Coming to LA to work or play you can unwind at the days end knowing we have provided a QUIET environment to relax in. "The Celebrity Hideaway" apartment is nestled high in the lush hills of Studio City in an upscale neighborhood. It's a one of a kind newly renovated 2nd story Apt. above the main residence with it's own private gated entrance and wrap around balcony to enjoy sunsets and sunrises. We are minutes from the major studios, Universal, Warner Bros, CBS & Paramount. The hiking trails in our neighborhood are minutes away with spectacular views of downtown LA, Hollywood, parks and surrounding mountains. We are in the middle of art & culture events, restaurants and fine dinning. Our place offers charm and hospitality to couples, solo adventurers, business travelers and small families for short or long visits.
Please Note that there is an extra guest fee if more than 2 guests stay with us.
The extra guest fee is $30.00 per guest per night.
FREE Parking in front of home.

This upstairs apartment with its own separate entrance is literally 10 minutes from most attractions you will find in Hollywood/LA. You are literally minutes from many stars homes, and the street itself is very safe and quiet for relaxation. The apartment comes with everything you need and groceries and other supplies are also nearby. The hosts are very nice to work with and provide any support you need. You will not be disappointed coming here as we may very well again in the future!

The place was great! It was very homey and comfortable, there was plenty of free parking, and the showers had the best water pressure I have ever experienced anywhere. The neighborhood was surprisingly residential and quiet, but there were shops and restaurants -- and great hiking -- a short drive away. Our host was very welcoming and full of good advice. We had no problems during our two-week stay and were sorry to leave.

Eileen was a most amazing and generous host. She is the perfect amount of attentive and thoughtful. The amount of consideration, love and care that clearly goes into the apartment is apparent, and we didn’t need to ask for anything from her the entire stay. We visit LA annually, and it was such a wonderful switch up to our usual hotel stays. This is the perfect home away from home. This was our first time using VRBO, and we have nothing but positive things to say about Eileen and her place. If you’re unsure of where to stay, and want to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city, but still be close enough to go out and enjoy it while you’re visiting—look no further! This is THE place! Thank you for an incredible stay!

We totally enjoyed our stay in studio city. Eileen was a wonderful hostess and the place was spotless. We stayed there for three days and three nights and it’s too bad that it rained the first two days as we were looking forward to sitting on the patio, enjoying the sunset., I would really encourage anyone to Strawley consider this property.

Eileen was an amazing host. She made us feel welcome from the get go and lots of special touches when we got there. She was very responsive to all our questions both before and during our trip. The place was perfect for our family of 4 and was close to everything. Studio city is adorable and there are tons of shops and restaurants close by. We will definitely stay here again.

Celebrity Hideaway was a fantastic home away from home! It was even prettier and more spacious than the pictures illustrated. Plenty of room for a family of four. Tucked away in the hills with a beautiful view! On street parking still felt safe as this is a very upscale neighborhood. King bed was very comfortable and young adult pull out bed was comfortable for young ladies. It was nice to have a warm bathtub to come home to. Two spacious bathrooms were great to allow for ample space to get ready for the day. And having a nice warm bath after a full day of walking around Disney was nice to come home to. It was nice to have fresh coffee, a bottle of wine and half and half creamer available. A Trader Joe’s, CVS and grocery story are just minutes away. Highly recommend the restaurant Granville just a few minutes away with the most fantastic Beef stroganoff! Hostess was very nice providing recommendations with a nicely prepared home guide book. 5 star recommendation!!

One word to describe Eileen is accommodating. I had to cancel my original trip last minute and rebook for another week. Eileen made it work so that I could have the same amount of time as before. The property was perfect for my brother and me. We had everything we needed. The location was central to where we wanted to explore. It was the perfect first trip to LA. Highly recommend Eileen!

We had a wonderful 3-night stay. The Hideaway was clean, safe, and comfortable. The location in Studio City was perfect for our plans, and having easy free parking in a quiet upscale neighborhood was great. Eileen was very welcoming and gave us some great tips for dinner and groceries, which we took her up on. We highly recommend the Hideaway for a small family visit to the area.

This property is in a stunning and extremely safe area of LA that’s very close to many attractions including Universal Studios, City Walk, Hollywood Walk of Fame, Warner Bros Studios and much more. Eileen is the kindest and most generous host! This property is immaculate with everything you need including extra thoughtful touches to welcome you and make you feel both at home and on a special vacation. We stayed with our teenage sons and we had plenty of space for all of us. We all loved staying here including our teens. We HIGHLY recommend this property!!! 10 stars! Thank you to Eileen for making our first visit as a family to LA a seamless and memorable one! :-)

My two girlfriends and I were looking for a cozy place to stay for our girls trip to LA and we couldn’t have asked for more at the celebrity hideaway. Eileen is so hospitable and really took care of us - down to providing us with a steamer (much needed for our wrinkled wedding guest dresses!). We had a lot of things planned, but found ourselves preferring to stay in one night to enjoy the views and peacefulness from the back deck. We can’t wait to come back!

Eileen is truly the best host! The house was super clean and cozy and the bed it a 10! Such a relaxing trip. The neighborhood is extremely safe, security guards patrolling constantly, and it’s in the best location. I will definitely stay here again, my family loved it. Best VRBO host to date! Amazing find. My daughter wanted to tour CalArts for her college choice. Found this property which was nicely priced, spacious accommodations, quaint setting, and perfectly located in quiet neighborhood but minutes from famous landmark attractions. Hostess stayed up late for us since we had a late flight arrival. And had coffee already there which was so considerate for our first morning there. I will look this property up first before searching for other options on my next trip to LA.

We used this apartment as the base for campus visits in SoCal. What a great place. Beautiful neighborhood and the unit was great for our family. Very comfortable throughout. Two bathrooms made everything easier when we were rushing out to the next visits. Loved sitting on the deck and enjoying the beautiful weather. Eileen was great and had some great ideas for restaurants and groceries nearby.

A spacious, clean and very comfortable apartment above our host's home in a quiet and safe neighborhood bordering the Hollywood Hills. We enjoyed the lovely view from our deck overlooking the greenery and wide expanse of hills behind the house. Stayed for a month and it was the perfect location for exploring LA. Eileen was the consummate host, welcoming and always available should you need anything. Highly recommended!

I stayed here with my son before dropping him off at college and really like it. It’s in a cool part of LA and close to some great restaurants and more. The unit is big and comfortable and the hosts went further than most to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The welcome we got was what I expect more out of a resort. And the views from the back deck are amazing.

Me and my husband had an incredible experience at this apartment. the host greeted us immediately upon our arrival and showed us everything we needed to know about the apartment, and she had a book full of instructions, restaurants that she recommended and a cold bottle of wine in the fridge. this apartment is perfect for 1 or 2 couples. it’s in a great area, with a fantastic view from the balcony. the apartment is bigger in real life and the beds are very comfortable. it also has 2 large bathrooms and a nice kitchen. it is within a 5 minute drive of nice restaurant, grocery stores, and anything you would need for your stay. the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. this stay would be my first choice when coming to los angeles again!

We had a wonderful time here at the "Celebrity Hideaway." The apartment was clean and comfortable. We appreciated the coffee, bottle of wine, and bottled water. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. The location is very close to Universal and many restaurants, shops, grocery stores and parks/hiking trails. Elieen was very helpful and made some great suggestions for hiking trails and restaurants. I highly recommend staying here.

Eileen is a wonderful host. She provided so many extra amenities and thoughtful touches! From extra soap and towels in the bathrooms to goodies in the fridge, we felt very well cared for. The house is cute, very clean, and in a lovely neighborhood. The view from the balcony is gorgeous.
