This property has always been our favorite place to stay for several years and never disappoints. The owner is an outstanding host has everything ready when we arrive so we can get there and just relax 😌 and chill. We drive from a far distance through heavy LA traffic and would do it over and over again because it’s so worth it. We Love ❤️ Morro Bay it’s just beautiful.

We had a great time to end our summer. The location is great for us and the house had enough room for us. The yard was so relaxing to hang outside and enjoy a glass of wine.
4.8
Perfect location central to the area with so much to do. We loved our stay and had no issues at all. This place is perfect for a family plus a few extras to stay.

The house and yard were amazing. We were all very comfortable in the house, it felt like home. So many activities for my kids to do, from books, games and ping pong! My daughter enjoyed reading books on the patio. The house was so calm and peaceful, perfect to unwind. So glad we found this place and hope to book it again next July!

Our stay was great. The property had everything that the listing said, it was just a bit dated from the pictures. The location was perfect for what we needed. Close to Morro Bay High School. Downtown is an easy 5 min drive. I would stay here again.

This home was perfect for our casual, hike- and beach-loving family. We felt right at home here. Well stocked kitchen and plenty of space for two teens, three adults and a small dog. Lots of outdoor areas for the dog to explore too. Hosts where very friendly and communicated well (makes all the difference dealing with a real person vs. a management company). The location is also perfect — close to everything. We recommend Montana de Oro State Park, San Simeon Point hike, Morro Bay Embarcadero, Fiscalini Ranch Reserve, downtown Cambria, the beach boardwalk in Morro Bay (and watching the sunset on the beach there), and walking the long coastline trail along the bluffs just north of Cayucos. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was clean and community was great. Only thing I should have looked closer was there is no washer or dryer.

Comfortable house, great outdoor area, no highway noise. Two playgrounds walking distance. Walking distance beach not dog friendly but plenty close by. Beds and furniture very comfortable, linens and towels nice. Kitchen very well equipped, could use one more pot and teaspoons. Fridge very old and if not careful stays open and takes long time to cool. French door in bedroom held closed by piece of wood in threshold, lock should be fixed. Overall great house, easy communication. VRBO ad said bikes and spa tub, no longer available. We had old to young and all enjoyed.

The location was ideal for the beaches and wineries we wanted to see. As elders--80 year olds--the house was comfortable with all the amenities we needed to stay happy. Outside tables and chairs were perfect for dining and reading, and drying the sand dollars and seashells we collected. When things went askew, Lani was quick to set things right. The only thing wrong--we didn't use the outdoor grill because we thought it might be dangerous. We hope to return soon and bring our springer spaniel. It is a perfect place for us.

We come to Morro Bay/Cayucos in late summer every year. We look for a clean, comfortable house for a reasonable price. This house fit the bill perfectly and the owner is very nice and communicated well with us.

We stayed here as we prepared to drop pur daughter in Cal Poly. Location was gr8 because we took our doggies. They did enjoy it, but there are a lot of foxtail bushes which are not recommended for dogs to be around. Beds were comfy and restrooms & kitchen were clean. Some spider webs near living room window. Overall, would stay here again.

Pros - clean, quite neighborhood, close to east beach access, 5min from downtown morro bay, many sea animals swimming in bay to watch, owner left s’mores for the kids to make with the fire pit, fenced in front yard was easy to watch the kids play, beds pillows and bathrooms were clean, sept weather was nice, owner communicated well when there was a problem.
Cons - spider webs throughout the house, only one side of bbq grill worked, although rental had 5 hours in between last customer and us, we couldn’t check in on time because rental was not clean and ready, checked in 20min late which made it difficult having 4 toddlers who were tired, place has no a/c (which is normal for this area) and there were no window screens on windows which made it difficult to open doors/windows without having bugs in the house, maintenance crew showed up second day and wanted to do maintenance on the place, prior reviews also said maintenance showed up during stay and took several hours. Car broke down and there is no taxi service in morro bay and Uber could not find a driver in morro bay. ( not the owners fault), but something to consider. Morro bay was such a small town that it was difficult to find help with the automotive emergency we had. Took a tow truck 1.5 hours and had to pay a waitress from local restaurant to take the rest of the family home.
All in all, the kids had a blast, they enjoyed the beach, the house, and the town. We would stay again.

We had 6 adults, 1 teen and a dog. The inside is nice and clean and the bedrooms (especially the master) are very nice. The real star of this property is the outside. Huge front yard with ample seating, a wood fire pit (plenty of places around that sell wood), and a ping pong table that turned out to be a huge hit. We spent a majority of our waking hours outside. The neighborhood is super quiet. The owner was very communicative and friendly. If I come to this area again, I would for sure rent this house!

The home has a great layout. The kitchen has good pots and pans and are not scratched up. Seating areas in the front and back are super! The yard is well maintained. The beds are comfortable for everyone. An excellent Mexican restaurant and a great grocery store are a couple blocks away.

This home was a nice place to stay for the weekend. The host was very friendly and quick to respond. We enjoyed our stay.

Outstanding location. Everything was clean and well-stocked. We had issues with ants in the kitchen and a toilet that continually clogged. The kitchen cabinets are peeling apart and need to be repaired. There are also only 4 dining table chairs in a house that sleeps 6. But none of those things stopped us from enjoying the home and having a wonderful time.

Great little house with an amazing outdoor space.
Had everything we needed for our stay. Owner was very responsive to questions. Really appreciated the pet friendly policy.

Deferred maintainance- we have stayed here three times and love the location and owner (she allows our pups!) however, the home is not worth the price in its current condition:
- microwave have broken and jagged (since we were there in March)
- kitchen cabinets delaminating
- tub would not drain
exterior landscaping not maintained (gardners were there on our Saturday afternoon 3+ hours; loud)
-master bedroom (even allowing for the dogs) carpet heavily soiled)
-fencing in need of repair
-BBQ igniter non-functional
-plastic chairs around firepit unstable (one cracked)
We are not willing to rent again until most of these issues are resolved. Owner is SUPER cool but this was too much

The home was in a good location for the events we needed to attend. The house needs a deep cleaning. Floors filthy, fridge dirty. The bedroom bedding was new so that was nice.

We were mostly there in the evening because we ventured out all day to north and south journeys and destinations. Beds were comfortable and amenities were fine. Enjoyed toasting marshmallows in the fire pit after returning from the beaches

The property has two nice enclosed areas, including one along the front of the property with lots of space and a good sized patch of grass.
The inside was nice and definitely suited the needs of two adults with two large dogs.
I might suggest an upgrade or some tweaking to the reliability of the internet connection/router, and possibly some wall outlet updates to better accommodate mobile devices and computers. For example, power strips or table lamps with USB receptacles in some critical areas like next to the beds or couches. Also, power cords have a tendency to fall out of the wall outlets in the front room, dining area.

Great property tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood. Plenty of parking and amenities. Short 2 mile walk or bike ride to Morro Bay Embarcadero. Lani quickly responded to all of our questions and allowed us to check in several hours early! (Thanks Lani!). Everything in the property worked great and we had an awesome time. S’mores kit and the fire pit was a great touch! There is a great bar/restaurant about a 5 minute walk away with the kindest people running it. Super easy access to Morro beach just across the highway (10 minute walk). We had a great time, would easily book again.
