My partner and I stayed for a month with our dog. The property was spotless, adorable and had everything we could possibly need. It was the perfect vacation spot. We have rented many homes through VRBO and this one was our favorite. Highly recommend.

Pros: Right on the canal, clean, spacious, screened patio, barbecue grill, close to many restaurants and a Publix grocery store, close to FL Keys Visitor Center (highly recommend stopping there for information if you are unfamiliar with the Keys), close to many snorkeling and dive companies (highly recommend Reef Resort).
Cons: Neighbors across the canal are loud and have a small beagle dog that they leave outside 24/7, which is heartbreaking to watch when it's 90 degrees outside. The poor dog whines most of the day to get inside. I know this is out of the hosts control, but it definitely affected our enjoyment of the property. Another big disturbance was the on-going construction at the property right next door. This was not mentioned in the listing, but I feel should be. Contractors would show up at 7:00 a.m. and once even on a Sunday morning with heavy equipment, drilling, sawing, nail guns, etc. They also played loud music while working. We ended our stay several days short because of this and the host refunded us for the days not used.
The host mentions that there are two kayaks for exploring in the FL Keys, however, there is no dock to launch the kayaks. You have to drop them from the sea wall into the canal and have the ability to launch yourself back up on to the concrete to get out.
It would have been nice to have a couple of lounge chairs for relaxing out front. All of the outdoor furniture are straight chairs.

Property was spotless, everything worked. When we needed to contact them we got an immediate response. Had a great stay, and are returning in 2025. And thinking about 2026.

It is quite apparent that the owners took much care to provide for any possible need. It was stocked better than any other rental we have had. The décor throughout was lovely and each room was bright and comfortable. There are plenty of excellent restaurants nearby. But if you decide to cook, you have plenty of cookware and cooking utensils you may need. It is a lovely home away from home.

We've been staying in Florida for a number of years now and this was our best housing so far. We spent a month, mid -January to mid-February, in this lovely home which had a perfect set up for ourselves and our kids and grandkids as they rotated through. Our grandkids used the pool everyday despite it not being heated, but then we are from Minnesota 😁 Great location in terms of things to do and see. There is a fair amount of construction going on in the neighborhood, but we were gone most days and it didn't bother my husband who was "home" working from the porch everyday while we wete out sight seeing. We started and ended our days on the screened porch and ate all our meals out there. We saw manetees, a variety of fish and even starfish from the dock and had fun kayaking in the bay off the neighborhood canals. We had amazing weather throughout our stay and felt very blessed as we missed 3 weeks of mimus 20 weather at home! It was wonderful to wear shorts and a bathing suit everyday of our stay. The house was immaculate and had a well stocked kitchen, beds were very comfortable with plenty of towels. The owners, Eugene and Mercy, were very responsive to any questions and were delightful to work with when we had to change our dates of stay due to my husband's unexpected surgery. We wanted to come back next year, but the home was rented already. Snap this house up when it is available-truly a gem! Thank you both for being such wonderful hosts.

Wonderful Stay!
We stayed a month at this beautiful place. The decor is wonderful. Every room, at every turn there was something interesting to see. Whoever decorated is gifted. The check in, the check out, the house, the pool, the location, the dock, fishing, kayaks, and the porch are terrific! I have to say that the host was so helpful, kind, and prompt in responding to any question. Thank you so much for our stay! The only bad thing is that someone else beat us to renting next March 2023. Highly recommend this outstanding place! We'd love to come again!

Sexton Cove Estates - Paul M.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property in Key Largo. It was very clean and comfortable with the beds especially nice. The kitchen was well-equipped with all that we needed for cooking. Living space was generous and there was a nice screened in patio. The hosts were very responsive to our requests. Access to the bay by boat (if you have one) is very quick. Very nice,

Perfect little getaway
We were looking for a relaxing getaway after being quarantined and this was just what we needed. The owners Eugene and Mercy were great hosts. They were so detailed with their emails and also cute little notes at the house. We stay at the keys many times a year and have never been so comfortable like we were at this house. It literally has everything you need for the family and extra guests. No need to lug around air mattresses for extra guests because they have that covered with plenty of beds. My family was amazed that we were able to sleep 10 of us on Mother’s Day weekend comfortably. They really put thought in accommodating out of town guests with a fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, even the chemicals to keep the pool nice and clean. Most importantly even before COVID I’ve always been very picky with cleanliness and this was definitely nothing to worry about here. I could go on but I think I made my point. Definitely recommend staying at this property. Hope to stay here again next year!

Awesome Keys Retreat!
This house was perfect for us. The pool and canal were big hits with family & friends. We had a bed for everyone, full size fridge, washer/dryer. The keyless entry was very convenient for checking in. Eugene & Mercy are the perfect hosts. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautifully decorated home. All the decor was so beachy and perfect. -Lisa C & Family/Friends

Key Largo
The property was really great. Having a pool was also a nice feature. The location was only 45 min from the airport so it was easy to pick up the kids when they came to visit.

Perfect home away from home
This home has everything anyone could want to enjoy the perfect stay away from home. The house is warm and inviting. Being on a canal was an added bonus. We enjoyed all the wildlife in the canal ( manatees and fish ) and the woods next door ( a variety of birds that sang every day ). We had some unexpected nighttime visitors in the canal ( alligators or salt water crocodiles ) on a couple of occasions which were interesting to watch as they swam by. The owners were very accommodating and pleasant to deal with, always replying to our requests immediately. Looking forward to our stay next year. The only draw back is that someone else beat us to renting it next February.

we stayed here for a month and enjoyed being visited by the manatees in the canal daily. We went fishing in the canal. We rode our bikes to the grocery store. We kayaked out to the estuary and saw crocodiles and manatees and Jellyfish. The house is very functional and new ...we loved it

Fantastic!!!
This rental is fantastic! Plenty of space for our family. The kayaks, boat dock, pool, screened in porch were so nice to have. We had a manatee swim right up to the dock our first night. The kids really enjoyed the pool. The house was equipped with everything we needed. Loved the trundle beds in every room too. This house was PERFECT!

Great get away!
We came down for a week with the kids for spring break. The house was great, clean and spacious. Loved the convenience of having the boat out back on the canal with a short jaunt out to the bay. Truly had a wonderful time and experience and will be back soon!

Relaxation Oasis Stay
Very nice house on canal. Highlight was seeing manatees almost every day in canal. Used kayaks to go to Blackwater Sound and Lake Surprise. We used the screened in porch and pool every day and they were great. Overall a very nice experience.
The only downside was on President's Day weekend a large contingent of people next to our house were very loud for three nights until 2 am.

Impressive
We were very pleased with the home as soon as we pulled up to the house. The exterior of the home was clean and well organized. Upon entering the home first thing we noticed was how open and well maintained it was. At that moment we knew we were going to enjoy our stay. The appliances in the kitchen are up to date with a wine chiller as well. There was plenty of utensil, pots and pans and anything else you could think of that would be in your own kitchen. There is a washer and dryer witch came in very handy.
Three bedrooms all with television and two baths was plenty of room for the 10 of us. Screened in porch, the pool was clean and ready to go for or stay. There is a place for your boat to tie up to and access the bay is within throwing distance.
I can't say enough about it our family really enjoyed our stay, highly recommend it.
Thank you again
Sincerely
David Roman

It was wonderful
The two people we sent to do work for the three week came back with wonderful stories about how much the stay at your house rather than a hotel room was great. They were near the jobsite and it was really nice to get up each morning and eat a good breakfast and be able to pack their lunches. It was also a good central place for weekend trips down to Key West and in between. Everything was clean and we would definitely recommend this property to anyone who wants to stay in a nice place for a reasonable price.

Beautiful home!
Beautifully maintained home! Nicely decorated and TV in each bedroom. Fun to look out on the water and good that they supply fishing poles and kayaks to use. Kids enjoyed cooling themselves off in the pool. Quiet neighborhood and nice at end of street and centrally located between National Parks and rest of keys. We saw a manatee in the water too! Great stay!

Great place to stay!
We were looking for a new place to stay for our annual pilgrimage to they keys. We found it! This place has it all. We have four to five members of our dive group and this place has more than enough room for us and all our gear! Mercy and Eugene have a great place that we will be returning to. Easy and prompt communication throughout the rental process.
Thanks again, we will see you in January!

My wife, our 3 kids, and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this nice house and had a wonderful time. The kids enjoyed this place, playing in the pool, fishing from the deck. We saw Manatees from the deck, awesome...
