We had a nice stay and the staff was great!

The location was central but on a busy street with not much interest. The food was very good, simple (eggs were cooked to perfection) but could have been a bit more creative. We are foodies who were there for the Roots, Rants & Roars food festival so not a fair comment ; )

Busy street, No landscaping (trees) or seating outside but it was late in the season so maybe in Summer there is.

Absolutely amazing and relaxing place to stay, convenient to all the cool places!

Staff was incredibly accommodating and pleasant. B&B was beautiful and room was comfortable, quiet and gorgeous. Breakfast was exceptional! We will definitely stay again when we return to the area.

There was nothing we didn't like.... only counsel was finding it on a very dark and stormy night was a little bit of a challenge. Maybe light the sign and/or say if you hit the grocery store, you just drove by it!

Nice but not great value

Clean comfortable rooms with a great bed. Nice well kept building. Basic breakfast included.

The house is by the main road into town beside a derelict building so not what we expected from the photos. Staff were nice but not very engaging.

Favourite Accomodation

Basically everything! Beautiful place, comfortable bed, nice washroom. Excellent hot breakfast, friendly staff. I would highly recommend this place.

Only issue was lost wifi connection for a bit but they were on top of it immediately.

Welcoming, comfortable, well maintained stay with an exceptional host

Everything was exceptionally clean. Bed was very comfortable and Brittany absolutely made our stay. She was so welcoming, kind and an excellent cook. A wonderful representative for Newfoundland.

Superb

Brittney was verybfriendly and efficient. The cookies were a lovely touch and yummy! Breakfast was good, although a bit more variety would be welcome (eggs 2 days in a row is a lot😁). Room was clean and comfortable and we loved being able to use the common area to read and relax.

The only drawback is the location. A bit far from the town core, and the view was of old trucks and a dollar store.

Excellent….probably the best place in Bonavista.

Breakfast was very good ……Britney was an exceptional hostess. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Only two other rooms were occupied, it still being early in the season. Good parking availability.

A little expensive for what it is. There is no view of any kind. The shower was interesting….ridiculously complicated…degree in Mech Engg required..!!!

Overall, a very nice accommodation. Comfortable and clean! Brittany was magical and incredibly friendly! The breakfast was great! Homemade toast and jam.

The room could have been bigger, but we knew that beforehand.

If you are a light sleep avoid this squeaky house

Was looking forward to a bath however the water was quite brown. No notice not to drink the water. The house stairs and floors squeak so you could hear the people above you. If you are a light sleeper this place is not for you. Breakfast was ok. Parking was great.

I asked to be moved to upper level but they were it concerned about me, they just wanted more money to move me. Not a good place for a light sleeper. When I booked it did not give me an option for upper floor. No tea or coffee available in the evening. No place to recycle water bottles so hopefully they sort them.

Jacuzzi ws linking water. Had to constantly replace water while sitting in jacuzzi. It seems that the washer in the outlet needs to be replaced

Fantastic stay at the Lancaster Inn with Barbara the host.

The location was easy to find, on the outskirts of town and a very quiet area. Barbara was there to greet us and made our stay fantastic. She recommended a few places in town to eat. We were approaching the low season for the Bonavista area, so it was hit and miss on what was open in town. Our room was on the main floor and beautifully decorated, and the entire house was exceptionally clean and well kept. Barbara's hot breakfast was incredible, even including hot fresh muffins, and fruit. It was like eating in a posh restaurant. I would highly recommend staying at the Lancaster Inn.

A comfortable stay in Bonavista

The room was large and had a good bed. The hostess was great and friendly. Breakfast was good.

Only that it wasn’t closer to the harbour.

Nice clean place with friendly staff.

Breakfast was good. Location was really good.

The room was overly damp and were not.able to open any exterior windows. Made it overly hot. When brought to the staff's attention, we were offered a pedistal fan to help with the temp bit was told the wondows will not open. Fire hazard??

Nice place to stay

Really lovely B & B that exceeded our expectations once we were inside. Barb was so lovely and helpful and the breakfast was great. Beautifully renovated, clean and comfortable.

The location is unusual, right in the main road as you are coming into town with a for sale sign out the front.

great place with exceptional hostess -

spotlessly kept by Barb, the lovely hostess; Elliston to see lots of puffins 30m away; close to Skerwink Trail for a fabulous coastline view

despite the sea breeze, it took a while to cool dow. the room on the 2nd level with electric fan on a hot day ( like 30C),
