About this apartment rental

This is a 2 bedroom unit in the Snowshoe's newest, highest rated building. There is an upscale steakhouse on the first floor. Rentals are accomplished easily and Elk River Snowboard and ski on the first floor; they are open late to allow you to rent the night before you ski (visit ridesnowshoe.com) Lift tickets can be purchased just outside the door in the Top of the World building normally, but during the pandemic they should be reserved well before arrival. The adjacent high speed quad lift services some of the best slopes on the mountain, and the heated garage below can be a lifesaver in the winter. Each unit has a designated locker near the slope for ski equipment. The unit generally can sleep 6, but there are two cots and a fold out couch in the living room so two couples with kids can sometimes make it work for 8. We will leave the keys in a lockbox in the front foyer but as these are "permanent" keys they must be returned.

This two bedroom unit was perfect for our extended weekend. It was extremely clean and all appliances and amenities worked without issue. There are plenty of dishes and cookware for your needs as well. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent layout for 2 families/couples and a responsive owner. We loved the mid-March storm that turned the mountain into a winter wonderland and the fighter jets that roared overhead and gave us a bit of a show. Probably the most luxurious property and set up available at the resort. Note, that we're not skiers so can't comment much, but I think you can ski out from this location Pros Stunning mountain views from front and rear of property TWO heated underground garage parking spaces (lockers too) THREE outdoor hot tubs Evening roaring fires in the stunning 2-story lobby/lounge Fabulous steakhouse with bar on the ground floor Bedrooms and bathrooms on opposite sides of the condo separated by living area is a great layout Nicely decorated in a lodge/arts and crafts theme Unit on top floor so great views and no disturbance from neighbors above Linens and basics (starting toilet paper, handsoap, paper towels, garbage bags, dish soap) provided Next to Top of the World for equipment rental Quiet, but a shuttle stop away from the activity in the village Cons A bit quiet if you're seeking a party atmosphere Spotty cell reception on the mountain, but solid wifi at the property We found Kevin's condo to be a well-stocked luxury vacation rental and Kevin to be a friendly and responsive owner. The biggest tip we would offer is to bring in your food (we did a Costco run for prepared meals, salads and fruits and veggies). The market on the mountain has limited stock.

The place was very clean and had all the necessary features we needed for our ski weekend. The owner was very responsive as we had an initial check-in issue and rectified it immediately. Would stay again.

We had an amazing long weekend of skiing, lots of snow. The property is super convenient to the slopes. There was plenty of room for a family of five, the cots were great (I thought they would be for small kids, but my teenage son slept in it fine). Clean and well stocked kitchen.

My friend and I have stayed in this unit twice now. Soaring Eagle is a great property with underground parking. It has one of the shortest ski in-ski out setups we have experienced at Snowshoe. The building is beginning to show its age, and the hot tubs were having issues where one might be out of service at any given time. One of the elevators was malfunctioning which was an annoyance. That all said, this was a good value for the money paid, and I hope to rent it again in the future.

Wonderful long weekend in Snowshoe. Fresh snow with most runs open. The condo was well stocked and centrally located. Kevin is a great host. Check in was a breeze and responded quickly to questions.

The property was nothing short of amazing. From the underground garage to the home location, it was all amazing. Owners were easy to communicate with. We walked to the lockers, put on our gear, and walked to the slopes. It was the best trip. The heated hot tubs in 20-degree weather were an amazing way to relax.

Wonderful stay at Soaring Eagle with a terrific host! Check-in was easy - able to bypass typical drama (i.e. long lines) at Top of the World. Love the indoor parking, and location is great for families: lift access directly outside, and free shuttle to village and Silver Creek every 10 minutes or so.

Property was as described, perfect location at the top of the mountain perfect for catching a long run first thing in the morning to warm up your legs. Clean and well equipped. Our kids had planned on sharing beds with each other. However the kids decide to sleep on the camping cots they discovered in the closet. These were probably the most comfortable ones they had ever slept on. Hot tubs were great for relaxing in after skiing all day. Parking was great, easy access to the room for packing/unpacking as well as not having to clear off the snow on your car. Would recommend to anyone, best condo we have stayed in at snowshoe thus far. Plan on renting again.

Soaring Eagle is a great facility at Snowshoe. With a commanding view of the southern end of the resort and quick access to the slopes, you really can't go wrong here. This unit is equipped like many of the units in the building. Plush beds, large bathrooms and nice kitchens make staying here very comfortable. Three hot tubs for post ski relaxing are available for your use. The chemicals in the one of the hot tubs seemed off, but this may have been an isolated issue. Snowshoe shutoff our building/room access keys a couple of hours before checkout which made for quite a hassle trying to leave on checkout day which cost it one star on the overall rating.

Great location, loved having lockers for skis, the condo was clean and kitchen well equipped, and beds were okay. Our only real complaint is the check in process. You get in a line at another property to get your keys. It took us about 20 minutes to get keys. Other than that, good experience.

We had four excellent nights at Soaring Eagle 407. The unit is the cleanest and one of the nicest condos that you can find for rent at Snowshoe. The heated garage was awesome given that we were traveling with two children and, overall, I would recommend this unit to almost anyone.

Had a great time because of this condo. There was plenty of elbow room. There were lockers on the ground floor to store your gear, right on the slope. I really enjoyed loading up in the heated garage, when it was -10 degrees outside. Easy to communicate with the owner.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Soaring Eagle Lodge in Snowshoe this summer! The views are breathtaking and the cool mountain air was a wonderful break from the heat. Snowshoe has lots to offer in the summer and we loved being there during a week when no big events were scheduled since there were no crowds. Kevin was great to work with. The keys didn't work when we got there but we were able to get them replaced at the Allegheny Springs Lodge which serves as the main summer information station. You will only have cell service when you are immediately in Snowshoe Village, so download the map for the region in advance so you can use google maps offline. The condo and most businesses will have free wi-fi.
