Snowgrass Lodge lies in a nature setting above the rushing waters of the Wenatchee river. With views of the Cascade Mountains, a sprawling lawn, and river access just steps away, Snowgrass is a welcome retreat within walking distance of the golf course and downtown Leavenworth. Perfect for family gatherings, this group vacation rental is an ideal home base for exploring all that the Leavenworth area has to offer. NOTE: We can only allow weddings or parties since we're limited our daytime occupancy is limited to 16 guests by county regulations.
The 7,000-square-foot timber frame lodge 4 private bedrooms and 4 additional sleeping areas on 3 floors of rustic beauty, a grand living room with a stunning cathedral ceiling and river rock fireplace, and a kitchen to inspire any chef. From fireside seating to cozy lounges, you’ll find spaces on every floor for relaxing with family and friends. Outside, a hot tub beckons, and the wrap-around deck lets you dine in full view of the river.

From Oktoberfest and Christmas tree lighting festivals, to river rafting in summer (you can even float to downtown from the lodge!), Snowgrass is your home in nature.

This is a gorgeous house. VERY large and accommodating for a lot of people. The kitchen is very well appointed, the beds are VERY comfortable, the setting is picture perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Thank you for all the comforts you provided!!!

The kitchen was very well stocked, everything we needed and more was available. The beds were extremely comfortable. There is plenty of room to spread out, the master suite bathroom is amazing.
The cons: hot tub wasnt covered and the trees were dumping huge snow clumps all over us, so really couldnt use it. The fireplace downstairs didnt work (brrr) and the main living area furniture was pretty dated for such a grand room.

Thank you so much for a wonderful girls trip. It was helpful to have 2 bedrooms on the one level for our two older women. Very close proximity to town but still quiet, peaceful and beautiful. You can see the river next to the house. We were lucky enough to get some snow and have the true and just beautiful White Christmas. We had 2 four wheel drive vehicles for our group which I think is a must during the snow season. We traveled from Seattle to Leavensworth and rented cars. Just drive slow and no worries. The driveway was plowed everday and our gracious host even cleared off our vehicles. When it comes to the downtown area, we went on the weekend for the full Christmas experience. It was very busy on Saturday with long waits but still doeable. Sunday was a little slower. Monday you can get in and out for the most part but you wont experience the weekend performers. Lots of carolers and costume characters to photograph with as well. Great little sled hill for the kids, Wonderful shops and resturaunts. Once you get your bearings its a hop, skip and a jump :) I highly recommend this property for bigger groups. Well spread out for separation but when it comes to the gathering area its stunning. Thank you again for such a wonderful experience. :)

Beautiful home located in perfect location for seeing downtown, hiking, river. House as almost everything for making meals, save for a lack of drinking glasses.
Our only complaint was the listing promised a hot tub, but it was not in working order during our stay--we were told once we arrived. The host allowed use of their own, which was kind. Unfortunately, not everyone felt comfortable going to their place. Missed having this as a way of connecting with each other.

Leavenworth bliss
Beautiful home in a great location. We enjoyed the sounds of the Wenatchee River rushing past just below the house, and the lovely view of Snowgrass Mountain. Town is just a 5-minute drive away and there are numerous trailheads for exploration off Icicle Creek Road. We particularly enjoyed the Icicle Gorge Nature Trail which we walked with two babies in backpacks.

Winter Weekend
Lodge is impressive. Large enough for all to spread out or gather for conversation or games. Loved the craftsmanship but into this house. This house was built from love. It has a true warmth.We loved our stay and would recommend and stay again.

Great place for our birthday celebration/ family reunion. Excellent for 4-5 couples. Very nice accommodations and amenities. We had a wonderful time and if able will come back next year. Excellent communication with owners. No issues.

Beautiful, huge and cozy
This home had so much room for our 13 family members. The enormous kitchen was perfect for cooking our Thanksgiving dinner. Two ovens and two refrigerators was perfect. The view of the mountains, Wenatchee River and beautiful grounds was great for walks and family pictures.

Beautiful Riverside Property
The property is beautiful and perfectly located near downtown. The owners are nearby and easily accessible if anything is needed. Property is large which made our group stay very comfortable!

Wonderful birthday getaway
This house is huge! Sits on a beautiful setting by the river with gorgeous Mountain View’s. It has a big driveway to fit numerous vehicles. The interior is grand with wood accents everywhere, tall ceilings, artwork, fireplace is amazing, plenty of areas to sit and relax. The furniture is very comfortable and sometimes holds you hostage. The kitchen is amazing and there is plenty of everything to use. The downstairs is really cute and spacious. Has a kitchen as well. The master suite is incredible! We loved all the space and the shower especially. It even has a mini fridge area. So many little nooks and crannies to discover and admire. The owners are right next door if anything was needed and were very nice! Enjoyed exploring the grounds and the lighted tree at night. Would stay here again. Thank you!

Incredible timberframe home
Overall we had a great stay here. The home is a great size for larger groups wanting to cook, play and stay. The timber frame nature is truly incredible and strikes a little awe in you. As other guests have mentioned, there are numerous articles of furniture that need updating. Also hoping the owners can work on the irrigation of the lawn, because there were multiple areas that were too muddy and wet to allow us to play games, etc with kids outside.

Lovely place, right by the river.
There were only five of us who stayed here in August so we had a huge amount of lovely and comfortable room. Everything was very clean, organized and in excellent condition. Unlike many places that say they are near the river this one actually was. It was easy to walk down to the river and spend the day floating or just enjoying the area. We would happily stay here again.

Highly recommend
Beautiful large home. Great for entertaining and well appointed. The grounds are perfect for the kids to run, play games and tire themselves out. The close by access to the river was a big hit.

Picturesque home
We had the best time!! The house is stunning. With 15 people overnight, it would have been nice to have some extra towels, linens and pillows. The kitchen was missing some essentials (coffee filters, olive oil, salt) but generally was very stocked and great for entertaining.

Needs upkeep
Many things in disrepair such as door handles, light switches, hot tub. There was hair on the shower wall in my bathroom. Caught the owner peeping in the window.

Easter Getaway
We really enjoyed our time at Snowgrass Lodge. Plenty of room for all of us, really well stocked with everything we needed, and the location was great—really close to town and river access. We had a small issue with a woodpecker on the metal roof first thing in the morning, but that's what naps are for. We would definitely rent here again.

Space for everyone
Very nice property with separate beds/baths for the 3 couples of our family get-together. Good wi-fi and separate rooms for those who needed to work from the lodge while others got out to play in the snow of Stevens Pass. Property managers very responsive to questions and recommendation requests!

Great place
Family had a blast. Inside the setting was perfect for family board games, a puzzle and enjoying the Seahawks. Outside was beautiful. Right next to the river, great yard, and the hot tub was perfect!

Gorgeous and stocked but needs some repair
The location was prime, while a bit too far to walk with young kids, it was a super fast drive. The house has amazing space with gorgeous beams and lots of rooms to have a large group feel like they are part of the fun or places for some quiet time. The only issue we had was with a bit of disrepair like the hot tub keeping the desired temperature, dirty light switches and some questionable furniture (e.g. could feel frame on dinning chairs, some couches were lacking some cushioning, rollaway mattresses dirty and could feel the buttons while sleeping). Overall great place location wise, space wise, kitchen was well stocked, washer/dryer up and down, showers have great pressure, yard has some walking trails nearby, river and Mountain View’s!

Fantastic lodging for our girls’ weekend
We were able to rest, relax, re-connect and enjoy our time together as friends at the Snowgoose Lodge this past weekend. The entire property and house were fantastic! Tons of space to spread out, make great meals, enjoy the Christmas decorations and make memories. I highly recommend! And it’s so close to town.

Wonderful house
This was a great house for families. We had three families with a total of 4 little ones under the age of 4. Great large yard to play in and it is right at the river float drop in sight so easy access. Over a mile walk in to downtown so driving and looking for parking is recommended. House was huge, clean and perfect. Thank you!

Perfect place for family gathering
The house is beautiful and the yard is stunning. It was the perfect place for a family weekend wedding. There is plenty of space to spread out if needed. The yard is great for lawn games and the kitchen is well stocked.

A former gem
The property is great - however it is showing a lot of age. With a little effort this place could be easily restored to what i am sure was originally a very beautiful home. There were light bulbs burned out everywhere and cob webs on the chandeliers. A lot was broken or not working (dryer, ice maker, tub jets), mostly small things, so mostly annoyances more than anything.
When we arrived, the sheets on one of the beds was stained with unknown substances.
We were overall pleased with the house, and if a few things were fixed, repaired, cleaned we would have been very pleased.

Family vacay for 10
The house was nicely done, very clean and comfortable. It was so spacious and roomy for 10 of us to enjoy the mountain vistas from the great room. We ate 2 dinners outside on the deck facing the river. After a day of hiking, the hot tub was relaxing in the beautiful grounds. We would highly recommend this house and maybe sometime get to go back.

Snowgrass Lodge
Snowgrass Lodge is a gorgeous property along the river with trees all around. We had the perfect long weekend-the lodge fit all of us comfortably, the cathedral ceilings, wood floors and beautiful and well-stocked kitchen made for a spectacular and inviting family reunion. Not to mention the master suite! Thank you so much, Angela and Hernan. They were the perfect hosts and answered our questions to provide an expansive experience. We will be back!

Beautiful home
My family of 6 adults and three children stayed at Snowgrass for four days over Presidents weekend. I chose this house because it was large and would give everyone plenty of space and privacy. It was a perfect choice. Although the house is huge, it still felt warm and inviting. The kitchen is top of the line and equipped with everything a gourmet chef could need. Angela and Hernan were excellent hosts. A few times we emailed them with questions and they responded immediately. I highly recommend this property.

Romantic Mountain Lodge
My husband and I used this loge for our very simple wedding in May. We chose this lodge for it's open living room and dining room. I wanted a space that would work for a rainy day ceremony so that I wouldn't have to worry about weather. There was plenty of rooms for my family to stay in the night before and the next two days. We both just invited our immediate family (about 30 people in all). We set up the three large dining tables in the foyer for our meal and used the variety of chairs in the living room for our ceremony. Afterwards we played yard games out in the front yard. I LOVED this lodge and am so happy we chose this as our venue for a small family wedding.
