Nestled in the picturesque Kendall Camp community atop Wisp Mountain, this ski retreat is the ideal spot for a winter getaway or relaxing summer vacation. The high-end finishes in the kitchen and bathroom create a luxurious cabin feel with comfortable furnishings for an impressive home away from home. Warm up after a day on the slopes in the spacious living room or spend time with family and friends around the community fire pit. WISPer is the mountain retreat that will have you coming back year after year!
ACCESS DETAILS:
SKI IN/OUT ACCESS: Home is located approximately 110 yards to Chair 4 and Chair 5 with access to beginner, intermediate and expert slopes. Ski-in/ski-out properties dependent on slope availability. Slope availability does vary throughout the season. Visit Wisp Resort's website for slope conditions.

Located in the Kendall Camp Community at Deep Creek Lake.
**Due to renovations, the CARC will be closed from March 13th through April 13th. This home comes with free access to the Community Aquatic Recreation Center (CARC)! This fitness and wellness complex, located in the central Deep Creek Lake area, offers a modern gym and a full-size indoor pool. The free CARC membership is available to all guests in the home for the duration of your stay, up to the home’s full occupancy.

NOTE: A copy of the contract holder's Photo ID, a signed contract, and a list of your full travel party (names/ages of all attending) will be required to complete your booking. If booking last minute, you may be required to stop by our main office to show your photo ID and the credit card used on the reservation. Besides check out it was a good stay. During check out there was an accident trying to leave the property due to weather that the management office was not helpful with a late check out. Otherwise great property!

Overall, the property was beautiful. Unfortunately we had several issues almost immediately. The biggest disappointment was that the hot tub wasn't working properly. The jets were basically just cycling, not producing your typical hot tub bubbling. We called multiple times and although they were quick to respond, they never corrected the problem. There were issues with the back door, one of the showers was clogged and the top of the microwave fell off when we opened it. Nothing really major, more of an inconvenience.
The space itself was perfect for our family and our dog. The community is VERY pet friendly and I would highly recommend it for anyone with a dog.
If you are there in the winter, the location seems to be perfect for ski in ski out access. Not so much for the lake - as in you wouldn't know there was a lake - you have to drive to a lake access area. None of this is a big deal if you are looking for a quiet, family friendly atmosphere, which is what we wanted.

Beautiful house lots of problems.
All though the house was beautiful,There were a lot of problems, we had no water pressure for 24 hours . Plumbing issues with the toilet and the garbage disposal which didn’t work and backed up garbage in the sink. The place was pretty dirty. Also when we went to use the indoor pool let us know that the membership was expired.

The hot tub did not work, of which they notified us days before the trip. The balcony off the owners suite HAD FALLEN OFF THE HOUSE and was left to sit as a safety hazard just behind the house. They sent an unannounced, and UNMASKED repair man to our front door to look at the hot tub. Didn’t fix it and could bother to tell us he was leaving. Emailed them twice regarding these issues and never even received a reply. Final straw was a broken dishwasher.

Luckily a neighbor gave us the correct code. No wood was provided to us for the community fire pit. I was told after that we needed to order it. House was nice. Location was great.

WISPer is a lovely place. A short drive down the hill to rent a boat and a perfect location to walk and relax after a day on the lake. We were reluctant to rent a place that was not lakeside but this worked out better. The house was clean and well furnished and perfectly suited for a larger group.
We will definitely be back and maybe try to rent in the winter.

WISPer is a lovely place. A short drive down the hill to rent a boat and a perfect location to walk and relax after a day on the lake. We were reluctant to rent a place that was not lakeside but this worked out better. The house was clean and well furnished and perfectly suited for a larger group.
We will definitely be back and maybe try to rent in the winter.
