. We also had to go and purchase items that should be in the unit, dish soap, laundry detergent, toilet tissue. Overall I expected more from the owner, there was no printout on the table with Wi-fi codes or any instructions.

Perfect Place for a Margarita!
We stayed here on a multi family trip. This place was perfect for the three families that came! The older kids took over the living area downstairs while the adults were upstairs. Having the pool in the back was perfect to hang around in the evenings while grilling on the upper deck. We actually expected the pool to be smaller than in the pictures. However we were pleasantly surprised to find that it seemed bigger than in the pictures! It was also nice to have the second fridge downstairs to use as our drink fridge! The ONLY downside if the house was the kitchen. As we cooked in the house most nights and breakfast in the mornings it got a little cramped when more than one person was in the kitchen but we can totally overlook that. The beach access was a little further than expected but wasn't too far. We had three kids under the age of 6 and none of them ever complained about the walk. This place has got to be one of the best places to stay on 30A!

A Beautiful Seaside Retreat!
We stayed at Miss Margaritaville when we took our two young children on their first vacation to the ocean. Miss Margaritaville ended up being the perfect place to stay during our trip. It truly felt like a home away from home. It was so inviting, spacious, comfortable, and kid friendly! It was close enough to the ocean that we could all just walk down to the beach, and also get back quickly if we needed to. The private pool saved us when we realized that our little toddler was actually terrified of the ocean (hence, the needing to get back quickly, as mentioned above). We spent many hours having wonderful family time in that pool! Definitely lots of memories made! We're so glad we stayed at Miss Margaritaville and hope we will be able to again in the future!

Ten out of Ten - 30A Beach Vacation Home
Our family spent a week in October 2014 at Miss Margaritaville. We have been vacationing on 30A for nearly ten years, and this vacation home has been our best experience yet.
The home is huge, with breath taking views of ocean from the third level, and a good view from the second. We stayed with another family, and felt as though we could have comfortably added another.
The home is very spacious inside and out, and perfect for families with young children. The private pool area in the back was much bigger than it looked in the pictures, and was a perfect place to spend time in the evenings for BBQ and night time swims. We loved this home, and intend to rent it every year, so you better book early! -The Cunningham Family

multi-family vacation
We stay in Seacrest every year but were traveling with a larger group for this trip making our usual rental not an option. This rental was an excellent substitution! We had more than enough room & the floor plan worked perfectly for two families with children of varying ages. The kitchen was well stocked with dinnerware & cookware, the grill was an appreciated addition & the bikes in the garage were a bonus. The pool was not something we anticipated using much, but due to high winds the week of our trip we spent lots of hours there. Our one maintenance issue, outdoor lights not functioning, was repaired quickly by the property manager & he followed up the next day to check to see if we'd experienced any additional problems. The walk to beach access is about 5 minutes or so, I'd recommend utilizing a chair service.

Home Away From Home
What a lovely home! Your very own home away from home,...only better because it is at the beach. Recently spent a week at A Sand Wedge with 3 adults, 5 children, and 2 dogs and there was still plenty of room. The location is ideal, the pool was magnificent, and the house is even nicer than the photos depict. Everything you could need or want while on vacation is provided. Perfect for a family vacation or girl's get-a-way if you do not care to be in the midst of a high-traffic tourist area. Seacrest is wonderful and I would highly recommend this property to anyone. Having grown up vacationing in Panama City and Destin this was a wonderful surprise because it was a quiet and relaxing location tucked between the two. However, the best part for me was that pets are allowed on the beach. My dogs loved to walk on the beach first thing as the sun was coming up and yet again as the sun was going down. Thank you, Patricia, for opening your home to us and I look forward to renting again next year!

We had our second stay at A Sand Wedge and couldn't have picked a nicer place or area of the pan handle. The house is fully appointed with everything you need to have a true beach vacation. With beautiful views of the water and stunning sunsets, the house is close to the beach and even closer to its own in ground pool. We were thankful that A Sand Wedge allows pets since our black lab loves long walks on the beach. We look forward to returning again and again. Thanks for the memories!
