The breakfast was excellent, with many options like fresh local eggs and local fruits, house made granola, wonderful local bakery breads and locally made jams. The rooms were lovely and clean, and the shared spaces and outdoor space overlooking the water were great.
We didn’t have any issues at all, but I believe Lori would have been able to address anything that came up.

The suite is clean and very well appointed.
Lori was friendly, welcoming, helpful an all around awesome host!!
The location is great
Minor quibble - the suite does not have access to a view of the bay, somehow I thought it did. If you're staying in the house you have an awesome view :)

Great direction. Great, quiet, and beautiful location. Wonderful breakfast layout set up to serve yourself so no time pressure. Coffee was ready to make so I could make it at 4am when I woke! Comfortable, safe, kind…and a wonderful dog that never barked and loved on me as long as I let her!
Nothing. Everything was excellent.

The facilities and room were very nice, and clean. Location was convenient. The views were beautiful.
The room and bathroom were very small. The walls are paper thin, we could hear the guest beside us snoring. The owner of the inn, was drunk when we showed up, and were told that she collects payment when we left, IF we liked our stay. She then would call us everyday, to ask when we were going to pay, and we reminded her every time she called of what she said when we checked in.
There was no breakfast- even though it was advertised as having breakfast. The first morning we were there- owner was no where to be found, and we sat in the common area for about 30-45 mins waiting on “the home cooked breakfast” she had promised the night before. The last morning we were there, breakfast was fruit and cereal- we just left, without breakfast again.
Owner seems very confused, and very forgetful. Our stay was not the best.

We had a wonderful stay. This place is so nice and clean and the breakfast was very good. Lori is a great host - she knows all the good places to go. And we loved her dog Yarrow :)
Absolutely nothing to complain about.

Of all the places we stayed in Alaska, this was the most memorable. Lori, the host was very warm and welcoming. Our kid instantly clicked with her. She gave our kid books to read, activity books to work with, among other things. The dog Yaro was a good source of entertainment for our family. The breakfast was mostly the items you would have at home (bread, jam, oatmeal packets, waffles). It was self serve (make your own eggs sort of thing) but it was always there. So we could eat early or late and even have some of the breakfast items as a snack. The madeleines from the local bakery were amazing. The rooms were comfy. The location was nice - good views from the living room area. You will still need a car to go to the harbor to grab local food. All in all, we would highly recommend this place if you are staying in Homer.

The breakfast was plentiful with lots of options and use of the entire kitchen.
The owner had lots of great information for restaurants and the surrounding area. Homer Spit was very close and a fun place to visit and explore.

The bay view was amazing!! An eagle flew right in front of my window!! The owner and staff were so nice and accommodating. The selection of breakfast foods was great, and the additional fruit bowls were perfect for me. The location was great for a short walk or a quick taxi ride to the places of interest, and I really appreciated the host taking me to my bear tour and then to the bus pick-up point. I will definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone that is traveling to the area!
That I didn't get to stay longer and enjoy more of the area!

The quiet setting with a view; the owner; the dog; the comfortable feeling. The innkeeper accommodated our groups special needs and we were so grateful.
None of this was a deal breaker for us. We would stay again:
Perhaps due to covid, there was not a hot breakfast option unless you cooked eggs yourself. It's nice to cook what you want, but I'd rather have a few warm muffins or a few hot eggs made for me if I'm booking a B&B.
Upstairs bedroom needed a cloth or 1/4" roll to block out all summer light---blinds were just barely short. Also could hear music at night from the bedroom below. It wasn't loud, but a pair of earplugs would've been nice touch in that room because the rest of everything is so quiet and serene.

Comfortable, great location, lovely host. Slept great! Loved her dog Yara.
Rooms are on second floor so you need to be able to go up steps with luggage. But steps aren’t steep

This residence had a beautiful view and great location.
This isn’t a traditional B & B. As it was a help yourself, cook yourself facility.
Other B&Bs we have stayed in have been a little more hospitable for arrival and at breakfast times.
The room views were great, although you could hear folk in the adjacent rooms very easily.

Lori is such an exceptional host. The property was stunning- better than the pics. Moose and her calf in the front yard- view of the ocean and spit. Just absolutely lovely.

Great location one block off the highway right in between the town and the spit. Short drive out to restaurants on the spit and also super close to two different breweries. Everything was super clean and the owner was super friendly and helpful
