About this house rental
Experience Sayulita the way it should be experienced, with Casa Jungla as your home base. If you want to be minutes from everything yet isolated in your own Jungle Compound, you have found the right place. Welcome home.
Before we chose to buy a home in Sayulita, we explored and stayed in every corner of this Village, from the beautiful resort-like North Side to aptly named Gringo Hill and in the view-rich South side. Everything was magical but we yearned to be closer. Closer to the shops and restaurants in town. Closer to the beach and surf breaks. Closer to the locals. Which is why we could not resist Casa Jugla. Steps from Avenida Revolucion, the excitement awaits. And an ACTUAL short 5 minute walk lands you on the beach. Close enough for you to leave your umbrella at the beach and return to grab that towel that you forgot from the Casa. All without the need for a car or a golf cart. Just don’t forget to pack your flip-flops.
The Casa
When you are ready to retire from the crowds and settle in for the evening, or you choose to stay home for a day, this place has what you need. Located at the end of the small street and behind a beautiful hand-built gate, Casa Jungla provides the privacy, security and serenity for your Sayulita escape. When you enter, you pass into the large courtyard where you can keep your surfboards, boogie boards and rinse off the sand from the beach in the outdoor shower. An upgraded water system, with increased water capacity and dependable hot water keeps you refreshed after a long day of shopping, surfing, or exploring. Up the stairs, your will find the bedrooms, complete with air conditioning for those warm Sayulita nights, hotel grade safe for your valuables, queen sized mattresses, sheets and towels and private baths with hairdryers and soap. Also, a private patio with fully equipped kitchenette and views of the Jungle and ocean beyond.
Downstairs, an ice cold drink awaits. The large dipping pool is the perfect place to hang with your family or friends and sip your drinks while the chef in your group works on the dinner feast in the large, fully equipped kitchen. New stainless steel appliances and endless counter space is a chef’s dream. And even though you are far from reality, all of the essentials are here for you: television with countless movies & sports, wireless internet, SONOS speakers and both a mini fridge for beers and a wine fridge for your wine located in the courtyard by the pool. There is also a murphy bed in the living room in case you need space for a few guests to spend the night.
Property Manager
The property manager does not live on site, but can arrange transportation to and from the airport. They are just a phone call or message away should you need anything, and eager to offer suggestions of things to do in Sayulita, and will stop by to help if there is a problem or collect recycling and compost.
Other items to assist in your stay
- No parties or events.
- May not be safe or suitable for infants under 2 years
- Be respectful of the neighbors, no parties or loud noise after 10 pm.
- No glass by the pool, and always rinse sand off with the hose in the courtyard before entering the house, or jumping in the pool as well.
- Be aware of conserving electricity and water, as we struggle to maintain water levels to sustain the whole town, especially throughout the dry season.
- Be conscious of not dumping sand loaded towels and clothing in the washer and dryer.

This place is amazing. Its a perfect example of tropical indoor/outdoor living feels like Mexico at the same time. The location couldn't be better. Its spotless, warm and inviting. And great communication with the owner was a bonus on top!

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Jungla! It was nicer and bigger in person - the pictures don’t do it justice. The location was perfect, steps from town and less than 5 minutes to the beach. The pool was perfect! We hope to stay there again soon!

The house is amazing. 1 block from all of the restaurants and shops, 2 blocks from the beach. Check in was very fast. Danni, the propery manager owns a juice bar 1 block away, so she came up to the house and got us checked in. The neighborhood seemed very safe. We had a couple of issues that arose that were out of their contr

Beautiful and loved the location! The only negatives were that we could have used more towels or the use of a washer and dryer to wash the few we had and had cleaning service to come in and empty the garbage and nonflushables. I would most definitely stay here again!

This is one of my favorite rentals I’ve ever stayed in. It’s beautiful and walking distance to the town center but just far enough away to escape the noise at night. There’s so much outdoor spaces which I loved and the rooms were very comfortable and spacious!

Great place for my daughter and I to stay for a surf vacation. Right in the heart of town but set back enough to feel private. Hanne was a gracious host and the house was beautiful.

Perfect location to be close to town and the beach but still quiet
This house is in a great spot to be minutes from everything but still peaceful. The decor and overall vibe is beautiful. We stayed with our 4 kids (ages 12-16) and were very comfortable. Caution for anyone who may have trouble navigating stairs (I.e. little kids, strollers, older folks or late night enthusiasts :-). Sayulita was bustling during our stay over Christmas but we could still easily get everything we needed. Easy trip to/from PV.

Great location
Hanne, the property manager, is fantastic! The house is perfectly located from the main plaza and beach. Internet worked great. The house even includes beach chairs, boogie boards and an umbrella. There are 3 fridge/freezers and 3 grills (1charcoal) at the house.

Our second stay at this Casa. Love it!
We stayed here last week, and were here exactly a year ago too. My first review pretty much sums up our opinion and stays the same. I would like to add that Sayulita around the dia de los muertos holiday is a wonderful time to visit. Lots of great stuff going on around town.

Convenient, Relaxing and Tropical
Casa Jungla was so close to downtown, that we walked there several times a day, back and forth to the beach, and the pool was so refreshing. My daughter got teary-eyed when we were about to leave. Such a hospitable owner and manager. We will definitely come back!

A Slice of Sayulita Heaven
My husband and I finally booked a kid free vacation and chose to visit Sayulita since the surf and paddling is so great there. And Casa Jungla was the perfect spot to stay in town. We spent one entire week sleeping in late and then taking the VERY short walk to the Square to grab food as needed. The “dipping pool” (as most homes describe it) is larger than we expected and we could both float around, reading and enjoying our cocktails. Best part? After a night of partying at the “swinging bar”, literally a bar that has swings and live bands, we were a two minute walk back to the casa. Everything was safe and secure, and their house manager Hanne, was a sweetheart and always available if we needed anything. We’ll be back yearly!

We had an amazing stay at Casa JUNGLA! The property was off the beaten path so you can enjoy your privacy while still being the perfect distance from the plaza, delicious restaurants, and the beach. The lay out is perfect, with a wonderful pool, and fabulous amenities. Everything was immaculate, we were very impressed to say the least. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful Retreat
Our stay at Casa Jungla was wonderful. The house is so warm and inviting. Our cares went away while we were there. It's a beautiful tranquil place. At the same time, it's located close to the lovely village and to the beach. Easy walk for shopping, dining, music, sightseeing, and the beach. Afterward it's great to get back to the privacy and comfort of Casa Jungla. Thank you Sergei and Amy!!

Sayulita gem and hideaway!
We had the pleasure of staying here a few weeks back. Just a wonderful Casa! Situated right up the hill from the main streets, shops, restaurants, beach and all the things Sayulita has to offer! It’s far enough though that it has a secluded feel. The house itself is beautiful and wonderfully equipped. Plenty of room for a group, and 2 really nice bedrooms with full baths. Downstairs living area and patio with pool are ideal spots to just kick back and relax! You’ll find everything you need here to have a great vacation. Plenty of shaded space around the casa itself, full kitchen, outdoor grills and refrigerators. Excellent 360 degree view from the roof top. One note, it is almost at the top of the hill and some stair climbing is involved. Not a big deal, but something to keep in mind. If you plan to mainly hang around town, you really won’t need a golf cart, but they are available right at the bottom of the steps if you do. The staff and neighbors here are wonderful and helpful people, as is the owner! We had a very nice stay and plan on returning in the future!

Amazing, Tranquil, and Close to EVERYTHING!
I am not sure where to start with this stunning property. Located in the heart of downtown, this gorgeous house boasts the best of what Sayulita has to offer. Less than a half of a block from downtown, you are able to take a quick walk to anywhere you possibly could want to be! The best restaurants, shops, and the beach is only a few streets away. While the property is close to downtown, you are just removed enough to enjoy this relaxing and private house.
The house itself is rather new with updates throughout. When you walk into the patio level, there is a great pool perfect for relaxing and socializing. The rooms are large and the kitchen is open and perfect for gatherings with family and friends. All of the modern comforts your could want and very well decorated! And the views!!!!
The owners and amazing people! Super helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We could not have been more thrilled with the location, people, property, and entire experience! We cannot wait to comeback and this place was a huge highlight of our stay. We simply could not recommend this place more!!!!!

Amazing house in an amazing place
What an amazing house. The set up is perfect. The bedrooms upstairs are great and private. The bathrooms and showers were awesome. The downstairs and living areas are very comfortable. Loved cooking in the beautiful kitchen and spending our time in the pool.
The pool area is worth everything. We have stayed in other places in Sayulita before and this pool is awesome. When it is really hot this pool stays a little cooler due to its location at the house. This makes it even more relaxing. The pool is bigger than a typical plunge pool as my kids were able to play with rafts in the pool the entire stay and had a blast.
The location of the house can't be beat. A 1 minute walk to the heart of downtown Sayulita, yet still quiet at night unless you venture up to the roof to hear the music at night.
We cannot wait to come back to Casa Jungla again. It was the best three days of my family's life.
