About this apartment rental
**Balcony renovation project at Phoenix IX from 10/15/23 - 3/15/24. From 7:30am to 5pm there will be significant noise from jack hammering.**

Phoenix IX is one of the newest and most luxurious condominiums on the Gulf! You can enjoy a spectacular view of the Gulf from the balcony or through the floor-to-ceiling windows in the unit. With over 1,570 sq ft the unit is very spacious and newly furnished.
This is a 'premium' unit offered to you at below the 'select' unit prices!!! We have installed all new furniture as of 11/14/18!!!
Amenities are abundant at this Phoenix IX condo: the unit is appointed with full-size appliances, wet bar with ice maker, 48” flat screen HDTV in living room with wall mounted 32” TVs in the bedrooms, laundry room with full size washer and dryer. There is a King bed in the Master bedroom and a King in the second bedroom, there is also a Queen sized sleeper sofa in the living room.
There is an outdoor pool with a secured kiddy pool, heated in-door swimming pool on the 7th floor with incredible views, two Jacuzzi's, state-of-the-art fitness center, and an indoor tennis court.
There is a 25 year old minimum age limit to reserve the unit which will be enforced with no refund for violation.

My family loved this rental. It was perfect for us and our preteens. We particularly liked the easy access to the beach, the view from the balcony, pickle ball court, spacious condo and outdoor pool when the water was too rough!

Condo is beautiful, stayed on the 15th floor which is the top floor, views were beautiful, and weather was great. Condo is close to all attractions, more restaurants and stores than you can ever think of. The area is pristine, clean, very family oriented, quiet and relaxing. We normally travel to the Myrtle beach area but NO MORE. I have found my new favorite place. It's HOT in Alabama, we went in August and it was 108 and the ocean water was 88 but it's Alabama, that's what happens. We are going back in December for another visit, we were there for 5 days, this time it will be 7, that's how much we love it there.The condo was great, lots of room, 3 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms both with king size beds, great balcony, awesome views, great loaded kitchen and nice dining room facing the ocean. There are just a few things that we didn't care for. food and drink still left in the refrigerator, sand on furniture and floor. sand all over outside furniture. I know we are at the beach but cleaning could be better. The living room TV, BE AWARE! TV says press TV button and then SAT button and TV will come on, well we tried for 30 minutes and it wouldn't. The bedroom TV's were fine, well the TV box in the living room is behind the TV stand door and the remote will NOT work unless the door is opened...DUH! felt stupid on that one but owners should put up a note to let people know so they don't call and say the TV is broken. The washer and dryer were AWFUL!! Dryer will not dry your clothes unless you run it for 2 cycles and washing machine was worse. it will wash and STOP full of water and you have to hit the sweet spot for it to drain and spin. it took hours doing laundry because of these problems and it didn't matter which setting you have it on. Some of the people that live there would give our husbands a hard time because they would fish out front from 6 am till about 10 well residents thought it was too long to fish. I would stay there again and again; I loved it there!!! Tha

Overall our stay was great. Great view to the South and West, the condo on the eastside of this condo sticks out further than this one and blocks the view to the East.
Condo overall was in good shape, but had a lot of minor maintenance issues. Lights burnt out, floor base tile taped to wall, toilets didn't flush right, had to hold the handle down. The bed in the second bedroom was great nice and firm.
Overall a great rip no issues that took away from our fun experience.

Everything about the condo was absolutely perfect!! The views of the gulf were beautiful!! We watched the dolphins swim each morning and evening from the balcony. Would recommend staying at this condo!!!
One suggestion I have is listing the types of beach umbrellas/shade that meets requirements of the beach. We had a Sun Ninja everyday we were on the beach. On the last day it was an issue. Condo security came to us and said if Beach Patrol asks us to move we will have to. Beach Patrol came and said technically the Sun Ninja didn’t meet requirements but we had no where to go farther back and not be in the way of emergency vehicles and we were fine to stay in the spot we had set up. Around 4pm Orange Beach Police came said they wouldn’t make us move at 4pm but wanted us to know….we explained what Beach Patrol said and he was good with that. Beach Patrol also suggested a Cool Cabana to meet requirements over a Sun Ninja. Early evening a family with a Cool Cabana came out. We talked to them about the issue. They said last year they were told the Cool Cabana did not meet requirements even though it only has one pole that goes in the sand. Clarifying what IS and IS NOT Beach acceptable would be great to avoid the drama we experienced yesterday. Trying to prevent sunburn should not create so much beach drama.

The condo was spacious and perfect location for us! The beach was not over crowded. The condo needs a little attention (minor repairs and a deep cleaning). I am assuming it has been rented nonstop this summer, so I guess it’s expected! They had some mildew/mold in the second bathroom around the vent on the ceiling and the sleeper couch was disgusting (food crumbs, toys, and dead bugs) when we pulled it out to make the bed up to sleep in. I would stay here again because these things didn’t ruin our trip!! We were very happy with the space and location.

The condo was a bit dated. The fridge was not clean. There was a used bar of soap and 2 used hairbrushes in the 2nd bathroom. The washing machine had a lot of liquid detergent splattered about the tub. The 2 maintenance issues were taken care of quickly. The location was nice.

We would rate this property in the lower half of beach condos used in the past 30+ years. While the property met most of our expectations (proximity to beach, comfortable, well-decorated, clean, etc), the absence of functional tv remotes due to dead batteries, inadequate supply of hand towels and wash clothes, nonfunctioning lamps in the living area, the limited quantity and quality of kitchen utensils, and poorly flushing toilets were a constant source of annoyance.

The property overall was great, it had a beautiful view and the condo was good. It could use a little updates on the bedding and the throw pillows. They need to add a few storage bowls to the dishes, but other than that it was an awesome place.

Beautiful Condo at Orange Beach
We had an amazing 3 night vacation at Phoenix IX. The condo was very clean, very nice furniture, comfy beds, great bathrooms, beautiful views from this top floor condo. The parking was no problem and close to elevators. Plenty of carts to help take your stuff up. The people at the front desk, where we paid for our parking pass. were very nice and friendly. We were provided ahead of time very precise and easy instructions for the unit. I really have nothing negative to say about this property. Definitely would rent again if it’s available.

The mattresses need to be replaced today.. other than those two issues this condo is fabulous. Especially if you are there for the BEACH. Beautifully decorated for a beach stay. Ice maker in wet bar is one ice making beast! Never were we out of ice! Great condo!
