About this villa rental

Our villa was completely renovated in 2018. It is located 100 meters from the eastern bay (often called the 'Saint-Tropez of the Caribbean', it is also one of the most beautiful beaches in Saint-Martin).

It is one of the very rare villas which are both not attached and not overlooked.
(possibility of naturism) while being 2 minutes walk from shops, restaurants and beach

The place is very quiet

The water in the private pool varies between 28 and 34 degrees all year round.

All rooms are air conditioned.

In addition, you can fully enjoy the vast 250 m² teak terrace. You will also appreciate the presence of coconut trees and bougainvillea flowers which give a real typical and exotic charm!
Finally, the entire interior decoration has been redone with great refinement...
The house is completely secure to allow you to spend a peaceful vacation.
In the immediate vicinity you are offered numerous activities: canoeing, scuba diving, boat trips, deep-sea fishing, jet skiing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, horseback riding, hiking, golf, tree climbing, tennis... And for night owls, all kinds of nightclubs, casinos, bars, etc...

We had a great time in St Maarten and loved Villa Suzanna. The location is perfect, the house is setup perfectly with everything you need, and the pool is super private! Highly recommend this as a place to stay. The hosts were amazing, very easy to contact, and checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed. A+++

We were given three different addresses to the property. Day before arrival was given two addresses. I questioned addresses and was given a final address that was incorrect. Upon arrival, discovered the final address given was incorrect as no lock box on door. We tried the other address the day before and found the key lockbox and the code given worked. We assumed this was the correct house. Tried to contact local property manager to confirm but got no response. She showed up at house the next day. She was French with poor English skills. Not a good way to start a vacation.

My husband and I just spent a week in Villa Suzanna. The house had it all and our host was always available for anything we needed. The location was a quick walk from many excellent restaurants and Orient Beach. We loved our private pool and outside area. We look forward to returning.

There were 6 of us including two 18 year olds and the proximity of this house to the beach and village allowed for the freedom to come and go with ease. The pool and huge private deck were as advertised and we used it daily. The house was clean and had everything we needed. No issues at all. Felt safe at all times. The hosts were extremely quick in responding. We’ve stayed all over the island and this villa is definitely a repeat for us!

This was a perfect location - walking distance to grocery, beach and great restaurants. Clean and we enjoyed the USB speaker, outdoor plants and pool. A little difficult to find at first and make sure you have a photo of the instructions/door code - don't rely on wifi before you are in the house and signed in. Thank you for a delightful stay!

We had a great time at this villa and have no complaints. The villa is spacious, clean, and located within walking distance of great restaurants. We had good communication with the property manager and had no problems checking in or out.

There were 4 of us, 2 couples, and the villa was perfect! The location was SO close to town and the beach, just a short walk. We had a fabulous time, loved the palm, pool, and Vic! It was our second time to Orient Bay as we enjoyed the area. Our third trip, we hope to stay at this villa!!

We enjoyed our stay here. The location is very easy to walk to multiple restaurants and the downtown for groceries etc. We found the villa to be nice and clean overall. The amenities were good but usually better in this caliber of place. The appliances in the kitchen weren’t great, and the pillows and towels were lacking. There were no available pool towels (or beach towels). There was only hand soap in one bath and no shampoo etc at all. One day the water simply did not work and we were not able to shower or clean dishes/cook for half the day. When we reached out to Philippe we were told the water cistern didn’t have water and there was nothing he could do. The pool was great and outdoor shower was simple but functional. I wish there was an extra lock on the main slider to the pool as our toddler could easily open this door so we had to be extra diligent about keeping an eye on him with the pool outside, even when this door was shut fully. The beach nearby is fantastic. Beware of pickpocketing or leaving items on the beach as you swim as we had a rough experience with this. Restaurants nearby are lovely. Overall a good experience and great place. these little touches would be helpful.

We have been coming to St Martin for 35 years and recently became interested in this Villa. It's proximity to Orient Beach is fabulous and you have a lot of room to spread out. Check in and check out were contactless which makes everything easier. Philippe was very responsive to our requests and quickly gave us rental car and airport transportation recommendations. Highly recommend this property.

We had an amazing time, the villa was perfect and close (few minutes walk) to restaurants, stores, beach..ect. We really enjoyed the pool and lounging on the deck which is very spacious. We also love the resident cat which we named Penelope. Highly recommend this place.

This house was amazing, very private and serene. It’s just a 3 minute walk from the beach and on the way you walk past some of the best restaurants on the island. (Yellow Sub has the best drinks around!) We had everything we could’ve possibly needed and any time I had any questions Phillipe was very quick to respond. I’ve never had such a good renting experience, we will definitely be back!

On site manager checked us in and showed us around the home. Everything as it should be. Pool, A/C in bedrooms, King bed, general supplies like detergent for us. Pool was perfect. Walking distance to Orient beach (don't think you can get closer). Yellow Sub restaurant for meals, grocery store right there also. Highly recommend.

Very nice villa with a great secluded deck, perfect for sunbathing. The villa has great proximity to shops and the beach, but just far enough away to avoid the noise. The best beach in Orient Bay is a long walk or a short 5 min car ride via the beach road avoiding the main road. The property permits smoking, but no smoke odors were detectable. As non-smokers this was appreciated. Overall we had a great stay and when coming back to St. Martin Villa Suzanna will be at the top of our list.

The location is absolutely amazing. The Villa is great for families. We enjoyed our stay. The following improvements would make our experience even better: -The property manager failed to communicate the correct address of the Villa, even though I asked him several times. He texted me only after we arrived to the island. Too bad my phone number has change along with the new SIM card. The backyard door needs a screen. Seems like a little thing, but the mosquitoes, that got into the house, were fierce.

We have been spending the holidays in St. Martin for several years now but somehow, this was our first stay in Orient Bay. Villa Suzanna will definitely be on our list when we plan our next visit to St Martin. As the other reviews say, the home is well appointed and the owners (and their local team) are very responsive to any issues. The expansive deck and pool area made for more lazy "at home" days than we usually do. When you do want to venture out, you're a 5 minute walk to the town center and the beach. And of course you're very close to Grand Case, Pinel, and Anse Marcel. All in all, a great stay and we look forward to returning!

We have stayed at Villa Suzanna 4 times over the past 3 years. The location is wonderful and easy access to beach, restaurants, grocery store and much more!! The villa has everything we need and the owner is very responsive and Philippe the property manager is always available to help with anything you need. Regardless of whether you are a family or staying with friends I am sure you will find it delightful!! We look forward to staying there again real soon!!!

Great and very private villa. Walking distance to everything! Loved our stay however a few things to note. -bring your own beach towels (Philippe was kind enough to bring us 2 to use). I've never rented a villa that didn't have any so it was a surprise. -the pool has stains around edges which was very creepy at first. Apparently the owners are aware of this and will be fixing it. They didn't come off with the average cleaners. -future travelers may want to bring their own shopping bags with them since local stores don't provide them. We bought a few reusable bags but at first we had to scramble to find boxes to place groceries in. -the owners did a great thing with having not only French TV but also American TV. Note--no Netflix which was disappointing and only one TV. None in the bedrooms. -We were there 9 days and we are used to having someone come in 1-2 times to freshen up the place such as sandy floors etc. So we did sweepings of the floors. Overall a very comfortable getaway! Nice to see all the new restaurants open since the last time we were since there was still lots of construction taking place.

We had a great time the two weeks we stayed here. House was beautiful and had everything we needed. Lots of privacy and a nice pool for cooling off after a day at the beach. We had a couple of issues while we were there but the owners were very quick to address them and had great and fast communication with us. I would highly recommend this property and we are very much looking forward to staying here again next year.

So much good to say about this property: clean, modern, just the right decor without being cluttered. Beautiful pictures in the listing were totally accurate to our experience. Local property manager was available as needed. Location is unbeatable. If you force me to say one negative thing it’s that the oven was impossible to figure out without a call to the property manger, but he solved that with a fast phone call. A wonderful experience all around.

We really enjoyed our stay, being close to the market and restaurant's all within a short walk. The beach was amazing and a short walk in flip flops and you're in the sand. The house was great for us, everything worked as advertised. The manager was responsive and able to resolve any issue we had quickly. The place was very clean and the parking was easily accessible.

We arrived after dark so it was a bit hard to find the house! A suggestion , perhaps put the address on the fence down by the road , instead of up by the door ! Also because we got in late , it would of been nice to have some toilet paper there till we could get to the market ! We enjoyed the house very much , location is great , quick walk to the beach, as well as the wonderful restaurants and market near by !
