Welcome to KaMilo, the upscale private community located in the exclusive Mauna Lani resort community on the Big Island of Hawaii. This stunning gated community offers beautifully appointed luxury homes with golf course views, vaulted ceilings and open floor plans perfect for relaxing or entertaining with your family and friends.

Recently (Oct 2024) the furniture and decor has been updated in the entire home.

Our home boasts the 4-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom Mahina floor plan with large open spaces and a private den. Indoor and outdoor living merge with vaulted ceilings, an expansive Great Room and full-width lanai doors. The spacious Lanai overlooks the lush greenbelt and KaMilo putting green with western views of Mauna Kea.

Upon entering our home, you are welcomed to upscale Kamaaina-style architecture and décor. Our home is equipped with an expansive gourmet kitchen with upgraded stainless steel appliances paired with all of the cookware you should need to prepare a gourmet feast. This home has both a Keurig and drip coffee maker. We equipped this home to be our own personal retreat so no expense was spared. Our entertainment system includes large flat-screen HDTV, HD Cable, DVD and high speed Wifi internet.

The main level “mini master” bedroom is conveniently located on the entry floor, providing a private retreat for those who may want to limit usage of stairs. This room is located just past the main level powder room and features a King bed, ample closet and storage spaces and its own private en suite bathroom. The en suite bathroom is equipped with a full shower and is separate from the main level powder room providing privacy and convenience to the guest.

The lower floor of the home features the Master Suite, and 2 additional bedrooms. The large Master Suite features an oversized bathroom suite with a separate shower, whirlpool tub and double vanities. The Master Bedroom is a fusion of ancient Hawaiian and luxury décor featuring a King sized bed and overlooking its own private lanai with views of the practice putting green and lush tropical landscaping.

The oversized second Guestroom features two queen beds and is perfect situated as a private retreat from the rest of the home. Tucked away down the hall from the Master Bedroom and family room, this room offers peace and quiet from the rest of the home.

The other bedroom is light and bright with views and direct access to the tropical KaMilo landscaping with 2, twin XL beds.

Getting out to the incredible surroundings of the KaMilo development means a lovely walk to the recreation center to float in the free-form pool, soak in the hot tub, swim laps in the dedicated lap pool, or work up a pre-dip sweat in the exercise room. Sensational snorkeling is a few minutes’ drive to the Mauna Lani Beach Club, where soft, lapping waves are safe for young and old alike, and the adventurous swimmer can lap around Winona, the resort’s own catamaran anchored and ready for sunset sails. The local turtles may accompany you. And when food and drink are needed, Napua is a grill and bar by day and a sophisticated and romantic restaurant by night.

The Shops at Mauna Lani is a convenient onsite plaza for dining, snorkel rentals, groceries, clothing, jewelry, as well as twice-weekly free Polynesian entertainment. Beyond the resort one finds mountains, beaches, valleys, waterfalls, shopping, coffee plantations, zip lines, helicopter rides, and historical interest. Together, all the amenities for this stunning KaMilo property blend family, friends, and memories into a fusion that provides an incredible experience not to be forgotten.

Fantastic property. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. We didn’t have to worry about the small things like enough toilet paper or garbage bags. Rooms were comfortable and very clean and the common areas totally suitable for 9 adults! Loved our stay and would absolutely recommend.

The property manager (Mike) is very responsive for any questions and quick in taking actions. My group of 10 are really enjoy our stay in the property. The swimming pool in the rec centre is amazing. Would recommend this place.

The house was clean and spacious in a beautiful neighborhood. Nice new appliances. Great neighborhood near Foodland and shops. We also enjoyed the access to the beach club near by. Mike, the property manager, was helpful and available to answer all my questions. Highly recommend!

Property was well maintained, and very quiet neighborhood. Easy walk to the pools and hot tub. The property manager Mike was extremely helpful and kind with all my previsit and visit questions. Thankful there was directions for use of remote controls, for the non tech savvy. The kitchen was wonderful for a large family. I highly recommend this property, the house fit all of our needs and then some. Having access to private beaches was amazing. When we went to the Hilton for the dolphin experience, we were so happy we didn't stay there. Gorgeous...but way too many people. This home was quiet, relaxing, peaceful and made it easy to switch into the Aloha state of mind. Being close to the Mauna Lani Auberge was ideal. Great restaurants and less crowded. The local market was close and the most hospitable and had what we needed. So location was ideal, cleanliness perfect, well kept and managed. We will definitely be back and will stay there. Thanks again to Mike, we had a dream family vacation.

This place was perfect for our multigeneration family. Lots of space with a great layout. We enjoyed the large and open family/kitchen area. The pool area is great, and we enjoyed access to the private beach club. Plenty of beach towels, boogie boards, and toys. We would happily stay here again!

Our stay was September 2-9 2023.It was like a model home and had an extremely comfortable floor plan. We in our 70’s took the mini master bedroom and bath on the main floor. While the adult kids and their families took the 3 bedrooms downstairs. What a quiet home! Together we enjoyed the open concept on the main floor level where the kitchen, living room, dining room and extended patio were. Everyone could still interact while sitting/working in different areas. The home had Subzero and Wolf kitchen appliances which we were not expecting! It had a well equipped kitchen for cooking but you will need To purchase all ingredients from the store. No salt/pepper/spices etc. it is in an upscale gated community of Ka Milo with 2 pools and nice recreation center. Also well located to grocery store, beaches, restaurants but must everywhere. Very close to Queen’s and King’s shopping centers and Waikoloa Village. Mike from Shiwota Management Co. was so professional and accommodating the entire process. A few issues arose but everything was quickly resolved. Considering we never met Mike, we would be happy to use his company again. We really loved our stay and hope to return in the future!
