Across the hall, there are 2 extra-long twin beds plus two more singles, for a total of 4 single beds, great for kids or teens. There is a small covered porch off the 3rd floor center hall directly facing the ocean. It just might be the best view in Cape May!
In addition, there is a multi-purpose hang out room on the ground level with a high end murphy bed, for a quick conversion to a 10th bedroom. This space has an ensuite full bathroom.
Most beds have pillow mattress toppers for maximum sleeping comfort. All bedrooms offer TVs and ceiling fans. The entire house has 3-zone central heat/air conditioning.

The house was perfect for our large group of friends. We had kids all ages and the house was large enough to accommodate 6 families. Location was perfect, right in the center of town and we were able to walk everywhere. Would definitely visit again!

What a wonderful time we had celebrating my husband’s 70th Birthday. All our children and grandchildren were there. The house was warm and welcoming and certainly had enough comfortable accommodations for all 18 of us, ranging from age 70 to 2! Look forward to returning in the future! Great front porch, beautiful ocean view! Great location!! Thank you, Vicki!

This was an amazing mix of old Cape May with modern conveniences, all wrapped up in an updated, spacious home.

Couldn’t ask for a better property:
- on beach
- easy walk to downtown with multiple shops and restaurants
- minutes drive to boat tours, parasailing and more
- perfect place to watch fireworks
- fantastic house! Charmining historic home with plenty of room to spread out. Multiple areas to relax in both inside and out. House was clean and a nice mix of old charm and modern conveniences. Laundry, kitchen and eating space provided ample room for activities.
- ample parking
Couldn’t think of anything lacking.
Plan to return!

The house was great with many updates and you just can't beat being ocean front. It was a lot of house for only 10 of us (6 adults and 4 children) but it was so nice to have the large front living and dining rooms that allowed us all to be together. We spent much time on the front porch that has comfortable seating for everyone. Fenced back yard was great for kids to play. Also very nice to have off street parking for our 3 SUVs.

The Griscom House was absolutely perfect for our group of 19 ladies! The house is even better in person than in the photos! The historic charm mixed with recent upgrades and renovations provided a comfortable first-class stay! The house came well-equipped with everything we needed and even some extras for things we may have forgotten! We loved spending time on the front porch and joining around the beautiful dining room table to enjoy group meals. You will not regret staying at this house!

Our group of three families gathered in Cape May to celebrate the holiday and end of COVID shutdowns. House held all of us very well. Despite the rain, we enjoyed walking into town and along the beach. Hope to be back.

This house is in the best Cape May location. Close to beach and all things walkable. House has everything you need for a great beach trip. Owner was very helpful and responsive, would rent again. The unseasonably warm weather was a bonus!

This is an absolutely unique, historic home in the perfect beachfront location! It is beautiful. Sitting on this porch really makes you feel like a Cape May VIP. In Cape May it’s all about the porch and, honestly, we’ve stayed in many houses in Cape May over the years and nothing compares to this. This was also a special event for our entire family, ages ranging from 9-84. Even with 20 people, we had excess room- this house is huge. The owners were a pleasure to work with. They told us in advance that they had just raised the elevation of the house and some items were still in transition. These were very minor things that did not impact our stay at all. The renovations are beautiful and it was impressive to see what must be significant investment going in to preserve this house for many years to come. The other review I read here from the same time period when we stayed is a complete misrepresentation based on our experience.

The house was dirty, smelt, had live wires exposed, chandelier was hanging off with wires exposed, there was no grass in front lawn, contractor came to the home said that no one should be staying there because it’s unsafe. We left the house after the first night and checked into a hotel. I want money back from them and need to be reimbursed for my horrible experience.
