The location was great, only a few minutes from the beach.
Cleanliness - had ants on the floor and bench tops. Apartment had lots of rules ie signs asking to remove shoes inside, to have blinds at certain levels, to not use dishwasher on last day, to set alarm before leaving, to turn off air conditioner when out.
Room key gave access to one door which opened and provided access to 3 doors (2 apartments and hosts office - thus both apartments had access to each other making me feel unsafe).

the homely feel, the decor, close enough to the Main Street.
noisy people above our heads but to be expected in flats. but nothing can be done about that.

The location was great. Peekaboo view of the ocean.
The inability to drop off cases and items safely via the road and to the apartment. Strong scented linens.

We loved our stay at VerdeLimone in Monterosso. Iris is a fantastic host who provided us with valuable information before our arrival and made sure we were in contact to welcome us upon our arrival. The apartment was fabulous and the beds very confortable. The balcony with the view was perfect.
Iris was available to answer ALL of our questions, discuss about dinner plans and used her magic to get us in some of her favorite local quaint restaurants.
NOTE- Understandably, the price to get the fabulous view was the steps to go uphill to the apartment which was challenging for us with the luggages!

Our stay at Iris' apartment was really memorable. The interior was done in olive green and lemon yellow which it made feel very welcoming. We were just a stone's throw from the beach and station and the walk back up the stairs was always good to digest our Italian meals. To greet us she provided a bottle of red wine, limoncello, prosecco, biscuits and homemade jam.
As a fellow musician, it was a real treat and pleasant surprise finding a tuned acoustic guitar hanging on the wall. Apparently, Iris' husband ensures that all their apartments have guitars for those who cannot bring their own with.
We would love to stay there again when we go back to Monterosso.

The apartment was beautiful, very efficiently designed, well outfitted, and included a balcony with a nice view of the sea. The owner, Iris, met us at the apartment to go over all the details and even made us reservations for dinner the same day. Iris was very pleasant and was always very responsive to our texts. The apartment is only a ten minute walk from the train station though as with all of Cinque Terre, it is an uphill walk. We found Monterosso to be a great home base for visiting all of Cinque Terre.
The only challenge is the uphill walk and stairs to the apartment. But it was not a problem for us and a small price to pay for having a beautiful little apartment with a view of the sea.

Wonderful view from the balcony, property very clean, well equipped, and well maintained. Fun vibe to the decor! Iris provided many helpful details about the area.
Visitors should be aware that the whole area is hilly and requires stairs to access property, parking, and the town. But if you are up for it, it’s great exercise!

Apartment is well appointed and host left welcome gifts including home made lemoncello! Host has thought of everything to make stay as comfortable as possible. Great little balcony to sit and enjoy views.
Everything was great! There are many steps to reach property but this is expected in all areas of cinque terre.

The apartment was very clean, bright and nicely decorated with a lovely view from the small terrace. The kitchen was well stocked with the pans and dinnerware we needed to enjoy a few meals in. Our host, Iris, met us at the station, provided welcome gifts, and gave us wonderful suggestions for places to eat and how to explore the area. She even helped us get reservations at a lovely restaurant.

The rooms were very clean, wonderful colors, the reception of the host was very friendly, there were little gifts for us in the accomodation. The location is perfect for having nice days in Cinqueterre, it´s situated centrally but quietly, only 2 min walk to the beach, bakery and a little shop, 3 min walk to train station, 10 min walk to ferry station and the old town with many little shops in small streets and to the beginning of the famous hiking trail.
the parking situation. the parking belonging to the flat is to small for bigger cars, you have to park downtown ( not far, but 70 euros for 5 days)

Iris, the owner, was very nice and helpful and arranged restaurant reservations. Good location.

The apartment is pretty big, beautifully decorated and well equipped with kitchen utilities. The view is amazing. The location is very convenient (5 minutes from bakeries/restaurants, the beach and train station).
