The Chelsea pub and inn is quirky and unusual. If you’re looking for a small, friendly and niche place to stay in Atlantic City then I could recommend here.
There’s no elevator and the steps in and staircase is steep and narrow.

Ambience was great. Decorated well
Breakfast was mediocre due to poor staffing. Many items were not replenished when utilized.
Room shower was not enclosed with very poor water pressure.
Lighting in room was poor. Due to mirror and plug location was very difficult to use hairdryer.
An available hot water dispenser for making tea was not adequately supplied with cups.

Breakfast was exceptional. Our 2nd room was recently renovated with a walk-in shower, foot tub was huge and ideal for soaking. 1st room was fine but we were spoiled with the 2nd room.
Steps but you have to realize this place is about 160 years old and does not have elevators. Not really a complaint just an observation

Location was good and the staff were very accommodating also the food was so darn good.
They forgot to clean out the fridge from whoever stayed before us - but other than that it was ok - I still tipped housekeeping before I left.

Very cool historic decor. Very clean & very nice staff. Breakfast was perfect.
Location was sketchy. All night Pub drew ppl in literally all night. We arrived home @1:45 am. Our room was by the parking lot which there was loud music /yelling till morning. Needless to say we did not sleep. Not to mention that Booking.con overbooked this place and we literally got the last room that was extremely small with only one full bed. The place was very nice so it made up for the no sleep. Keep in mind the Pub downstairs is open 24/7 so it draws in late night stragglers.

Clean, unique, great location
No elevator

The building is beautiful and the room was spacious, well stocked and extremely comfortable. Great shower, very clean. Quiet too. The decor is fantastic, and I particularly loved the library and vintage AC photos & posters. Great air conditioning in the rooms. Drinks in the pub were great and the steak salad was delicious! Atmosphere was great.
Just a few things to note: the pub is not 24/7 all week. It's only from Friday until Monday 3am. Also the breakfast is only a continental during the week. We stayed on a Sunday night, and breakfast Monday morning was limited. Also, I didn't see an elevator. Not a problem for me, but something to be aware of if you have issues with steps. Pub food was mostly fried, but there are a few salad options and grilled chicken.

Love the quietness and staff was nice

I was not able to have breakfast because the opening time was at 8:30. Unfortunately the area looks dodgy. Outside the pub there were people with drugs. We actually tried to walk around during the night but decided to go back. The accommodation itself is not a bad place but it was not what I expected considering the price.

The rooms were beautiful. The breakfast was amazing. There's a 24/7 pub/grill right downstairs that's part of the inn. Excellent water pressure in the showers (no hard water). If you choose a 2 queen bedroom, each has its own TV and AC. (It's sectioned of to give a bit more privacy.) The mini freezer/fridge is top tier. And because it's officially a historical landmark, there are no kids under 12 allowed. So if you want a quiet, grown-up stay, this is the place. The beds... excellent!!! There's a Dunkin' Donuts and 7-ELEVEN on the corner. And it's right near one of the bus station pickups.
There was absolutely nothing I didn't like. It was the perfect stay.

Historic memorabilia . Beautifully decorated.
Drunks sitting and laying on sidewalk in front of entrance upon return to inn around 11:45 pm. Parking lot has cameras but not secure . Groups of people ( 25 -30) wandering thru lot observed from our window all night.

This was on of the best hotels I stayed at. The hotel is located very close to the beach and right next to the tropicana hotel. Everything was walking distances, I didn't have to move my car at all. The staff here was very nice my BF and I have the best time in this hotel even though we aren't early birds and couldn't enjoy the breakfast they served, we still loved this hotel the vibes were amazing and its very put together. This hotel is a historic spot which for me is amazing I love exploring historic spot and I had the best pictures to for memories that I took here.
literally everything was amazing ill be back here very soon.

The whole Inn was awesome, staff was super nice. Having the pub below was great too! I highly recommend this place and would gladly stay there again. But other then that, it was great! We really loved the stay.
The only downside was the AC in the room. It was super noisy.
