This was a great place to be close to everything. It's a short walk to the boardwalk and beach. And a little longer walk to the bay. The apartment was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, linens and towels were god quality and the kitchen had everything we needed. We had great weather and spent most of our time on the comfortable couch on the spacious patio. There were plenty of beach towels and we loved having boogie boards and beach chairs to use in the garage. The bikes were a little funky, but we found 2 that worked and had fun riding them on the boardwalk and bike paths. I wish the description was more clear that there is another rental unit above you. There were people staying in the upstairs unit that weren't the best neighbors, but we still had a great time. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this place.

My family stayed here for three nights in August and it was perfect! The location was ideal for our time on the beach and walking Mission Beach. The deck was perfect to sit out on and the layout was just what we were looking for. What really set this stay over the top for us, was all of the thoughtful amenities available. We were able to use boogie boards, beach umbrellas, beach chairs and bikes to enjoy our time (and we really did)! I loved the water bucket to clean off our feet after the beach and the towels available. A huge thank you for this great stay!

As advertised, steps to two beaches and short walk to Belmont park. Communication very easy with the host (Susie) . Everything you need for a week long stay to remove some stress travelling with a young family (kids 8 & 10). Great location and amazing place.

The host was very responsive to our needs. Went out of her way to help. Good location, easy walk to boardwalk ocean side and bay side. Well equipped kitchen, lots of bikes, beach chairs, beach umbrellas. Everything you need. We had a very comfortable stay

This was the second time we stayed at this property. Myself, husband, and daughter drove in from Vegas to enjoy the beach and cool weather. We flew my mother in from Tucson to join us for the week. A great time was had by all. Thanks again :)

The property was exactly has described. Clean, easy to access the provided beach supplies and bikes. The four of us had a great time all around. Would come again.

This was our (my) second time. First time in 2022, was the first trip with my older daughter and this time with younger daughter and wife. The place is perfect. It’s 30 second walk to the beach. We had some college tours planned and mix with vacation. Everything is under 15 minutes, the airport, downtown. Little Italy, La Jolla, USD, UCSD and the Zoo. There are restaurants right around so we walked for breakfast on Mission and Starbucks is a 5 minute walk. You can walk to the the Belmont Park amusement park two blocks away. Inside the house, entry is easy as it’s electronic so we didn’t have to worry about managing keys. In the kitchen all the pots and pans and dishes but also basic salt, paper, sugar etc available so you make hamburgers or anything on the outside grill. Two full bath are perfect so no fighting over bathrooms. Bedrooms are decent size but if you have a huge suitcase, consider moving your stuff in drawers so you wave enough walking space. Overall, the best spot for us with beach, restaurants walking distance and a parking spot (little tight) so if you have a car you can get anywhere within minutes. If our daughter decides to go college there. This could be our go-to home and n SD.

We traveled to San Diego in March for our spring break. The location of the house was great for our family. We purchased the Go City pass which allowed us access to many of San Diego’s attractions. Everything was close to this location and it was very easy getting in and out. We spent our afternoons walking up to the Plunge and spending time in Belmont Park. The house was a perfect size for our family. We are already looking to book the same trip next year!

Location was great- close to the restaurants and activities of mission beach and pacific beach, and easy to access north county and downtown. Great stock of adult bikes, boogie boards, and sand toys for the kids. Kids loved the close proximity to both the bay (calm, less people and wind) and to mission beach. Coffee spots and a little market were great to have right next door. The patio was great, quiet spot to relax at after a day out and about. Parking spot was tight, but we managed fine with a suburban. Host was a great communicator. The place had everything we needed- well equipped! We’d definitely stay again!

This rental is in the most ideal location. We were steps from the ocean, the protected bay, Belmont Park, restaurants, great kids playgrounds. We pretty much didn’t need the rental car we had. The patio was the perfect place for lunch. The two twin beds were perfect for our kids. We can’t wait to come back one day!

The property size and location met our needs. The house and court yard is very nice. The only negative thing for me, was towels had stains and kitchen utensils, cups, plates pots pans weren’t that clean. Easy fix on that. Overall,stay was wonderful. The property is very nice.

We had a wonderful stay at this home in in San Diego. The walk to the beach and nearby coffee and food options was perfect for our relaxing beach days. For days we were getting out and about, the proximity of the home to the highway made those days easier. The parking spot is a necessity in this area and this spot was actually easy to park/fit our rental in. The home was cute, comfortable and fully stocked with more than enough of everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

The sunny outside cottage is a great place To stay in San Diego. Easy access to all the attractions and if you want to be close to the beach, this is the place. Beautiful walks on the beach morning and evening! The host, Susan was accessible and very helpful.

We had a wonderful stay. A bit tricky coming in after dark but the host was quick with information to find entry. Great bikes, chairs and everything you could need for beach fun. A few rugs would make it more cozy as the floors were tiled and cold. Some updated artwork would make it a bit more Airbnb like. Interior was fine but not necessarily “wow” master mattress was a bit hard… a topper would make it very comfy. Overall very nice spot! Thank you

Property was pretty true to the photos. The courtyard is beautiful but because of rain we didn't get to enjoy the patio furniture. The house is equipped with everything you need for making meals. Close proximity to everything we came to see. Quiet neighborhood and close to the beach.

Very cute place! We stayed busy traveling the boardwalk using the bikes and walking to different establishments within the neighborhood. Overall, very quiet. We didn’t use the outside sitting area due to December weather, but plenty of room if we needed to. Uber/Lyft was easy to obtain to go to Coronado or Gas Lamp District.

Great location a block from the beach and from Belmont Park. We were worried about airplane noise but did not hear it at all. Front door and patio faces a pedestrian-only street which was quite nice (car access is in the back via an alley). Owner was very friendly and responsive It's hard to keep an older property like this close to the ocean spotless so I gave 4 stars for cleanliness. We did not have any problems with it.

This place gets a 5star for its location. It was nice to be minutes from the beach. The bikes were a bonus! Had a couple hiccups with the property but the property managers were great, easy to reach and helpful!

The fans were handy and plentiful, the kitchen was full of options in a miss matched inventory that covered all that were needed. Lighting and decor would make the living room more appealing but with that great patio we didn’t spend much time in there anyway. Our upstairs neighbors were great.

We had a wonderful stay. The property is at the perfect location in mission beach. We had a short walk to the beach. The owner also had everything we needed for the beach including towels, toys for the kids, and boogey boards. The owner also checked in on us during the stay to make sure everything was going smoothly. Quiet location as well. Would highly recommend!

This property was in great proximity to the beach. The patio is the best part of the house. I would just say to make sure you don’t rent a large SUV because parking is tight.

House keeper and property manager were great. The space is very clean. We were hesitant about shifting neighbors upstairs but were please we did not hear them unless outside at the same time. Steps from the beach and short walk to decent sportsbar restaurant options. Fine dining was less than 20 minute Uber.
