Our peaceful lakefront cottage has everything you need to make memories for a lifetime during your getaway to Table Rock Lake. Recently updated with Central Heat and Air Conditioning! A great place to stay to get away from the huddle and bustle.

We had a nice stay…it was quiet, a short walk to the dock and very close to the marina. The house has everything you need & was well stocked and clean. The beds were comfortable. The only downside was the deck and outdoor furniture needed cleaning and we were unable to use the grill because it was extremely dirty. Overall, we had a great time on this family trip & would recommend this place if you want to get away from it all and spend time on the lake!

We enjoyed our visit. Loved the dock and boat slip. Wish there was more than one bathroom but all rooms with the exception of the bathroom were large, lots of room. The one bathroom was very small. Had difficulty with the digital lock as batteries were out. But we really did enjoy our stay!

Maybe our fifth time staying at Fish Hook. Love to escape there, great memories!!
Haven't been back for 3 years, and seems the sulfur in the well water is much worse. Don't know what can be done to remedy that

This was a great place to stay! The house was clean and roomy, with a beautiful deck view of the lake. The dock made lake access very simple. My kids and grandchildren had an absolute blast fishing and swimming. We will be staying here again.

This was our 4th year staying here. Great location, nice neighborhood, plenty of room for all ages. Having the boat dock to use gave us more fun time. We will be back.

Could be great but not appropriate to rent in July and August.
Had I realized the AC of this place was a small window unit trying to cool an 1800 square foot place, I would not have rented this in the 100 degree heat of southern Missouri in July. The house wouldn’t cool enough to be comfortable for sleep until after midnight each night. And the dozen fans running to move air made it difficult to talk to one another. This will be a really great place when it has central air or more window units.

Summer vacation
Overall a great time. The only 4 star I gave was due to some bad deck boards. Property manager was fast on response when needed.

Family Stay
Very clean home, we loved the hard wood floors, the home was plenty big enough for 5 people. All the rooms were good sized. Full kitchen was great, as we ate all of our meals there. The bedrooms were nice size, and the beds were comfortable. The one bathroom is small but we all made it work. Having the dock for the boat during the day was very convenient. Literally the only somewhat negative was the AC, we all bring our own fans when we travel and had the one there going at all times, so it was fine sleeping and during the day if we were inside it was still cool.

Relaxing trip
We really enjoyed the property, especially the deck and the dock. We didn’t have any cell service at the house and the wifi was down, which probably made it more enjoyable instead of less.
If you are a coffee drinker, take extra bottled water. They have a Bunn maker and we’ll water and it gave the coffee an odd taste. Will want to run a couple cycles thru with just bottled water before making a pot. That was really our only “complaint”.

Beautiful spot on the lake
We like this house and the great yard with easy lake access. Having a dock to use is great. I’m not complaining, but just saying, if you’re light sensitive like we are, and don’t want to get up with the sun, better bring sleep masks. Sure wish the bedrooms had black out curtains. Bring your own towels so you don’t have to worry about washing theirs the morning of check out. And a bath rug. And a coffee pot. Think the one there needs retiring. Small price to pay for a great house and fantastic location!

Great place on Table Rock Lake
The house was very clean and well-cared-for. The home is older but with many upgrades. That and the owner's personalized decorating give it a friendly character. There were 8 of us (3 generations) and I was concerned about having only one small bathroom, and only a single window air conditioner in the living room. However, bathroom bottlenecks were rarely an issue, and the entire home, including bedrooms were very comfortable, despite that the weather was hot most of the time we were there. The dock has an amazing covered boat slip, and the property is on a quiet branch of the lake, with the main channel nearby where there is plenty of room for towing water skiers, tubes, etc. Since the Army Corps of Engineers does not allow renters to keep boats on the lake overnight, we rented a slip at the Big M marina, which is about a mile and a half from the house. Note that the marina is in Big M Park, which is also run by the Army Corps, so you need to either have a federal pass or pay a daily access fee. Other than that, it is quite convenient, and the marina has gas and a store with ice cream, a few food items and boating/fishing supplies.

Labor Day weekend
We had a great stay at this property the location was perfect. Having the dock to hang out on a jump off of was perfect for the adults and kids the deck was very relaxing to sit out on in the morning with our coffee or in the evening with a glass of wine. We brought along a dog and he had a blast the neighbors were very friendly as well. The sulfur smell from the well was overwhelming most of our stay and the king mattress was pretty uncomfortable. I did appreciate all the clocks. Overall it was a wonderful week and we will be renting it out next year hopefully!

Family lake time
House was exactly like pictures. You may want to bring sleep masks unless you want to wake up with the sun. One tiny bathroom and small kitchen were a challenge but we managed.

Great location!
The location was ideal. Being able to use a private dock was also a great experience and rare in vrbos at Tablerock. There is no central air which was semi tough on our group. We had to keep doors open for sleep to get the air from the living room, which is hard when you have little ones. We were close to big M marina for rentals which was also great! Overall, we were pleased with our stay! We will likely pick a property with another bathroom and dishwasher next time, but the views and proximity to the lake are hard to beat!

Great Area of the Lake!
We LOVE this part of Table Rock Lake as it's on a nice quiet cover which is great for swimming and watersports. The private dock is a huge plus and very hard to find for a rental house on the lake. The property manager was super responsive to any questions we had and went out of their way to ensure we had an incredible time on our holiday weekend stay. We have been coming for four years now and will continue to come back to this gem on the lake!

Very clean and great location.
This house has everything you need and plenty of space to spend time with family. The bathroom is a little crowded for that many people but there are plenty of extra linens which we appreciated. We enjoyed staying here!

Relaxing Family Spring Break Getaway to the Lake
Lakeside home with views inside and decks to watch kids fishing and playing ball in the open field. Comfortable beds and appreciated the quality of linens and towels. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Enjoyed walking the dog in the surrounding area. Thank you!

Beautiful Lake View
The lake house was nestled in a quiet neighborhood and right on the lake. You can walk right out to the boat dock and bring your own boat. We visited during December so we did not bring a boat. There is a nice long deck you can sit on and watch the sun set or just relax and enjoy nature and the view. The house had a nice layout. The view from the living room was beautiful. I recommend some window coverings as the sun shines right in your eyes if you are watching television. We cooked a full on Christmas dinner and had everything we needed except a turkey pan, which we ended up buying at The Dollar General not too far away. One of the larger rooms does not have a closet but has plenty of drawers. The other two rooms have good sized closet space. The heater worked great and there are newer appliances, including a washer and dryer, but NO dishwasher. We were not happy about having to wash our own towels and sheets prior to leaving. VRBO instructions go on and on about what you must do and clean but the booklet in the home mentions washing, drying and putting away all towels but leaving soiled sheets in the hamper provided. We travel a lot and never before have we had to wash our own towels and sheets and pay a cleaning fee. We are very clean people and always clean up well before leaving any property. We had to put the sheets and blanket on the bed. They are all laid out on each bed for each room but you have to make the bed yourself. That was different. The kitchen is a decent size and the large table in the dining room is nice. The couch is very cozy and the king bed we slept on was very comfy. I would recommend TV trays for the living room so you have a place other than the small coffee table to set your drink, etc. The bathroom is very small. I would recommend a larger mirror and a shelf for toiletries. The water was hot and lasted a nice long shower. I would recommend a full length mirror in the hallway across from the bathroom and kleenex in the bedrooms would be nice. We enjoyed our time and esp the view and critters and nature. We saw all kinds of beautiful birds, squirrels, geese and deer almost every morning and evening. The lake house was very clean. We recommend some updates on paint and decor and most definitely the sewer. Every time we turned on the water, there was an awful, foul sulfur like smell that was hard to get used to. This is something that should be fixed or mentioned prior to booking.

Lots of Space
This property has a large central room for dining, board games, and group gatherings. The sitting area is not large but connects directly to the larger space so would be very workable for a group. The bedrooms are as shown but I didn’t find the king mattress very comfortable. My biggest issue was the size of the bathroom - remember there is only one and it is extremely narrow. Lots of nice towels though and the washer/dryer is handy. Also, be sure you understand that the dock space included is the second dock from the house which is just a boat/swimming dock. I inadvertently thought the one closest to the house with the sitting area went with the house and since that was my main reason for choosing the property it was a big disappointment. You can’t really cast from the boat dock so fishing off it would be difficult. If you want to boat and swim the dock area is great. Overall, it didn’t work for what I wanted but could be good for those basically seeking water access. The grill had not been cleaned when we arrived but not sure we would have used it anyway. Property manager was very responsive.

Beautiful and clean
We had the best stay at this beautiful home with gorgeous views! The house was so unbelievably clean, the furniture was very comfortable, and the pictures were very accurate. The house had the necessary basics for us and thanks to the detailed information given beforehand, there were no surprises. It was very secluded in the off season which we were hoping for. We had a great time hiking at Roaring River State Park and relaxing on the dock. Our kids and dogs had a blast. It was our first trip to the Ozarks but won’t be our last!
