About this bed and breakfast

If you looking for a quiet break with the best of country as well as being close to town this is the place. A cozy private self contained apartment with a great deck to relax on and enjoy amazing views. Only 2 hours from Auckland and very central to many tourist destinations including Hobbiton, Waitomo Caves as well as beaches.Ideal for professionals.

Cambridge views is located 5 kms from the centre of Cambridge which has a large number of cafes and a local market every Saturday. Cambridge is easily accessible by car or bike. There are many bike tracks nearby as well as the Avantidrome. Lake Karapiro is located 10 minutes away which is very popular for rowing and summer water sports.

Wifi and Sky are provided and there is a spa and pool available on the property.

A simple breakfast is also provided. There is also a gas stove top in the kitchen and cooking facilities so that guests can do their own cooking.

Please note the room has a queen bed and a portable single bed is available on request for extra guests.

Lovely rural stay just out of Cambridge for visiting friends and doing the Hobbiton tour. Elevated view over a green valley to the hills. Comfortable bed and everything we needed. Highly recommended.

For Lord of the Rings and Hobbit fans, this accommodation was our own slice of "The Shire". The room with queen bed was very comfortable, with absolutely stunning views from the adjoining deck. The kitchen was clean and neat and the bathroom modern and simple. The location was great, being only a couple of minutes from the centre of Cambridge. I would definitely recommend Kate's place!

This nice little property is located separate from, but on the same lot as the (presumed) owner's property. Plenty of driveway space, easy access, and a code-controlled gate access entering the property. The bed was comfortable with a nice view out of the back, a good-sized TV (if desired) and convenient wifi add to the comforts. A fresh loaf of bread was a nice treat, as was the coffee options in place.

A cozy cottage close to Cambridge with full kitchen and modern bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and the views across fields to the hills was amazing. The host left breakfast, milk and a lovely loaf. Booking and entry to the cottage was smooth. Perfect for a weekend away.

The view was much more than advertised,it was incredible. Everything about our stay was just fantastic. The bed was comfortable, the couch was the comfiest spot to sip coffee and stare out at the view, we appreciated the delicious bread and breakfast bits. The property was well equipped with everything we needed, was very clean, and if we ever make our way back to NZ we will stay here again. Thank you so much for everything.

Great location to just hole up for a few nights to decompress between busy visits with friends and family around the North Island. It has everything you need, great kitchen, lovely outlook and some friendly canine companions if you need some company!

Kate was extremely accommodating and we felt very comfortable when she left us to our own plans, after introductory pleasantries. The place itself was exceptionally clean and an absolute delight to stay in, not too small to feel claustrophobic, and yet also not too big to feel too spaced out or tedious to move around. Just right, in our personal opinion :) The bed was extremely comfortable, complimentary bread was divine for our toasty breakfasts, TV was equipped with both Sky and Chromecast so our entertainment needs were easily met, and the outdoor deck and view was even better than pictured. All in all we loved this bach and would absolutely recommend to small groups looking for a comfortable, friendly, quiet and central stay in Cambridge :D 10/10, would happily go back to pet the friendly golden retriever again!

Excellent accommodation with great views, home made cereal, weetbix and a loaf of sour dough bread to welcome you. Bed was lovely and soft and I had 2 great nights sleep. Nice, quiet, relaxing stay only 4 mins to town. Thank you Kate.

Owner was very accommodating. Place was secure and cosy with nice views and peaceful surroundings. Plenty of space for us to set up the portacot for 3month old comfort. The owner left us a loaf of fresh bread which was a nice homely touch. Very clean and tidy. Friendly animals around the place.
