Start a summer tradition in the heart of Grand Beach! Located across the street from the lake on one of the highest points in the village, Sky Haven is the ideal gathering place for family and friends. Swim in the 20'x40' private pool, sit with your children in the smaller attached "kids" pool, or relax in the hot-tub just off the master bedroom. Watch some of the best sunsets in the WORLD from the back deck and soak up the lake breeze. Lake Views are partially blocked by trees and a couple beautiful homes across the street so walk down the block and have your toes in the sand within minutes. Playground, Tennis Courts, and Basketball is a five minute golf cart ride away, as is another beach access with a pier and creek. Don't forget your clubs as golf is just a two minute cart ride away from this ultimate summer escape!

Property is set up to deliver the BEST experience among family and friends with all the essentials provided by life-long Grand-Beacher: Free Golf Cart Use; Two Kayaks; Fifteen Beach Chairs; Fully Equipped Kitchen with Extra Oven Below Counter; Two Refrigerators; Dining for Twelve+ Indoors or at Enormous Outdoor Table; Billiards Table in Basement; Three Separate Living Areas with Couches and HDTVs; Gas Grill; Charcoal Grill; Outdoor Couches; Chaise Lounges; Deck Chairs; Fire-Pit; and a Full Length Bar and Foosball in the Cabana.

The gigantic main bedroom is perfect for a family of five+ or just fine for one couple as it holds six extra beds in addition to the king. Two more bedrooms on the main level provide a king and queen bed plus ample closet space. The lower level hosts two additional bedrooms with four bunked twins and a crib in one room, and a queen in the other.

The beach is a quick walk away. Load up the golf cart with your beach chairs, and cooler (no glass), then roll down the hill, make one right turn and stop before you come to the edge of the dune. Leave the cart and spend a day on this secluded, residents and guests only beach. Once the sun sets start up a bonfire and drift away with the sounds of the lake!

Need to cool off and get out of the sun? Head down to the fully finished basement! Full length billiards table has new professionally installed slate/felt for hours of fun. Or, with ample couch space, disappear from the crowd and catch a ballgame on the HD Cable TV.

Sky Haven is an approved and registered rental property within Grand Beach. Please note that as part of that registration, we are capped to 14 total overnight guests, with a 20 person daytime capacity. (Counts do not apply to children under two years of age.)

We spent the week with our children and grandchildren. The kitchen was well stocked. Beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas along with the golf cart were a huge bonus. The host was very helpful and response time was quick.

Overall, we had a great stay! The house worked great for 12 of us, including kids. The owner was quick to respond and accommodating. The outdoor area was the star of the week with a giant pool and fire pit. Would recommend and stay again.

We had a wonderful time at this home. The owner, Robert, was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The home was perfect for our large multi generational group. There were plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained…pool, foosball, billiards..and the golf cart was an added bonus. We hope to be back!

We had a wonderful week at Skyhaven! House was well stocked with every kitchen pot/pan/dish needed for large group as well as 2 refrigerators and 2 ovens. Large pool and deck were awesome! Only complaints were ants in kitchen upon arrival and downstairs bathroom had plumbing issue on last night. Robert was very quick to respond, and we would definitely rent from him again!

Robert was probably the nicest "owner" we have ever be in contact with. He responded quickly to my questions and needs. Even after we checked out, he still responded to me. Lovely home, near Lake Michigan. Met his Mom when we were checking in. Lovely person too. I took all kinds of product with me, like TP and soaps, but it was not needed. The house was well stocked. You cannot go wrong renting this property.

Our family had a wonderful time at SkyHaven last week. The property was perfect for our large group. The kids loved piling into the bunk room and the adults had plenty of space as well. It had every amenity that you'd expect and we really enjoyed having access to the kayaks, golf cart and fire pit. The beach and lake were awesome but it was so relaxing poolside that we spent most of our time there. Grand Beach is a great lakeside community.

Our family was long overdue for a vacation thanks to Covid, and this vacation house was just what we needed. The pool was the highlight of the week and the weather was absolutely beautiful. Having two refrigerators was very helpful for our large group and there was ample room for all of us. One thing we had not been prepared for was the lack of restaurants and takeout in this area due to Covid closings and low staffing. We ended up cooking at home more than we had planned but fortunately there are two grills available. Overall, it was a great vacation!

Robert was very attentive to our needs, and one of the best owners we have rented from for our vacations. We liked the Grand Beach community as well, having golf and the basketball court, along with all there was to do at the house, was perfect for everyone of all in ages in our party.

This house is dated and while I appreciate the owners desire to keep the mid century nature of the house it makes the layout rather difficult. The owner was super cooperative to work with before and during our stay. The other issue was the lack of “beach”. I know Lake Michigan has had some erosion issues as of late but we were not informed that the “beach” was rocks and pebbles-not a welcome place to sit and take in sun or sunset. Again, the owner was great to work with but for our family this wasn’t the place for us.

3 Families, long weekend!

We had a great time at this house with 3 families for a long holiday weekend. Great location and outdoor space is wonderful. We had plenty of beds, the kitchen has 2 fridges and 2 ovens which made food prep easy. Grilling outdoor poolside while watching sunsets was a blast and the kids all loved the kiddie pool, the full size pool and the hot tub plus beach access and a golf cart!

We've always stayed on the beach but opted for a house with a pool this year. This house was great. Just as it appeared in the pictures, actually a little better. Robert was super easy and nice to work with. Sleeping arrangements were great, no bed complaints from anyone! Outside table was perfect. AC worked great. Golf cart was a treat. Bring your own bikes. I know this sounds silly but we've rented a lot of homes over the past 25 years - the garbage cans and pick up service were the best we've every seen - and garbage is a real issue when you have 14 people! We really missed being on the lake, but your house was a terrific option. Thank you, Robert!

The house worked well for our group and Robert was so responsive to any questions, advice, etc. It has to be hard for property owners in Grand Beach to see the beach disappearing but we traveled to New Buffalo beach and enjoyed jet skiing and hanging out. It was new to us to bring our own soaps, toilet tissue, etc. but not a deal breaker. The pool and hot tub were great for our family group and the outdoor table was big enough for all of us to sit together in the evening and we loved that! We’d go again!

A Great Stay at Sky Haven!

We loved Sky Haven. We ventured out to the Warren Dunes and into New Buffalo but most all of our time was spent at this great home and the surrounding area of Grand Beach. The outdoor area is well suited for a family of 8 adults and five kids. A well stocked kitchen let us prepare some fabulous meals and the large eating area by the pool let us eat all of our meals together at one table. We would love to come back and stay at Sky Haven again in the future!

We enjoyed this property with our children and grandchildren. Very comfortable and clean. Lots of amenities - golf cart, pool with tons of pool toys, pool table, etc. Location is great as it is walking distance to Lake Michigan. Communication with the owner is very good. We highly recommend this place!

We rented this property with the full intention of going on various short day trips. We had so much fun hanging around the pool and in the home environment, we only ventured out one time. The house was so cozy and the outside area had us there from early morning until late evening. The owner, Robert, could not have been more accommodating and present to meet any of our needs. His parents greeted us on the first day and they were lovely. Definitely gets five stars across-the-board.
