About this house rental
In 2017, the house was renovated to create a brand new kitchen with an open floor plan, quartz island and new cabinets and appliances. The dining room and kitchen are now one large room that lets in so much light. There are now two sets of double doors that lead to the HUGE back deck! This is just the perfect room for entertaining or just hanging out!
This is a four bedroom house with an upstairs sunroom and a downstairs sunroom/breakfast room. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and a large smart TV. This room shares a bathroom with the adjacent room with a queen Serta sleeper bed, this room also has a large smart TV. The third bedroom has a king sized bed and a large smart TV. This bedroom shares a bathroom with the forth bedroom which has TWO bunk beds, these beds have a twin bed over a full sized bed. This room sleeps six.
There are newly installed solar panels.
Downstairs there is a living room with a gas fireplace and a connecting office. There is a dining room that seats 8. There is also a beautiful downstairs sun room that opens up onto a huge deck that overlooks a giant fenced in yard. There is a restaurant grade Weber grill on the deck that you are welcome to use. The house is full of windows and has high ceilings. This house is walking distance to Little 5 Points, Inman Park Village, and Virginia Highlands. It is just a couple of miles do downtown and Midtown. The beds all have high quality bedding. There are two parking spaces right out front,. The backyard is completely fenced in so it is a very secure place for kids to play.
There is a 2 bedroom basement apartment that is NOT included with this listing and not connected through the house. It has a completely separate entrance around the back of the house. I also rent the basement apartment on VRBO and offer a discount when rented with the main house. This apartment has two bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, and a movie theater room.

We LOVED this house. A vintage house updated but still with lots of original charm. Four huge bedrooms with huge beds! Super comfortable. Walking to lots of restaurants on Highland. And walking to the Carter Library. We hope to stay there again next year.

Lovely house with enormous character and lots of living and bedroom space. Everything beautifully decorated. Would recommend to anyone with visiting friends or family who need to spread out.

We loved our stay at this beautiful old home! The location is absolutely amazing and within walking distance to great coffee, restaurants and shops. We barely needed our rental car. Nancy was incredibly responsive, flexible and so helpful in making our stay comfortable.

We were in town for our daughter's graduation from Emory. This home was perfect for 3 generations of our family to gather and celebrate the graduate. We enjoyed dinners all together, visiting on the back deck. The house was spacious and comfortable for all ages. Would definitely return.

A great, safe location just off Highland Ave. Wonderful restaurants near by.

This home is stunning.
We could not have been happier with our choice of property for our girls’ weekend in Atlanta.
Truly- the house is beautiful & gorgeously decorated, with wonderful linens in all the bedrooms (sheets are important and they have great ones!!), all the appliances you could want, all the tv things you’d need to stay in & snuggle up…
The location is ideal for walking to the Belt-Line & there are numerous, delicious restaurants a quick walk away as well.
When we arrived- there was one MINOR issue over the thermostat setting (it had gone from freezing to warm that week) & the owners fixed it within seconds of contacting them.
We made wonderful memories and will cherish our time at this well appointed home.

We were in Atlanta for my daughter's wedding and needed a home near the venues and spacious enough to allow multiple activities at the same time without being crowded. The home was perfect.
The kitchen had everything we needed, the sleeping rooms were good sized with comfy beds, I was able to do a couple loads of laundry, but my favorite part was the upstairs sitting area between the bedrooms.
We were very busy and not able to enjoy the amazing deck (with heater!) or rest in the living room, but I would definitely rent again. Nancy was a good communicator and responded quickly whenever we messaged.
The cost was out of our budget but it looked perfect, so we splurged and I'm soooo glad we did. It was totally worth it.
You won't be disappointed!

We visited Atlanta for my mother's 80th Birthday. We were charged with providing a location for my mom to stay while party preparations were being made at my sister's home across town. The home did not disappoint. It was beautifully appointed for the winter holidays with gorgeous eclectic furnishings. The kitchen was a joy to work in as it was open to the elegant dining-room where we were all able to congregate. Kudos to the owner for having a house that sleeps eight that actually also has enough chairs and a table to serve eight. My husband noted there were some issues with the cleanliness of the shower drain when we arrived a thorough lightbulb check should be done throughout the upstairs. We visited during an extremely cold period, so the heating was a challenge but not something we couldn't eventually figure out. I hate that because of the weather we couldn't take advantage of the lovely deck that overlooked the backyard. What a beautiful home, and the owner was extremely responsive.

This home was perfect for our family of 5! The weather was very, very cold, but we made due with the beautiful gas fireplace in the cozy family room - a real treat for us Floridians. Nancy went above and beyond to make our stay special including decorating for the holiday! I wouldn’t hesitate to book this property again.

We hosted a family Thanksgiving here and the place exceeding our expectations. The sleeping arrangements were very comfortable and the backyard space was perfect for our dogs! Nancy was a fantastic host and very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend it!

This property could not have been better for my group (5 lifelong college girlfriends reuniting after the pandemic). The house is beautiful and had every amenity we could have asked for (it is beautifully furnished with a gorgeous outdoor deck, a large kitchen that is stocked for every cooking need, a comfy and large TV room (with Amazon Prime and Netflix available), large and beautiful bedrooms, and more). There were only 5 of us but the house could have easily slept 10 people comfortably. It is within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and even the Carter Center and Jimmy Carter Presidential Library! It's also within walking distance of a beautiful, woodland green space where we could take long, lovely walks. The neighbors were really nice and the neighborhood is charming and simply gorgeous. Nancy was fabulous to work with and responded quickly to our every need. I honestly don't think I could give this property a higher review; it exceeded our expectations and we absolutely loved our time together in it!!

This was my very first time renting a vacation home from Vrbo. I will NEVER do it again. This house had beautiful pictures and good reviews. However the pictures did not show the horror that the house held. The owner lived a mile away and was like a nosy neighbor the whole time. We checked in after dark, there was no porch light and it was completely black. I had to use my phone light to put the door code in. Very scary and unsafe. I texted the owner and she said there was an electrical problem where if the dining room light is on, the porch light does not come on???? Her solution was to bring a lamp and some extension cords over for the porch light?? Tacky and unsafe.. In an effort to shorten this review I will just list the things wrong with this house of horror:
1. Marks on the walls and peeling paint.
2. Wall in bedroom falling in
3. Rust and mold on the air vents.
4. Mold in shower and broken shower caddy.
5. Patched up walls and ceilings (from leaks)
6. Roaches(not water bugs but brown nasty roaches)
7. Trip hazards from uneven boarders between rooms and electrical cords everywhere.
8. Broken pieces of tile in the shower.
9. Bed propped up by wood.
10. Hair in the bed and refrigerator.
11. Sheets not clean.
12. The house was not cleaned. Every floor needed sweeping.
13. The whole back porch was very unstable and felt like it would collapse any minute.
I ended leaving a day early because I was so creeped out, I just could not stand it any longer. I got a hotel room for my last night in town. This was NOT a luxury home even though they charged luxury prices… Renter Beware!!

I rented this space because I wanted a home that was in Atlanta, entertainment friendly, large enough to sleep me, my husband, my 3 adult daughters, and my 2 grand daughters, and updated enough to charm my guests. This home definitely delivered!! It is beautifully appointed, and the flow of the house begs for entertainment. Although I didn't throw a full fledged "party", my birthday BBQ (oh, they have an awesome Weber Grill on the deck!!), was amazing. I had about 10 of my family members over, and it was absolutely lovely. Everyone loved the house, the furnishings, and the 100+ year old charm. I'm a Realtor, so I loved giving every guest an individual tour. The beds are wonderful, the furnishings are up to date, kitchen is chef worthy, and this home is close to everything! Walkable to Little 5 Points, Freedom Park, VA Highlands, etc. A true gem! It is behind a gate, and there is a lot of privacy. Please note though, only 2 cars are allowed on the parking pads through the gate, but most of my family used ride sharing, so that wasn't a big deal to us. Over all, 10 out of 10 stars. We will be back!! Nancy is definitely a Super Host!!

Not recommend for family
There were many spiders and spider webs. Kids got bitten. Extreamly sheer curtains in 2 bedrooms to the extent that Kids and adults couldn't sleep before nightfall (9pm) and woke up at sunrises.

Short and sweet.
This property is located in prime location with bars and coffee shops close enough to walk to, yet far enough to not disturb you. I thought the property was gorgeous. There have been updates done and the kitchen and downstairs area was particularly nice. It was perfect for our weekend. They have a nicely stocked kitchen and enough seasoning to get you started. Towels were stocked and check-in was easy. As far as the cons, there were a few that would not keep me from rebooking if I was having the same type of gathering. First con is there is a downstairs tenant. I was reluctant to play our family favorite (taboo) because I didn't want to disturb the tenant below. The upstairs floor is super creaky in some areas so that can be a little worrisome but the beds are so comfortable that I completely overlooked the floors. Lastly the 2 parking spots are tight. I have an Audi Q8 and had to do a good bit of maneuvering to get in comfortably.
Overall I really enjoyed my stay. The front and back porch areas are so peaceful and serene that I spent lots of time just sitting there taking in the view.

Beautiful house for a group stay
We rented this house to host some of our wedding party over our wedding weekend and it was perfect. The house is beautiful (so much so that we even took some of our wedding portraits here), has plenty of room for a group to sleep and spread out during the day, and had a well stocked kitchen with everything we needed for the week.

Spacious and great location
This is in a prime location. Located near many eateries, shopping, entertainment, etc. The home had the charm of an older home, with many of the updated amenities.

Wedding retreat
This property is the perfect location for any getaway in the Atlanta area. The surrounding neighborhood, green spaces and quietness make it hard to believe you are in the middle of a major metro area. The outdoor areas are especially appealing. You are steps from the greenway. There is great access to shopping and restaurants. Close to public transportation.
The house is spacious and nicely furnished. Modern appliances. The kitchen utensils are average at best, but with such great dining nearby why cook?
In summary this is a great place for that special occasion

Family Stay
We reserved this house expecting for it to be my husband, two teen boys and myself. My MIL ended up staying with us unexpectedly. There was more than enough room for all of us! The kitchen is very well stocked to make large meals. I would say it’s one of the best that we have stayed in.
There are stairs and the rooms have jack & jill style bathrooms. Not an issue for us at all. Made it easy to keep an eye on Mom.
Overall a fantastic home for a family of 4 (plus one) to stay. And Nancy was incredibly gracious and attentive, even while traveling.
We plan to stay here during all future Atlanta travels!

Wonderful House full of Character
Nancy’s place was the perfect place for our group. Short walking distance to coffee, food, and all the lovely weirdness of Little Five! The fully stocked kitchen and grill made it easy to stay in and cook without needing to purchase essentials. Highly recommended for large groups.

Great Location, nice property
Great location - walking - for nearby entertainment and exercise and a short Uber/Lyft to everywhere else. Home was clean and the 4 bedrooms were spacious for our adult family and their spouses. Homeowner (Nancy), was great with communication(s). I would note as a few reviewers have previously, there is another unit below the main home. Also, the toiletries and certain amenities (e.g., shampoo) were a bit slim but certainly sufficient. We would certainly love the opportunity to stay at this home again upon our return to Atlanta. Thank you Nancy!

Epic stay in Inman Park!!
We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay while visiting the Atlanta area. Nancy the property owner/manager was so very helpful, friendly and very responsive. The house is beautiful and of course the favorite place was the awesome deck and backyard.
Inman Park is an amazing neighborhood. Everyone we encountered was so welcoming.
We are definitely coming back and bringing the kids. This place is perfect for any kind of trip, whether it be family, grown up fun or business; you won’t be disappointed!!
Thank you Nancy!!

Nice place to visit
Nice and spacious home filled with lots of old southern charm and in a great location for walking and entertainment. Nancy was a great host and easy to communicate with. One observation I'd like to note is that while it was not too disturbing, there is a lower level to the home that is also rented out and we could, as I'm sure they could as well, hear conversations of the other tenants in certain parts of the house. Thank you for sharing your home. The Sampsons

Family Wedding Gathering
Our family gathered from out-of-town for a church wedding. There was plenty of room to spread out during the four days, and there were many options for dining, reading, and relaxing. We used all the spaces, inside and out. The house worked wonderfully, helping us to enjoy being together. The spaciousness even allowed us to host an additional six people for a "socially-distanced" dinner one evening. The kitchen/dining room connection was helpful for the big group.
We were delighted with the location, which offered pleasant venues for walking in neighborhoods and running along the nearby parkway.
Nancy met us when we arrived, welcomed us and answered questions. Before and during our stay she was very helpful and responsive to questions.
Everything was very clean and well-appointed. We are very thankful and happy for our experience!

Perfect for Girls Group Getaway Retreat
We LOVED our stay this this charming home. The house owner Nancy was wonderful to work and so accommodating from start to finish. She even dropped off a bluetooth speaker for us when we inquired if the house had one! The house was completely flawless, and the layout was perfect for any type of fun gatherings. Lots of room for entertaining and catching up with everyone stay in this home, and we loved having the sleeping accomodations all upstairs. Neighborhood was darling, safe, and close to everything. Highly, highly recommend and will definitely stay there again!
