Our summer stay had everything our family and two dogs needed. Well appointed kitchen and lovely private feeling wrap around deck with a propane grill. WiFi worked really well, so we didn’t miss cell service. Comfy beds and pullout sofa, and even found an inflatable mattress in the closet that our youngest was very happy on. Wasn’t clear what to do with pet waste, so we deposited that at can outside clubhouse. Manager was responsive to our questions.

Close to Artist Point atop Mt. Baker. One of the best hot tubs in any rental. The kitchen had everything you could need to cook with a nice BBQ grill.

Stayed for the weekend for some local hikes. Clean cabin with a great kitchen, definitely one you can cook in. Comfortable beds and shower. Will stay here again.

We loved staying at the cabin. Amazingly equipped kitchen, comfy beds and plenty of room for 5 of us to spread out. 2 comments- no hair dryer and the laundry soap has a very strong smell( huge dislike for 4 out 5 people). Otherwise great place. Would recommend

The cabin is in an excellent location, close to Mt Baker ski area. The property managers responded to all my communication very quickly. The directions to get into the home were clear. There were 6 of us and we had plenty of room. The house was very clean and the hot tub was the perfect temperature (and clean). We all agreed that we would easily stay at this property again.

Nice cabin in the woods, a good getaway for skiing at Baker.

Hubs and I (and the dog) stayed for a weekend and absolutely loved it! Perfect little cabin in a private area of Glacier with huge windows looking out into the woods. Hot tub was great. Couch and beds were comfortable- couldn’t ask for more! Note: read the fine print of the check in process. You need to pick up the keys in a lock box about 10 minutes away at a gas station. We arrived late at night and had to turn back to get the keys.

Was a laid back get-away for my partner, her mother, and myself. The property is remarkable. We have visited a number of VRBO properties and found this one to be the most equipped from kitchen appliances & utensils to bathroom facilities and necessities. Not to mention the Hot Tub on the deck was an added pleasure! Thank you for making our weekend one of the most pleasant getaways we have had.

The property is very nice and well appointed for a weekend's stay. There were 4 of us, up to 5 or 6 would be comfortable. The hot tub was a nice plus after a day of skiing. The entertainment system was impressive, though a little tough to navigate for an old guy like me. My wife believes her experience could have been improved by a hair dryer in one of the bathrooms. Thank you for a fabulous weekend.

We had a great stay at River Run cabin. Very clean and comfortable. Nice outdoor space and quiet area to walk at night. Even saw a few deer early in the morning having coffee outside. Easy check in process. Loved it!

Wonderful peaceful space
This cabin is much nicer than expected. I was looking for a quiet space to work from home while enjoying the outdoors. This place was perfect! Space was large and clean and the bedrooms have private space. The Wi-Fi worked great and was able to go out and hike after work and enjoy the area. The rental agency was quick to respond and gave all necessary info to make the stay easy.

Narnia Snowglobe Christmas
This was a lovely place to spend a few days with our family. Looking up from the hot tub at the the starry sky as the river provided its commentary on its journey from the alpine heights was quite relaxing. There were ample walking options for those who stayed back with the infant and dogs. We did lose power during our final night, and a key hill in the subdivision was unplowed, which made for a challenging checkout since we had 18-24 inches of fresh snow. It needed the combined efforts of our group and another group of guests who were also trying to check out to get their and our vehicles pushed out of the problem area.

Great family getaway
The cabin was just right for our family - 2 couples, a toddler (2) and infant (2 months) plus 2 dogs. The 2 bedrooms were very spacious, allowing for extra room for the young children. We were also surprised to find a toddler mattress and a pack'n play.
The location was perfect for taking walks as it was on a private and quiet road with access to a trail that led to the river.
During the rainy spells - we were kept busy with the many DVD movies, and the sophisticated entertainment system that gave us access to music (bluetooth connection to our phones), and streaming applications. The kitchen was also surprising with it's Jenn-Air range - perfect for our roast chicken!. All and all a pleasant stay.

Nice and cozy cabin. Close to some nice hiking trails.
Family including our dog enjoyed this cabin. It is well kept. We had access to a bunch of board games and movies to kill time in the evening once we were back from our hike. It was hot over the weekend and it would have been nice if the cabin had A/C, however we were provided with portable fans for each room which

Cabin stay
Had a great experience at this cabin. Great communication with home owner, available by email and phone. Expected unseasonably hot weather so they delivered us extra fans! Home is extremely well equipped for cooking meals. Recommend bringing some food, the town has some but not a ton of food options. The hot tub area is very private. Our son really enjoyed the surprise of a video game console. Look forward to returning next year. Although we were not able to bring our dogs on this trip, the dog fee is very low and hope they can join us next time. Thank you!

Beautiful location
Nice house in a very private location- I chose it because it was away from the road and near the river and it does feel like you are in the middle of the forest. Can't see the river (at least in summer) but you can hear. Not a lot of access to the river but there is a public path to the river about 1/4 mile away. House is comfortable, great beds.

Beautiful basecamp for summer hiking
Two bedrooms with bathrooms, perfect for two couples. Spacious and fully equipped. Hot tub and BBQ. Close to many great summer hikes. Excellent book collection. DVDs too.

Overall wonderful
Beautiful, comfortable, enjoyable.
A few notes: some of the cookware and dishes did not seem clean. The light was out above the kitchen sink. There was a big wine drip that hadn't been wiped off the drawers left of the kitchen sinks. I did wipe it myself, but was surprised it had been missed by the cleaning crew.

Great Baker getaway
Cool cabin nestled in the woods. It’s slightly more private than other cabins in the neighborhood. The jacuzzi gets nice and hot which was perfect after a day on the slopes. Would stay here again definitely.

Cozy Cabin close to the Ski Resort
What an awesome weekend getaway! The hot tub was WONDERFUL. It needs some cosmetic repairs but the temp, and water pressure makes the experience perfect. The inside of the cabin gets nice and toasty. All the DVDs and xbox games are a nice touch. We would definitely stay in this cabin and the other cabins look just as inviting! Near grocery store and several hot food choices nearby!

The house was great for our stay, close to the amenities of Glacier (Restaurants/Coffee Shops/Ski Store and Groceries), and easy access to the Baker Ski Areas. A couple minor things that might want to be looked at before next renters arrive.1. Looks like the can opener is non functional, maybe the cutting piece is broken off? not a big deal, I always have a multi tool with a can opener on it :)2. My sons followed the directions provided on how to work the Entertainment Systems, but could never get the Xbox 360 to work. Again, not a major problem, we were there to relax, ski, and enjoy the beautiful setting,, but next folks may want that to work. 3. I found a broken saucer in the cabinet, large chunk missing out of it. I looked around in the cabinet and dish washer for the chunk, didn't find it, so I just tossed that. Incase you inventory dishes etc. that's what happened. 4. We use rental houses a lot for our vacations, and we are big grillers, one thing I really appreciated was the extra bottle of propane. We didn't grill that much this visit, but that's a positive detail I noticed :)Thank you for making the property available, we'll recommend it, and would gladly stay there again.

Lovely private cabin
This cabin is well-built and well-stocked with movies and games. Very charming and quite private. Although there are other homes in the vicinity, this cabin is on a large lot and it feels like the neighbors are far away. Perfect for a family of three or four. A few little annoyances: the curtains don't actually cover the windows which allowed for too much light to enter in the mornings. Also, the shower handle in one of the bathroom was broken. But, these small annoyances didn't diminish our enjoyment of this lovely cabin.

Glacier
This is a nice property for a small group to stay. It is in a development but has a nice private feel to it. There was a problem with the property that required resolution when we checked in. The property manager could not have been more responsive in taking care of the issue. The same manager handles numerous properties in the Glacier area, and I would recommend doing business with her company.

Nice cabin.
It was a nice cabin in a tucked neighborhood on our way to Baker. The host/management company was extremely helpful when we struggled to get the gas stove working at 10pm.

Lovely cabin in the woods
The cabin was lovely especially inside. The layout and decor was simple and very attractive. Outside was wooded and peaceful. The hot tub was great and felt so good after our 8 mile hike at Mt. Baker. We were very comfortable and I would highly recommend this sweet little cabin.

Lovely, lovely place!
This is a beautiful cabin, super-nicely appointed, on a lovely piece of property surrounded by trees! We loved the kitchen, bedrooms, baths (two bathrooms is a much-appreciated luxury!), and open feel of this home. It's in a nice, gated community, which gives an added feeling of security. I guess the only thing we missed was the lack of cell phone reception and wi-fi, but on the other hand, this added to the feel of "away-from-it-all". We would definitely stay here again!

Loved this place!
The place was clean, well-equipped with dishes and towels, and had a really nice gas grill on the porch that we used to cook some awesome steaks. The hot tub got a lot of use, too! We'll be back!!

Good base for exploring Mt Baker area
The place was clean and well provisioned, wonderfully peaceful and very spacious. It got a little warm on sunny days in the afternoon as there were no curtains to block the afternoon sun but the overhead fan helped somewhat. Having the key drop off in Maple Falls was a little inconvenient on the last day as we felt obligated to return the keys there on check out even though we wanted to head up to Artist's Point (in the opposite direction). This was a 15 mile round trip addition to our day's start. Didn't particularly care for the cleaner's tip envelope prominently displayed on the counter.
Glacier's eating is somewhat limited - we ate at Milano's Italian restaurant one night. Good but not outstanding. (The servings were so big we boxed up the leftovers and had that for dinner the next night!) We also tried Graham's which was pretty much a burger and beer place with no a/c...not our favourite. The coffee shop Wake'n Bake was great!
The location is about a 30 minute drive to Artist's point but there aren't places much closer, so it was well situated. Having the Glacier Service centre nearby was helpful for hiking information, weather forecasts, snow conditions etc.
Overall it was a pleasant experience

Loved this getaway!
Myself and two friends rented this cabin for two nights for a girls' weekend, and it was wonderful. We took nearly every meal on the deck, gazing out into the woods. We kept hearing a thumping sound, starting slow and getting progressively faster. A little YouTube action later revealed videos of the male ruffed grouse, beating his wings and making that exact sound! Would've been awesome to actually SEE him, but hearing him was pretty great. One of us was awakened in the night by two does nibbling the grass under her window. :-) The cabin was clean and well appointed, except for some pet hair we noticed on the sofas. This did NOT bother us--we did not bring pets this time but are glad to know they are welcomed here--however if a guest had allergies might be good to be aware of. The cabin had pretty much everything we needed for the weekend for cooking and staying comfortable. There is a nice supply of movies and games, along with easy to find extra blankets and linens. The hot tub was great, as was the fireplace. The time was not long enough! I slept a night on the futon in the living room and loved the huge windows with the moon shining through! The sound of the river close by is just so relaxing and wonderful. The wood interior makes it really feel like a cabin in the woods! Would definitely stay again if given the chance.

Fantastic Mt. Baker Cabin!!
My husband, a friend of ours and our Australian Shepherd pup stayed at this fantastic property near Mt. Baker for 2 nights. We had an absolutely wonderful weekend!! We were looking for a place to stay near the slopes of Mt. Baker for a ski trip over the weekend when I happened upon this gem.
All 3 of us were really impressed with the accommodations, provided entertainment (DVD and board game collection) and overall cleanliness of the property. The property is even better than it appears in the photos online. The beautiful craftsmanship of this home is only one part of the reason we loved it so much. Despite the fact that it is relatively small in square footage, it doesn't feel tiny at all! The beautiful, vaulted ceilings and ample windows bring in a ton of natural light, making the spacious kitchen, dining and living rooms feel even roomier. The picturesque wrap around, composite wood porch offers a great place to grill tasty BBQ and use the hot tub for some luxurious relaxation after a long day of skiing. You can even see part of Mt. Baker while you're relaxing in the hot tub! There are 2, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms that include everything you'll need for your stay. The drive to skiing is a short 15-20 minutes from the property. There are plenty of nearby small grocery/corner stores as well as some great little breakfast spots with tasty coffee and breakfast burritos that provided much needed "fuel" for us on the mountain.
My husband and I have stayed at a large number of places, including VRBO rental properties and this one was definitely one of the best so far. If you're considering booking.....do it!! I can honestly say, you will NOT be disappointed with this rental. My husband and I will definitely be staying at this wonderful log cabin again for our next Mt. Baker trip!!
