About this apartment rental
This 1 bedroom/1 bath 1st floor unit has all the amenities that will make your stay comfortable. The bedroom has a double sized bed with air conditioning and an ensuite private bathroom. In the living room, there is a comfortable sofa bed that can be pulled out to accommodate two additional guests under the fresh air of a ceiling fan -- they will even have their own full bathroom. Long-term rental is also available plus electricity (except long-term rental of 28 days or more you pay), you get satellite cable TV, unlimited bandwidth Wi-Fi internet, and hot water showers. But enough about the house...
Panama, the great outdoors will be your playground all year round here in the Los Santos province on the Azuero Peninsula on the Pacific Ocean. And that includes being able to go to the beach anytime you want.
Uverito Beach stretches 3.2 kilometers (2 miles) where most of the time all you'll see is an occasional beach walker or jogger out for their exercise. Most of the long beach has single family vacation homes and is populated by a good mix of expats and locals.
The house is conveniently located just 10 minutes from the city of Las Tablas, and the city of Chitre is about 30 minutes to the north. This gives you access to shopping, healthcare, restaurants, and entertainment. Las Tablas is the capital of the Panamanian province of Los Santos, with a population of about 9,000. Las Tablas is a recognized national center of Panamanian folk: art, music, gastronomy, architecture, culture and literature.
It is known for a lively yearly Carnival, in which the city splits into two competing factions, "Calle Arriba" (Uptown, literally "Street Above") and "Calle Abajo" (Downtown / Street Below), both centered on two streets of the same name. Each faction will have a carnival queen, a parade, fireworks, music, a decorated plaza, food stands, presentations, concerts, games, contests, etc., all attempting to overpower the other faction's efforts. The drive from the beach winds past farmland dotted with cattle and horses.
If you feel like getting out on the water, you can go to the Port of Mensabe, a five minute drive around the corner from the house. Fishing is a major pastime and a number of fishing pangas can be contacted to go fishing.
And if you feel like kicking back, local restaurants in rustic eateries serve fried fish and ceviche for a few dollars each. Add an ice-cold beer for a buck and you can't beat it.
Uverito Beach is the go-to beach for families on weekends, holidays, and vacations, so it can be loud and crowded at times. But during the week the wide, flat, dark-sand beach is empty and it's a nice place to hang out with friends and family. The house is across the street from the beach with grassy access, a large covered patio/outdoor dining area, and hammock/rocking chairs to relax.
The best time to reserve your time!
So enjoy the coastline at Uverito Beach, relaxing on the beach, checking out Las Tablas, or heading out on the water.

Uverito Beach House Las Tablas, Panama
I recently booked a vacation stay at the Uverito Beach House in Las Tablas, Panama for two weeks. The Pacific Ocean is just a short stroll (less than a minute) across the road from the house. If a private beach is what you seek then this is the place. I only saw a few people on this part of the beach my entire stay. There is a busier section of the beach not to far away that is frequented by the locals, but mostly on weekends. I can't say enough good things about the property owner who did everything possible to ensure that my stay was confortable, including very helpful information regarding transporation and local area information. The downstairs apartment , where I stayed, was quite cozy for two but could accomodate 4 persons. The apartment was clean and tidy on arrival with everything there for an extended stay. Is the beach house 5 star? No, but it is a very nice apartment from which to get your beach fix on.

Everything you need
If you're looking for a spot practically on the beach, ready to go and furnished with everything you need (including utilities and wifi,) then this is the place for you!
My wife and I enjoyed walks on the beach, swimming, meeting new people, eating at the local restaurants, and getting into town was easy.
This is the place for you!

This was one of the nicest homes weve stayed in during our travels. With our stay of 7 weeks the house had all the things we needed. When anything happened that needed fixing Walter was able to resolve any issues within a couple of hours. A couple of times the power went out, but was restored within a few hours. The local bus would stop out front to go into town shopping and a quick cab ride back only took a few minutes. What a great spot to relax and see the local area. The local restaurants within walking distance had very tasty foods as well. A very safe environment to relax and enjoy the area with the border patrol base just a kilometer away doing patrols regularly. Thanks for a great time.

Comfortable in a convenient location
A good location for our needs. Near Las Tables and close to the larger city of Chitre. Comfortable with all the necessities needed: hot water, laundry, ac, tv and internet. Walter, the owner, was quick to respond to our needs. The one bedroom, two bathroom apartment was small but comfortable. We would recommend this apartment for long or short term renters.
