Exceptional

Location is beautiful. Back beach is about a 1 minute drive down the road. There were tons of shells washed up each day to pick! Also easy access for fishing. The hotel itself is nice with a beautiful view of the water. Stay was very comfortable. Front desk was helpful with guiding us to some local eats as well! Overall went for a quiet/peaceful trip and it was just that!

Good

AC unit loud and not very user friendly/responsive. Deck chairs were very odd, not comfortable. Way too deep for small or tall person, lack of privacy on deck. Deck screen door would not latch.

Worth off-season visit for sure

Close to historical Gloucester, ocean beaches, conservation area, dog bar lighthouse, Audubon trails, Charlie's Place takeout best seafood in town is a mile away, across from well-stocked supermarket. Room so comfortable, a permanent view of the sea right there.

Breakfast wasn't available first 2 days for some reason; but we dealt with it by getting a couple things from the supermarket nearby and making coffee in the room (real coffee starts at 7 at front desk). When breakfast DID start up, it was delicious (in paper bags) and abundant - muffin, yogurt, energy bar, fruit. Bathtub needs a new paint job but everything worked very well, plenty of towels and soaps.

Fantastic View

Everything I like. The coffee provided was delicious. I am very choosy & bring own but used theirs.

There is not anything I did not like. The place is gorgeous! Can't wait to return.
