This cottage is beautiful and perfect for small families and getting ready for an even. The property is well taken care of, the layout of the house beautiful and the house is in a convenient spot for in town events. I could not have picked a better place for my wedding weekend. I will definitely keep this in mind for future stays!!

Beautiful area , nice walks every morning , nice yard to sit and listen to the birds , talk and drink our coffee/ wine in the evenings .. loved the basket of fresh eggs , sausage and bread left for our group to enjoy !!! Also the coffee was amazing ! We will be back !!! Beautiful town in million dollar neighborhood , restaurants and shops were so much fun. They had a acoustic guitar one Friday night that our party enjoyed !! It was a lovely visit and less than an hour to DC !

This cottage was perfect . Great location, we loved walking to town for dinner. The gifts from Chase were lovely, we ate the sausage straight away. Delicious! Top notch AC when you need to escape the heat and humidity. Nice relaxing seating area outdoors. Would highly recommend .

We did not expect such a nice place for the price within walking distance to Warrenton! Everything was wonderful and easy. Booking the cottage was simple, the hosts left all the makings for the most delicious breakfast, the cottage was much more spacious than we expected and we were able to go for long walks every day! It’s location was perfect! It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed and more! We will definitely be back:)

My wife and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary and really enjoyed the cottage. Upon arrival, we were greeted with some generous gifts of local bread, eggs and meat in the kitchen. We enjoyed the proximity to downtown warrenton restaurants and would definitely stay again.

Our group of two couples thoroughly enjoyed staying at this delightful cottage! It is bright, light, and airy inside with lovely, well-cared for outdoor space. After a busy day, the cottage was a welcome retreat. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and easily walkable to all the delights of Old Town Warrenton. Upon our arrival at the cottage, we found a dozen brown eggs and pork sage sausage patties from Warrenton’s Whiffletree Farm in the fridge and on the counter a loaf of delicious honey wheat bread and a bag of dark roast coffee beans (there is a coffee grinder at the cottage). Needless to say, we were more than happy to leave our box of cereal in the car and treat ourselves to two mornings of mouth-watering, locally produced treats. Thank you Chase for the goodies! At nighttime, everyone found the beds to be very comfortable, and we slept soundly. The cottage was immaculate and spacious for four people. We liked that one bedroom and full bath were on the first floor and the other bedroom and full bath were upstairs which gave everyone privacy. We were fortunate to be able to meet the homeowner of the property, Mike, when we arrived. He was gracious, friendly, interesting, and a pure delight! He rightly takes great pride in his property and his town, and we felt lucky to have had the opportunity to talk with him. All four of us highly recommend a stay at this property!

We enjoyed our long weekend stay at the property. We were able to walk to downtown Warrenton, what a great little town with history, restaurants and shops. The house was clean and well kept and Chase the property manager was easy to work with. We found fresh eggs and sausage in the refrigerator which was a very nice touch and a fresh loaf of bread. We would stay here again.

My second stay here, I was very impressed and pleased with my first stay here. My expectations for cleanliness are high, it’s a deal breaker where I choose to stay they deliver on that and much more. I’m relieved to have found this charming place to stay during my Va. visits.

What a lovely cottage in a quaint town. Great location and quiet area. Perfect for 4 adults very comfortably.

The beds were comfortable, the property was super clean, loved the claw foot tub. Nice touches of fresh sausage and eggs to cook in the morning and local coffee. Downtown area was great! Saturday night there was a band playing outside and we ate at Denim and Pearls. Wonderful rooftop seating and pleasant staff.

Three of us (my spouse and a friend and I) spent the weekend in this cottage, enjoying Warrenton and the surrounding area. Clean, quiet, good parking, attention to detail, and a friendly visit our first morning to make sure everything was good -- which it was. Comfortable beds, well-furnished kitchen, intriguing collection of books. Can't imagine how it could have been better.

Place was as described. Very clean and quiet. It was nice they had fresh eggs and sausage in fridge. Safe, historic neighborhood in close walking distance to restaurants, which was easy for our young kids to deal with. Good central location as we visited DC and Shenandoah. Nice rec center with pool within a 5 minute drive. Would easily stay again.

Unfortunately our vacation ended up being the same time as the pipeline shutdown/fuel shortage so we could actually go. Hope to stay sometime in the future

It was a perfect little home, much bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside, in a great location, only an hour drive to DC and a little over an hour to Shenandoah National Park!

The cottage was clean and very comfortable. It is located in a safe area within easy walking distance of shopping and restaurants in downtown Warrenton. Owner left a nice supply of organic eggs and sausage, coffee and bread. Would certainly stay again.

This was a great property in a great location. It was very clean, quiet and just what we needed. The owners were very nice and we will definitely use this property again in the future.

The cottage was perfect for my wife and I to get away for a long weekend. We were “stuck” indoors for most of stay because of poor weather, but we had planned to mostly cook in (COVID) anyway. We had everything we needed, including a surprise of breakfast food from our hosts. Roomy, clean and comfortable.

Just love old warrenton! Wonderful quiet town. Great for walking. Have yet to try any of the restaurants except enjoyed the beer and cider at Wort Hog Brewery! Really enjoyed being able to return to a house we felt so comfortable in! Hope we get more work in the area so we can come back! (:

My wife and I really appreciated that this cottage was located so close to downtown Warrenton. We walked to the cute little downtown both nights of our weekend stay and had excellent meals. The historic homes in the neighborhood are beautiful, and we loved how nice and quiet this property was.

We were a group of 3 adults who stayed here for 8 nights while we hiked in Shenandoah during fall. Every part of the experience from check-in to check-out was fantastic. Chase, the property manager was exceptionally responsive whether by email or text, and answered all our questions prior to arrival. We appreciated the welcome package (sausages, bread and coffee)! The cottage is on the same premises as the where the owner Mike lives, though the yard is so large and green with lots of trees, that it can feel like a place of your own. There are chairs and a swing, and watching the fall colors change during our week long stay was great. The kitchen is fully stocked with spices and non-perishable items. There are plenty of utensils, pots and pans including some for baking. The only item you might need to bring is scissors and a knife, though there are safety knives which were sufficient for us. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, 1 on each floor. The roof on the upper floor is a little low at places so would recommend the taller folks to stay below. There are towels provided. The main living room is roomy with a TV, couch, a dining table and chairs. We were working on the weekdays and the Wifi signal was great in all areas. The only issue we faced on one day was a temporary one with the thermostat, but Mike the owner who visited was very helpful and it got resolved. The location in Warrenton is very convenient - within 5 mins walk from Main St where they close the streets to cars at night and have live music on some days. There is also a public parking including a free Plugshare Tesla charging station beside Horner St. Would highly recommend the place either for a short term or long term stay for 3-4. It was one of the best cottage rental experiences we have had!

The owner is great and was very responsive. Exceptionally nice property yet only 2 blocks to eateries and brewery.

We really enjoyed our stay. Had everything we needed for a comfortable week. Especially enjoyed sitting outside in such a lovely property! Loved walking around old warrenton so many beautiful buildings and treasures! Appreciated so much the generous goodies upon arrival! Best breakfast sausage I ever had! Had the pleasure of meeting the home owner Mike, a wonderful person. He made us feel welcome and right at home! And chase is so helpful and made sure we were taken care of! Can’t wait to come back!
