This charming house was a great place to base out of for our trip to visit family and enjoy the Coast Guard festival. The house was well stocked with extras like coffee, shampoo tooth paste detergent etc. location was near the water and has kayak and inflatable paddle boards

This is our second time here, and this time we brought our college kids. We had the best time. The new beds are awesome! Super cute paint job made it feel bright and fun. Everything we needed is here. No dishwasher gave the guys some father/son time while washing and drying. The grill and patio made for wonderful al fresco dinners. Thank you for sharing your sweet home!

Great spot! I stayed for a few weekdays to play in a golf tournament in Spring Lake. It was great to be able to bring my dog. Cute house. The house had everything I needed. Clean, comfy and close to everything in Grand Haven too! There is a great bike trail right near the house. They allow dogs on a nearby beach before 11am and after 5.

We had a delightful long weekend with our dogs. The fenced in backyard and great deck made it a perfect spot any time of day or evening to relax. The cottage is a short block from Spring Lake and a 10 minute drive to Grand Haven’s downtown and beaches. Great communication with owners and we hope to visit again!

A quaint little place, close to everything we love about the area. Nice little yard for our show dogs, easy hop to Lake Michigan beaches, good eats abound, and the bike trails are fabulous.

We’ve been going to this property on an annual basis for 7 years and love it.

Great property and amenities. Really easy to get to and all the games, information was fantastic.
The property was close to all areas and served us well for the weekend for the soccer tournament.

I stayed at this house with my husband, 2 dogs, 2 kids and their 2 friends (13-14 yrs old). It was in a wonderful location, short distance to all the area has to offer. The neighborhood is quite and the neighbors were very nice, even helpful when using the kayaks and paddle boards. The house overall had everything you would need! The backyard was WONDERFUL for my 2 dogs and completely fenced in.. The only suggestion I would have is getting a bigger bed in the downstairs bedroom... everything else was 100% spot on!!

The house was nice and cozy. All the neighbors we met were so sweet. Within walking distance to so many places. Owner is responsive.

Enjoyed our stay and the location. Fit our family of 4 just fine and we were able to host a full Thanksgiving dinner for local family with no problem. The kitchen worked out great. Enjoyed walks and runs around the water and marinas. Very quiet neighborhood.

House was overall clean and updates to the bathroom were nice. We were comfortable there. Only update would be to provide more towels. We had 5 people total (within the house range) but only 4 towel sets provided.

On the positive side, this was a pretty decent property in a nice, quite location. Pretty cozy on the inside with nice fixtures and fun toys for the kiddos. My biggest complaint is the bed in the main bedroom. It has a small (Full), old spring mattress where you can feel your partners every movement and you're constantly bumping into each other. I wouldn't stay here again until that is changed out for a decent Queen. Also, the Fire stick didn't work and the Roku was extremely out of date. These are cheap and should be kept up to date.

Great stay for a few days

We were a family of 5 adults and the time spent was very comfortable! We enjoyed the back deck morning and evening.
Spring Lake was very close to bring the kayaks that you had available and wheels to roll them down the short street. Having so many things available was great!
Listing them on the site would help!
We love Grand Haven, so it was close enough to bike or drive quickly and spend the day!
Thank you for helping us have an enjoyable time with our family!

We were in town for a specialty veterinarian visit and this house was in the perfect location (around the block from the clinic). Though our stay was short the house was comfortable for the three of us and our fur babies.

We’ve been guests at this property many times and are always very pleased.

We needed accommodations for a weekend baseball tournament. This was a perfect place for us. Bonus we could bring our dog!

The house was in a great location for activities in and around Grand Harbor. Very quiet neighborhood. House was well furnished and very clean. Check-in/out process painless. Overall, great place to stay! Two minor items to note. With no cable TV, note the Roku has not been upgraded and we had some difficulty/limitations on accessing newer streaming content). Secondly, the lock on the sliding door in the back bedroom needs to be repaired. A broom stick in the door track is being used to keep the door from being opened from the outside.

House was super cute and cozy. Appreciate the cleanliness and access to cleaning products! Had plenty of bedding, towels and TP. We loved the stainless steel table in the kitchen. Plenty of room to spread out. Perfect stay for our family with our pooches for a family wedding weekend!

We really enjoyed this cabin. So close to the lakes, well appointed for a family with kids, and nice updates throughout. Mattresses and utensils are the only things I thin that could make it more enjoyable

Overall very nice but since the weather wasn’t great we were inside more than we had planned. The space is tight for 4 adults and one baby and with only one bathroom… we could have used at least one more comfy chair in the living room (rocking chair and dining chairs were not comfortable) and definite upgrades are needed for beds and pillows. The kitchen was perfectly supplied and there was so much stuff for the small child to play with. Overall it was a nice short trip.

Walk to many things. Bikes would be ideal.

Had a wonderful getaway! Cute house! Kids loved walking to playgrounds!

A great place to rent with our two dogs for our short vacation. Cozy, quiet home with easy access to all the fun activities in the area.

My husband and I stayed at Dixie Street for a week with our 3 kids (7 yo and 2 yo twins). Overall, we had a great stay. The location is excellent. It's in a quiet community with the lake at the end of the street. Close to downtown Spring Lake and walking/bike trails. Only 2 miles from Grand Haven. A short drive to Holland or Grand Rapids. We had a great time exploring everything the area had to offer. The house is very kid/family friendly which was great. The backyard is fenced in and they had lots of toys/ games for the kids. Having a washer and dryer was a huge plus. Some suggestions for improvement would be to upgrade the kitchen amenities. As a family with young children, we cooked the majority of our meals at the cottage. The quality of the pots and pans and kitchen utensils was so low that I found it difficult to cook. They had what we needed and we made it work, but everything seemed to be dollar store quality. There is no dishwasher which we didn't realize until we got there, but we made it work. Also, the bed in the downstairs bedroom was uncomfortable. These are not things that ruined our stay, just suggestions for improvement in the future. Overall we had a great time and made wonderful memories here. Thank you!

Outdoor patio needs a little love.
Would stay there again.

It was a perfect cottage for a perfect week in Grand Haven for my family!!!! The house was well stocked with all the amenities of home. It was very clean. The one time I reached out to Stephanie for a quick question she responded to me immediately. I hope to rent this home again!!!

This property worked well for our family and was a great location near our friends who stayed at the Holiday Inn. We were so grateful to have our dog there too. Thank you!

Stayed 2 nights on our way home from Traverse City. Quiet neighborhood and comfy beds for all 4 adults! Great to relax and have a couple lazy days with our sons. Stephanie was very responsive & accommodating with our arrival & departure times.

First, the things we liked: they went above and beyond to accommodate kids, and my kids really liked that. That had lots of games, toys and movies. Also, the fact that they stocked the shower with full-sized soaps and shampoos made the home feel more hospitable. Same goes for the laundry room and basic kitchen necessities. Unfortunately, the negatives outweighed the positives here. Immediately upon entering the home we noticed an odor, like a wet dog or maybe just generally dirty odor. It only took a few minutes longer for us to notice how dirty the floors were. The kids’ socks were black within 30 minutes. We found a large amount of food and debris when we swept the main living areas. Thick dust covered the sconce shades and ceilings. Also, there was no air conditioning upstairs (contrary to what was shown in the photos), and the one fan they did have was broken. I had to purchase a fan so my kids could sleep up there. There’s not enough comfortable seating in the living area for a whole family to sit and watch television. Overall the home was very shabby, unkempt and dirty. It wasn’t what we expected for the price at all.

Girl's weekend get-away. Great location. Very cute and clean. Well stocked. Slept 4 comfortably. We brought bikes as our mode of transportation to Grand Harbor beach, light house, and stores. Highly recommended! Easy bike ride there and avoided the major traffic jams and parking hasales in Grand Harbor.

The size and layout of the property was just as described but it was not clean. I cleaned the oven and cooktop because it was unusable and set the fire alarm off. There was dirt in the track of the slider, cobwebs on all the lights. The bathroom was lovely. No cable tv (roku only) was a total cheap out . The garage sale flatware is also a negative. The whole place needs paint especially the ceilings... the rusty hooks in the ceiling are not a plus. We were there for 6 wks and a weekend renter would let a lot of this go but net net if you are in business be in business and put out a quality product.

We had a great stay at the cottage however the standard of cleaning was very low. Kitchen and bathroom were ok but the living room and the bedrooms were not. The floor in the living room looked like it hasn't been mopped or hoovered in weeks. The same goes for the bedrooms. Dogs hair everywhere. Dust everywhere. The cottage has a great potential, we loved the kids corner and all the toys provided but it does need a deep clean and then proper cleaning after each guest.

We enjoyed our stay very much and were so happy our puppies could join us!

We had a great stay at Dixie Street. The backyard was a huge plus for our kids and dog. The host was quick to respond and take care of any issues.
