Well laid out home in a terrific location.

This was the perfect location. Quick drive north to Tillamook or south to Lincoln city. Loved that the beach access was right outside the back door. Beds were comfortable. We ordered food from pelican brewery right down the street and it was delicious!

Lovely home with stunning views. However, I would not recommend this home to families with young children or adventurous dogs. We arrived at the home and it was 78 degrees inside. Only the windows on the sides of the home open, and they don't provide much airflow. There are signs in the home stating that you should keep windows and door open to cool the home. The issue we had is that several of the few windows that opened did not have screens, nor did the doors have any screen or storm doors, so there was no barrier to stop our dog from leaving the home.
Even so, with the windows and doors wide open, by the second day (an unseasonably warm day) the home reaches 82 degrees inside. We called customer service to ask about someone dropping off fans (there were only 2 fans that did not move much air) and we were told there was no "local team who could drop off fans" but that customer service would send along a message. We never received a call back from anyone regarding our request.
Additionally, in the main bedroom, if you leave the window open (which you must in order to maintain a reasonable temperature) the blinds bang against the window all night. So, your options are to be too warm at night, open the windows and pull the blinds down for.privacy but be annoyed by loud banging all night, or leave the blinds completely open so that folks on the beach or in the home next door can see directly into the room.

This home is beautiful! We love Pacific City and the location is walkable to Pelican Brewing Co., the coffee shop, sand dune, etc. but also far away enough where you feel like you have much of the beach to yourself. I always look for a house that is also homey and comfortable since we use it as our home away from home rather than just a place to stay. It definitely fit what we wanted. My son, who is 13, even spent the morning and evenings working on puzzles which never happens at our actual home in Wisconsin LOL. The house does get pretty warm during the day so we had a to close a couple of shades and turn the fan on. Opening the kitchen windows also let some cool fresh air in. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this home to anyone looking for a great stay on the beach!

We enjoyed staying here with family. The beach access is nice & convenient but they need to maintain the view of the living room instead of the pile of sand so high you can't actually see the ocean. The home itself could use some attention - the broken bed rail (someone has mentioned in a review previously), the cookware, etc. You are definitely paying for the beachfront access but this property could really have some small tweaks that would make it more of a 5 star stay.

We loved your home and plan on booking it again. We had so much fun and created so many unforgettable memories...simply the best. Great location, great views, great amenities. It couldn't have been better. Thank you!

Great property, location and layout. Well stocked for the most part and we had an absolute blast. Could use some more forks and spoons but thats really the only issue we had, so that should tell you something. Would absolutely stay again.

Beautiful home in the perfect location. Sits right on the beach inside a gated community. Great for kids with a bunk room & lots of room to play.

We loved the open space in the home and the amazing view and easy access to the beach.

The ONLY downfall of this beautiful home was the outdated furniture. The couch was very used and dirty, but comfy. The king bed was super squeeky, not great for mom and dad if you know what I mean. The dishwasher worked but I felt for the price all of those things could have been better. Especially the couch. Everything else was amazing. The master bath was beautiful the view was spectacular. We really enjoyed ourselves and would stay there again. I’d hope to see new furniture by then though.

This property is stunning! The kitchen is stocked with all needed necessities. The views are unbeatable. Couch is comfy and large enough for the entire family to lounge on and enjoy the view. We will definitely be back.

Our family have been staying here every summer for our yearly family getaway. You have direct beach access & the views are amazing, making it the perfect place to stay.
We have raised some concerns we’ve had & we noticed that this year they were finally able to get most of them addressed. The couch that has been an ongoing issue is still there which is disappointing considering on the listing, it states there is a sleeper couch - however with the condition of the couch & the sleeper, it is nowhere near the condition to sleep on. Hopefully they can replace it sooner rather than later.
They did however build stairs going down to the beach - which is definitely a HUGE plus. They also replaced the entertainment center and TV in the living room, the area rug as well as replaced the chairs in the dining room.
We definitely look forward to staying again, & are hopeful that at our return the couch will finally be replaced.

Highly recommend!

Very pretty home and spectacular views. The house does need a deep clean and there are several small but important maintenance needs. Would definitely use the property management again, but NOT this house. Way over priced for the condition and level of cleanliness (dirty pots and pans, dirty blankets, etc.)

Perfect location in a well maintained and gated community directly on the beach, walking distance to Pelican Brewing and other spots. Everything was easy, comfortable, and reflected accurately in the listing. Big windows throughout offer incredible views, and there are easy to use blinds when needed. We'd recommend this spot to enjoy Pacific City and explore the surrounding areas.

Right on the Sand!
The house had a great view and was right on the sand. It would’ve been nice to have a deck to put some chairs on instead of being in the sand when outside, but it’s still worked. There were no coffee tables And just one bedside table and not too many extras. The bunkbeds in the back room definitely needed new mattresses however both other bedrooms beds were great. The view was fabulously spectacular and wonderful large dining table was a nice place to center around. Overall a bit expensive but it was a fabulous trip😘

Dog friendly with a perfect location
We loved that the house was “lived in” and felt comfortable with our dogs, sand and salt. The views are spectacular and the location can’t be beat. We loved the large table/bench and spent most of our time there with the windows open!! A few notes for the owners… We had no dishwasher (but Vacasa credited our stay to accommodate), the couch is completely trashed and had a big hole in it (but again, super dog friendly), the kitchen DOES NOT have any spices/oils, and finally there are ZERO side tables so we used chairs to hold our drinks. It’s a great place though and recommend it if you’re not too fussy, want a HUGE view, easy access and love your dogs.

Has a fantastic stay! Love this house and location. Dishwasher being broken and extra bathroom toilet running continuously was a bit inconvenient, but we managed 🤗

Ocean Front Exploring
We had a great stay and enjoyed the huge windows that look right out to the ocean and seascape. The large open floor plan allowed for everyone to be together while also having some space to play games at the kitchen table or chill on the couch. Beds were comfortable and the bunk room was nice for the kids. Overall the house was up to date but has some heavy use showing on the couch and bottom rack of the dishwasher but served our group well.

Immediately upon entry the view takes your breath away! The home is as advertised with minimal exceptions. The home is very spacious and open.
Although the view is what you pay for, there were a couple things that should be addressed that impact guests.
The furniture needs replaced, the couch is soiled and has a large gouge in one of the cushions...We remedied this by bringing extra blankets to cover the sofa. The dining table is very unstable and wobbly. There was a broken rail in one of the bunk beds and they aren't comfortable for older teens, ours survived but comfort is key. The radiant floor heating is inconsistent in many areas and the heating/cooling was hard to maintain a comfortable temperature. We all brought slippers. The trash compactor was not functional, but based on reviews it sounds like it. Has been that way for a while and should be removed entirely.
All of that being said, it did not impact fun and lasting memories made on our trip. We would love to rebook for our annual family trip with those upgrades completed.

We loved our stay
We had a wonderful family time at this beach escape. There are so many wonderful features about this house and we felt comfortable and able to settle in there. Yes there are some issues, noted by many, and we knew what to expect. We have new family memories thanks to the house and it’s location.

Loved the house!
Loved the house! A few things I didnt like: There was no firewood for the fireplace, we were only able to use the fireplace one time. The toaster doesnt work and the couch is pretty broken down and very hard to get out of. Loved the views from the living room. Only other thing is there is no direct beach access unless you are a kid and able to climb down and back up the sand dunes. I plan on using vacasa again the next time we plan a trip to the coast.

Perfect view of the beach
The reason for the 3 stars was. The furniture was filthy, the rollout carpets were a pet toilet. The TV's did not work, The fireplace flu was clogged, (I fixed that, after the room smoked up) The grill fuel was empty. The master bedroom had no heat, although they did have an electric heater. And finally there was a $129 extra fee per day then they added another $390 for a resort fee at checkout.

Second time in this wonderful house
We truly enjoyed our second visit to this perfectly located beach house. The view is unparalleled. However, for the very high nightly price the owner/property manager do need to step it up: Burnt out light bulbs above the sink in the master bath. After 1.5 years the trash compactor remains broken and it's very hard to open/close (either fix it or remove it and put a real garbage can?). The tree stump remains the only stepping "stone" to get down to the beach passage from the back door area. The refrigerator froze all of our veggies so it needs to be looked at. Finally, as many others have mentioned - the L-shaped couch is uncomfortable and trashed with rips and burn marks. May we suggest a U-shaped couch facing the TV? But all in all, this is a great and very well built house and we especially love the kitchen, dining and living room great room area.

Very nice home right on the Pacific Ocean and beach. Amazing!! Great fireplace that made the rainy day cozy while staying inside.

Beautiful view but definitely needs to be cleaned better. Sand in the twin beds before we even used them, they also had spider webs all over them. The master shower was clogged with hair before we even used it. The Couch needs replaced has Cigarette burns stains and tears all over it! The stump out the side door is a safety hazard. You definitely can’t beat the view but for the price you pay I definitely think it needs to be cleaned better and a few upgrades.

Beautiful views!
You can’t beat the location a views. A few more windows that open would be nice...and maybe something other than a stump out the back door. But those things don’t really matter when you are staying on the beach

Great location and house
This house was a great place to stay for our annual trip to the coast. It for all of us very comfortably with the kids calling the bunk bed room “the dorm”. The kitchen was well equipped and made cooking easy. The grill was out of propane but that was easily remedied. The only thing that would make this house better would be a deck but we still enjoyed ourselves and the house.

The view!!!
So all in all, this house is fantastic. I saw many reviews bagging on little stuff, and ya, maybe for the price, the little stuff should be better taken care of. But really, the view and the location and the huge great room to hang out with everyone far outweighed any negatives. Like there are a bunch of lightbulbs that need changing, my wife was bummed there wasn’t a hairdryer, there’s a missing cabinet door in the master bath. the fridge froze all of our veggies and we didn’t see a dial to adjust it. But I’d absolutely rent this his house again without hesitation. Also, it’s the best stocked kitchen, equipment wise, that I’ve ever rented. Tons of silverware, pots, pans, plates, decent chef knife, even a fancy new Ninja blender! The house would really really be way better with a deck, but I’d imagine that’s in the plan. Oh one thing, the main seller is the view, it’s spectacular, BUT,,, only 3 of the 10 beach facing windows were cleaned. The others were so caked with salt that it made for a hazy view. So we went outside. Still,,,, I’d rent it again. And the gas grill, i went to move it and it just about collapsed,,,, sooo time for a new one. Salt air does damage fast. One review I gotta call out, no names, but the person that complained that there’s “just so much sand everywhere” uhhhh ya, it’s a front row beach house, maybe stay in the city if you’re afraid of sand. So, the house is really awesome. Heated concrete floors, great view, comfy beds, at least the master, well stocked equipment in the kitchen(not spices ans such) huge dining table, huge couch, huge garage and front row on the sand looking at the rock. Overall, we’re super happy and will for sure be back.
