About this villa rental
This striking, seaside villa sits in the very heart of Pedregal's Valley of the Blue Moon, Cabo San Lucas' premier residential community. A fiber optic cable into the Villa broadcast via a Eero mesh WiFi system provides lightning fast internet to every room and to the wall-enclosed backyard/pool. This elite slice of Pedregal takes its name from the surreal, silver-blue reflection that illuminates the tiny valley when the moon is bright. Unlike the oldest section of Pedregal just above the marina, the Valley of the Blue Moon is sheltered from downtown’s late-night/early morning party racket by a stony mountain ridge.
You simply will not find a better location for a vacation rental anywhere in Los Cabos. Secluded above dramatic cliffs on the Pacific Side – just west of Land’s End – it’s as though you are in your own private paradise. In reality, though, downtown Cabo is literally moments away, less than a mile down the mountain, by taxi or car. Imagine: Great restaurants, amazing shopping, and legendary night life are all within easy reach (walking distance for the heartiest of souls), but you can slip off to luxurious peace and quiet anytime by just passing through the Pedregal gate (professionally guarded 24/7), coming up the mountain’s cobblestone road, and passing into Casa Fuente’s serene courtyard.
Casa Fuente is a spacious, custom-built, three-bedroom/four bath villa. Designed in 2001 by a prominent local architect, it is furnished in an attractive, authentic Baja style. It boasts a rare mix of Old-World Mexican charm with all the cutting-edge conveniences of contemporary living. The heated pool and stonemason’s barbecue island bookend a high-walled yard that is ideal for day-after-day private, outdoor relaxing. The entire villa is enclosed by a 12-foot perimeter wall, making perfect the sense of seclusion.
In Spanish, 'fuente' means fountain. Casa Fuente takes its name from the fountain built by Pedregal's founders next to the villa’s south wall. Its soft gurgle greets your arrival, as you gaze out on the Pacific Ocean. Entering the villa for the first time, you pass with eagerness through a massive, wrought-iron gate. This brings you into a lovely tiled courtyard peppered with palms and made fragrant by a lime tree flourishing under the desert sun. Continuing through this courtyard takes you to its immense, wrought iron and glass front door.
Once inside, you behold a unique wall of Mexican onyx spanning from floor to ceiling on your right. Cut thin and backlit, it makes one of the most spectacular entry-way lights you’ll ever witness. Directly before you lies Casa Fuente’s living room. Its curved leather couch beckons to you. Its cutting-edge entertainment system features a 62-inch, high-definition television. Watch your favorite sporting events and shows. A Dish satellite receiver offers more than 250 channels, including a sports package. Or perhaps you have a movie on your phone – or photos that you took of Cabo’s sensational sights earlier that day – you’d like to see on the big screen? You can do that effortlessly and wirelessly with the Apple TV device. Another option is the Blu-Ray player; watch one of the movies in the villa’s library or one that you brought with you. Looking for a more interactive experience or some friendly competition? Challenge one of your guests to an X-Box One competition on the villa’s state-of-the-art gaming console. A variety of games are provided for your enjoyment.
Let’s not forget, this is Cabo. Right off the living room is the walk-in wet bar and bar table. It comes completely stocked with glassware – whether your libation of choice is a margarita, wine, scotch, or something in between – you’ll find all the drinkware and accessories you need to make bartending a breeze. There is seating for three in the bar. There is also one bathroom on the villa’s ground level, located a dozen steps from the bar.
Passing through the bar, you find yourself in the kitchen. Updated in December 2014, the thoroughly modern, gourmet kitchen has all the conveniences: oven, large refrigerator and freezer, microwave, both a standard and a Keurig coffee maker, toaster, blender, gas stove-top and dishwasher. The kitchen is spacious, so you and your guests will have plenty of room to cook and mingle. The villa’s open floor plan allows those in the kitchen to keep a close eye on whatever is playing on the big screen. Of course, the kitchen and bar come fully stocked with an abundance of cookware, glasses, dishware, silverware, and knives. Even if you are serving Thanksgiving dinner for a large group, you will find everything you need close at hand.
Immediately off the kitchen is the dining room with an attractive table that spaciously seats six (or add a leaf to just as easily seat 8). Additional seating at the bar table ten feet away means that Casa Fuente comfortably accommodates 11 dinner guests inside. Of course, there is additional dinner seating for 6 outside on the pool deck.
One of the finest things about Cabo San Lucas is its weather, which is ideal for outdoor living most of the year. Casa Fuente’s architect -- a local educated in Paris -- understood first-hand how people like to live in Los Cabos. As a result, he artistically integrated outdoor living into Casa Fuente’s design. Two large sliding glass doors on Casa Fuente’s west wall offer you a seamless transition between inside and outside. And just off the living room, the layout affords a shaded, poolside dining table.
No Cabo villa is complete without a heated pool and plenty of room to lounge on its edge. Casa Fuente does not disappoint. Four plush chaise lounges allow you to stretch out comfortably in the sun. There are two, large patio umbrellas to cast shade. There is also a Bluetooth speaker on the pool deck that plays whatever music you have on your phone, iPad or other Bluetooth-enabled device. Or, if you’d prefer to go old-school, there is a CD player for your use as well, so be sure to pack your favorites before leaving home.
Hopefully you are planning to barbecue while in Cabo, because Casa Fuente is the perfect place for it. Whether you’ll be grilling the fish you caught that morning, ribs from the neighborhood butcher or marinated steaks from Costco, you will not find a better barbecue anywhere in Cabo San Lucas. Period.
One of Casa Fuente’s recent upgrades is a Bull®-manufactured, Angus-model barbecue. Local stonemasons using exquisite Cantera-bricks imported from the Mexican mainland hand-built the barbecue island. With four-burners providing 75,000 BTUs (no, that’s not a typo), you will have all the power and control you need to make your meal a masterpiece of outdoor culinary perfection.
Casa Fuente’s barbecue level offers plush seating for four beneath a large umbrella and around a large coffee table. This same area also affords a wonderful place to sit with your guests on Cabo’s famed warm evenings -- under the valley’s renowned blue moon -- savoring a bottle of wine.
If you are sharing the villa with other couples, you will quickly come to appreciate that Casa Fuente’s architect created the ground level for living, while the upstairs is reserved for bedrooms and remaining bathrooms. Three of each to be exact. Go to bed early or sleep late, the fun continues downstairs without disturbing or inhibiting anyone.
Climbing the stairs to the second level you will discover that it was painted with painstaking artistry. At the top of the stairwell, you will surely pause to admire the wall murals. On your left is an intricate design of four flower pots. Grape vines are painted growing around the bedroom door on the opposite wall. Open the door to the room we have named De la Luna Azul (“of the Blue Moon”) and you find Roman–style columns on both sides of a window that looks out to the west and affords a stunning view of the uppermost stretch of the Valley of the Blue Moon. This room is furnished with two twin beds. Its bathroom, located a few steps away, has an immense Mexican-tile shower and dual vanity.
Next is the room that without question is the artistic highlight of the villa’s many charms. It is one of the villa’s two master bedrooms. We call this one the Del Fuente room because its south-facing balcony is right above the fountain (in Spanish, “fuente”) for which Casa Fuente is named. Above its queen bed is a large, original oil painting of four young Mexican girls in traditional dresses walking way carrying baskets on their heads. Please see the photos. What's more, the ceiling of this room is an amazing brick dome, a specialty of the elite craftsmen who built the homes of Pedregal. The Del Fuente Room also boasts its own bathroom, complete with a dual vanity, a Jacuzzi tub, and a shower.
The villa’s other master bedroom we have named the Del Mar (“Of the Sea”) bedroom. Facing the front of the house, its immense windows look east out through the lower stretch of Valley of the Blue Moon to the sea far below. Leave the curtains open if you’d like to watch from your king-size bed as the sun rises and the fishing boats head out in the morning. There is a large balcony off this room, furnished with two huge captains' chairs with ottomans, making this the ideal place to slip away in the late-evening for some quiet time under the moon or to watch the sunrise with a cup of coffee. The Del Mar bedroom has its own bathroom with a dual vanity, a shower and an immense bathtub.
If you have a car, you are welcome to park it out of the sun in Casa Fuente’s secure, attached garage. You will find this lovely villa is an excellent choice for a memorable vacation.

Clean, great location, property as discribed!

This is our second stay at Casa Fuente. Perry is amazing. Always responds quickly and checked to make sure we were all set the day before arrival. The place is perfect for our family with comfortable beds and great split units for a/c in the bedrooms. The pool area is perfect for relaxing and having a few drinks. The kitchen is well equipped. We love getting up to watch the sunrise from the master patio. You won’t regret spending a few days at this villa.

Enjoyed our stay at Casa Fuente; beautiful and safe location. The bedrooms are spacious as is the downstairs living area. We especially liked the pool area; plenty of seating and an outside eating area. The managing agent is very accommodating. They arranged a car and a chef prepared dinner for us. They responded to our questions very promptly.

I travel 180 plus days a year and write many reviews... mostly critical. Nothing but good things to say about this property. I might suggest not using Google Directions as it might have you driving and walking in circles.

This property was perfect for our family. Upon arrival we were met by the property management company and there were some beer and some snacks in the fridge waiting. We went into Cabo daily for dinners but had our other meals at the house. The pool is small but big enough to take a dip and float a bit. It was heated which was AMAZING! We used it a lot and took a dip in the evenings as well since the water was so nice. We walked to Pedregal beach each day which isn’t swimmable but is beautiful and a nice walk next to the ocean. The walk back is up hill, a nice little workout. You won’t regret renting this property. I hope we can come back again.

Casa Fuente is a home away from home. The Pedregal is a great location very near to town. The outside area is very comfortable; we especially enjoyed the pool. We were 5 adults and had plenty of room to be together and also to have our own space. Managing agent was fabulous. Responded to our requests very quickly. Can't wait to go back

Bachelorette In Cabo
I booked this property for a group of 8 women for my bachelorette trip. Immediately upon booking Angie and Gaby reached out and helped me plan our trip, including activities and transportation. They were so communicative and quick to respond.
Upon arrival to the villa we were greeted by Angie and she gave us a detailed tour of the house. It was even better than the listing! The artwork is beautiful and makes the house feel so warm and welcoming. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all large and unique in their style. The patio off the master bedroom has a gorgeous view down to the water. The property around the house is technically public, but it is very well maintained and we only saw 2-3 other people the entire stay. The backyard is large with lots of seating and options for sun and shade, and the pool was nicely heated.
We were able to walk down to Pedregal beach. It is largely empty and has a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean and huge rock formations. It is not safe for swimming, but the breeze from the ocean and the shade from the palm trees was enough to be comfortable. There is also a public restroom. The walk is about 15 minutes and is easy on the way down but tougher uphill on the way back.
We felt very safe the entire time and appreciated the strict security to enter Pedregal. The short 10 minute ride to the downtown area and marina was so convenient as well.
We had a perfect stay and hope to return!

Had an amazing time staying in Pedrigal at the Casa Fuente! Everything was great! We rented a car to drive up to the Green Room in Todos Santos. Had the best time ever. Thank you Perry for renting out your beautiful home. (Next year I’ll be playing pickle ball at the courts. ).

Amazing home for our girls weekend. We didn't want to leave!
Casa Fuente is nestled among stunning hills, vistas, and villas of Pedregal. It's a beautifully decorated (Mexican inspired) and spacious home. We arranged our stay with the property management company, Ronival (thanks Gaby and Angie!) and they were very responsive. We arranged for a Welcome Package to arrive when we arrived (margaritas were very watered down but rest was great). We had complimentary beer and snacks from our host which was nice too. We also got messages at the house for all 5 of us and they were very good and professional. Everyone wore masks and we felt very safe. The house has all the amenities you can imagine and the pool was warmed to just the right temp for even a evening dip. Definitely recommend a rental car or using Rico Taxi service to get in and out of Pedregal during your stay. We walked to the beach several times (30 mins RT) and it was lovely with very few people. Highly recommend Casa Fuente for rest and relaxation.

Very nice
Property is lovely. Pool is warm and deep to stand. House is clean and inviting. Had a great time. It’s a bit secluded from town. We didn’t have trouble getting a taxi up or down hill. $40 round trip. Perry helped me with a snag in check in. Very efficient.

Perfect Location
This property is just beautiful. We loved the house so much we really didn’t need to go looking for things to do because it was so relaxing and enjoyable just hanging around the house. The welcome beers and chips/ guacamole were a very kind gesture from the homeowners. We also had chef service bring a welcome package which was DELICIOUS. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Casa Fuente is just as described, amazing! The place is spacious and perfect for guests. The kitchen has everything you could need to make meals. The outdoor space is awesome. We didn't use the grill but it's top of the line should you want to take advantage of it. We enjoyed the AC considering the heat in Cabo was roughly around 95 degrees or so. The upstairs has large rooms, the one directly above the steps has a wonderful view of the water. The higher the property the better the view. This property is fairly high up, which takes a while to get to or exit once inside the Pedregal neighborhood. We took Uber's every time we left or returned. We were also being a bit lazy, we will blame the heat. You definitely can walk down leaving the place without difficulty, coming back, unless in shape or want a challenge I recommend a ride.
In addition, not to be overlooked, Angie and her team with the property management are responsive and there to help! We enjoyed using the smart TV at night to stream some concerts even. All and all, we loved our stay and highly recommend the property!

The property was very well maintained. You could immediately tell it was a villa that the owners love - not just a rental property. Perry and his team were very accommodating.

Christmas In Cabo
We had a wonderful time in Casa Fuente. The pictures are very accurate and the home is comfortable and beautifully decorated.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all utensils you would need to prepare a meal.
The beach at Pedregal is gorgeous! You cannot swim there though. The home is close to anything you might want to do in Cabo.
I will definitely stay there again!

Scenic Neighbourhood
We stayed 9 days in Casa and overall our experience was lovely. The home is spacious and inviting. The pool was terrific. The fridge was stocked with beer and water when we arrived, as well as chips, salsa and guacomole. Nice touch. The property manager Ana was terrific and was extremely responsive to anything we needed. Some things to mention if you are staying at Casa Fuentes - you should have a car as the casa is situated quite far into the neighborhood of Pedregal and quite remote from any stores, beach, shopping, etc. and taxis are very expensive here. It costs on average $15US to take a taxi from the casa into town one way. The Casa is well appointed, however, just some minor things to note - the linens, towels and pillows are quite worn, and should be replaced more frequently. Overall, value for the money, this is a good find in Pedregal.

Loved our first trip to Cabo!!
This was our familys first trip to Cabo and we loved it by staying in La Fuente at Pedregal. Our first time going to the house was a bit confusing, so drive it a few times and you will be fine. It was nice being close to the main part of town, the shops, the restaurants and the mall. We learned if you want to go walking around, park at the mall. We loved the home! The house is well kept . We enjoyed the pool, very warm. the development has a private beach, but you cant go swimming there, so find another beach to swim at. we would definitely come back to La Fuente,

Amazing!
Casa Fuente was a dream! Everyone (owner/hosts) were so helpful and prompt in responding to any questions we had. The house is exactly like the pictures and better. We spent our afternoons poolside in the sun having BBQ’s on the house grill and it was paradise. If you are looking for a beautiful and private place to relax with your group Casa Fuente is THE place to go!

Great House, Great, Sade Location.

Great location, quiet, beautiful sunrises, amazing concierge services. Space to spread out.
We loved staying in Pedregal, private beach (maybe 6 people in a very long and wide beach)and no vendors selling goods. Note, you can’t swim there or really even get close to the water. Ana, the property manager was AMAZING: quick to respond to every need and request. We would not hesitate to book here again. TIPS FOR FUTURE RENTERS: Have Ana, purchase groceries ahead of time or stop at the Walmart in town...it is 10 minutes away. The local organic grocery nearby is overly priced but well stocked. There is not really a keurig coffee maker, so just buy ground coffee. There is no soap or shampoo so be sure to bring your own. There is plenty of laundry, kitchen detergent, toilet paper, paper towels and beach towels, as well as a fully stocked kitchen. Water pressure is not great, best to not have more than one shower running at a time. All in all we loved it. The beds were very comfortable with nice sheets and each bedroom has an air-conditioner. A cleaning crew comes every other day which is very nice! We had Ana arrange for massages at the house...one of the best I’ve ever had!

sunrise at pedregal
The spacious villa was perfect for our family of 5 adults. We especially enjoyed the outdoor area by the pool where we could bbq, play cards, read and relax together. Morning sunrise outside the master BR was beautiful. Ana was very helpful and accommodating with good recommendations for restaurants and activities. The only glitch was a water issue one night, but Ana was quick to get someone out to repair the issue so it was only a minor inconvenience. Communication was efficient; the villa was clean and in a good location. We would all highly recommend Casa Fuente to friends and family.

Most perfect home to get some R&R. My family enjoyed it to the fullest. Can't wrong with a rental.
Most excellent service and support from both owners and Cabo rental managers. Beautiful home inside and out, access to all that we needed and it was the perfect size for a family of 6. We bought our own food at a Walmart for snacking and cooking for all 5-days that we were there. Location made it convenient to walk to Cabo's main pier, beaches, and pharmacies and convenient stores if needed. The home owners are registered members to the Pedregal spa, so we were able to use the spa services at our convenience. Super secure neighborhood, so peace of mind to walk around or go for a morning jog around the Pedregal neighborhood. My wife and I are runners, so we loved it. Housekeeping was done 2X in the 5-days we there. More than enough, but then again we are clean freaks. The swimming pool size and cleanliness was perfect. My kids loved it. We do plan to go back, and hopefully we can stay at same home and/or another home at the Pedregal.

Awesome home!
Our time at this beautiful villa was outstanding! The villa is very nice and very well taken care of. The pool was perfect and so was the back yard with the sitting areas and the full gas grill. I only wish it had a jacuzzi/hot tub but it was still perfect. We were 3 families and it was fine for all of us...we each had our own bedroom and bathroom, well the smaller bedroom has its bathroom in hall but that was fine, my parents did not mind at all. The Pedregal area is super nice and although its a little hard at first to find your way around the gated community, once you got the hang of it, you were pretty much set. I would recommend this house to anyone and would love to stay there again in the future. Thanks again!!

Wonderful Villa - highly recommend!
Our family of four stayed at Casa Fuente for a week. It is a beautiful house with virtually everything you could possibly need, including a binder with a long list of local information and recommended activities & restaurants. The house is located in an upscale gated community with 24 hour security. It was so much better than staying in a hotel!
The owner, Perry, was very responsive to my many email inquiries prior to our departure. The property manager, Rocio, was also very attentive. She arranged transportation to/from the airport with a stop on the way in at Costco for groceries, and was there on site to answer our questions.
Because of the high cost of mandatory Mexican auto insurance ($40+ per day) we opted not to a rent a car. We mostly took taxis to/from town, which were not cheap either ($20 each way). Sometimes we walked down the hill from the villa to town, just to save on taxi fare one way.
We walked uphill to the spa each morning - a good little hike - and took advantage of the facilities there. Beautiful views from there! Our two daughters had facials and pedicures, and thought their services were very good.
I would recommend stopping at the "California Ranch Market" close to the entrance to Pedregal. I believe it's called another name but that's what showed up on our credit card statement. Friendly staff and they speak English. Several times we picked up their fresh guacamole and salsa (awesome!) as well as a few other grocery items. They never had the guacamole or salsa on hand but would offer to make it with a 10 minute wait. We always arranged to pick it up at the end of the day on the way back to the villa. Also, from there a taxi ride back was $15, not the $20 it is from the beach or the center of town.
All in all, a great stay at Casa Fuente. Highly recommend!

The house is amazing, very spacious and clean!
The pictures don't do any justice, the home is beautiful in person and it's well kept. The location of the home is pretty far from downtown or beach(walking) and I'm pretty sure you would have to be in shape to do that walk since the house is up a hill. There was no way we would walk. We had a rental or we would call security and they would send us a taxi. But again not far driving wise. The house comes with a binder full of information which we found useful. We requested a few items like water and snacks to be at the house and that was fulfilled at small cost but thankful since we arrived pretty late at night, we had no time to stop at any market. The back yard was amazing it was furnished to accommodate all 7 of us and more this is definitely a family home. The pool was a nice touch to have but a lot of tree and flower petals residue fall in there so it makes look dirty but we kept cleaning it with net. This could of have been because of the strong wild wind we experienced during our stay. This house has everything you need, I can't complain. But I would recommend a shower curtain in the master bath because the water splashes outside the tub and the tile is slippery. Overall it's a great house for just adults or families with kids. I loved it ! We all did
