About this cabin rental

Cabin Fever is a beautiful log home located in Black Bear Falls, Gatlinburg's community. This log home is decorated in rustic log furnishings and original photos from local photographers. Located just a few minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, but in a setting you'll feel like you're miles back in the woods.

Cabin Fever has two covered porches. The full covered back porch allows you privacy whether you are rocking in rocking chairs, or enjoying a dip in the outdoor jacuzzi while viewing the beautiful woods and a clear shot of Mt Leconte. You will love the swing on the porch.

Cabin fever has two bedrooms, each having unique log furniture from out West, and gorgeous log walls. Each suite has king beds, and a jacuzzi tub in a separate bathroom. Giving each guest their privacy while sharing this beautifully decorated cabin. The upstairs bedroom is open to below, as it is a loft bedroom.

The full kitchen allows you to stay in while enjoy cooking and dining, or enjoy cooking out on the charcoal grill. The kitchen is fully furnished. You'll enjoy the beautiful scenery from a top black bear falls. One of the best views in Black bear falls. You'll enjoy sitting out in the wooden rockers on the full size porch year round. Or maybe the outdoor hot tub on the deck is more your taste. Either way, you'll feel very relaxed in this setting. Enjoy a warm fire in the rustic rock fireplace located in your den, surrounded by windows with beautiful woods surrounding you.

Cabin fever is located within two miles of downtown, and is an easy drive to the National park for a hike, wildlife viewing, or a short drive to the grocery, shopping and Dollywood. The community for Cabin Fever also has a pool and clubhouse for rental guests.

Enjoy complimentary WiFi while staying at Cabin Fever, so bring your wireless capable computer. Also we offer free long distance calls. there is a ethernet cable on site too.

Guest have loved this cabin. Our no smoking policy has allowed us to keep the cabin clean and enjoyable for all. And yes we welcome your well behaved, house trained, and flea controlled pets. A small non-refundable pet fee of $50 per pet applies. You will love our new fenced in area for dogs....We love dogs too !! We also supply a dog gate if you choose to use to contain your pet in the house in an area.

This cabin in the woods was the perfect stay for us. The home is clean, spacious, and well laid out. We had everything we needed, the owner was very responsive, and the porch was just perfect--a great mountain view for our morning coffee in rocking chairs, and a big hot tub after a long vacation day! Our family of 6 enjoyed the National Park (where we saw 2 bears!) and loved every minute of Dollywood's water park. The location of this rental is ideal: close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg but just far enough away from the busyness to enjoy the beauty and quiet of the area. Highly recommend!

My family of 5 really enjoyed our stay. It was very peaceful and comfortable. The decor was also very cool. The kids loved the hot tub and location close to all the shops and restaurants. The host was also very responsive. We would love to stay here again.

This log cabin getaway was just what we were looking for. The cabin itself was beautiful, the views gorgeous, and the time spent with friends priceless. We couldn't have asked for a better place. Our host, Melanie, was quick to respond to us and even kind enough to send us a video of the local bears coming to say "hi" on our first night there. This is definitely not a spot to be missed. Thank you Melanie for sharing your cabin with us.

We were in town briefly for a sports clinic at Rocky Top. This cabin was beautiful, clean and so cozy! The deck with swing, rockers and hot tub had a nice view of the mountains as did the bedrooms. The community the cabin is in has all paved roads and even has a community pool for the cabins. We would stay here again.

The cabin was an excellent place to stay! Very clean and very cozy. My small dog that was with me loved this place! She kept exploring the little yard we had and loved being on the back deck with us relaxing. I will say this place was a perfect get away for me and my family. Great view, comfy vibes, and overall a pleasant vacation!

This place was beautiful! It was equipped with everything in the kitchen and bath. The hot tub was clean and working perfectly. The beds were comfy and cozy. I loved the fireplace on the cool night, and the AC was so cold through the day. I would pick this cabin again, and again. The host was super nice when I had contacted her earlier on, and very kind. Check-in was a piece of cake. I would give this place a 10 hands down!

Cabin Fever was a delightful getaway between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. My mom, sister, and our dog visited recently and had a wonderful stay. The views are stunning and the cabin itself is very comfortable and has all the amenities a visitor might want.

Second visit to this cabin.. perfect in every way. Our most favorite cabin and locations. Talked with the owner, due to a door lock issue with cabin. She was wonderful, so delightful and accommodating. Problem was resolved immediately. We will definitely plan another stay in Cabin Fever. Great vacation!

We had a great time at this beautiful house. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the mountains, and close enough to get ot all the attractions in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, or for gorgeous drive to Cade's Cove to see some bears. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in town.

A beautiful cabin that is located perfectly to give a secluded feeling while still being close to all of the fun that Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge offer. The cabin was tastefully decorated and the bed was very comfortable! The property owner was also very friendly. I would highly recommend and plan to return!

Our family had the best stay at this cabin. Perfect size for the 5 of us, we even were able to bring our small dog! The cabin is so well kept, clean and comfortable with anything we could need. The view is incredible and location is PERFECT. So close to downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge! We had so many options of fun things to do. The owners were the sweetest ensuring we had all that we needed. We will definitely be back and can’t wait for our next trip. Don’t hesitate this cabin is a gem!

My husband, newborn, dog, and I had the BEST time at the cabin for a long weekend in February. Everything was clean, updated, and cozy. Communication with Mel was so easy and friendly. We hope to be able to stay here again in the future! Location is perfect and the community is so nice. Literally no complaints or suggestions for improvements. 100% recommend!

This is our favorite cabin by far! We've stayed at Melanie's cabin for several years and it is perfect! Very cozy and comfortable, always clean and equipped with anything we might need. Bonus is that it is dog friendly and even has a small fenced yard so the pups can go out to take care of business early in the morning without the humans. Location is awesome with beautiful view of the mountains. It's a short drive to the Gatlinburg strip but far enough away to feel like you've really escaped it all. Thanks for another awesome winter getaway!

We decided to take a trip to the mountains in hopes of getting a white Christmas (didn't happen). Had an absolute blast even with getting stuck in the Cabin the last 2 days of the trip due to having a sick kiddo. Was such a relaxing trip and loved that such a nice place let me bring along my doggo. I take her with me everywhere but with her being a pitty it hard to find places that allow her and even harder to find ones that aren't run down or in super bad condition this was neither. 10/10 would definitely recommend hopefully we get to come back soon.

The best is the excellent service, quick response for special requests and especially Melanie’s warm kindness to us for our home away from home. The view of the Smokies from the balcony is priceless; stunning sunrises and sunsets with perfect serenity. The cabin wood flooring, walls and ceilings were constructed to perfection; accentuated by the log kitchen table chairs and log king beds. Both bedrooms are en suite with whirlpool bathtubs and showers. I really enjoyed the hot tub on the balcony with a breathless view of the mountains. There is an ideal fenced in yard and front porch, if you bring your dog. Melanie is very considerate in providing every amenity imaginable; including appliances, utensils and well stocked kitchen needs. I am an avid supporter of the Great Smoky Mtn. Association and have stayed in cabins at least yearly throughout 40 wonderful years in the Smokies. My brother and his wife along with my wife and myself stayed at this fantastic cabin. It was the perfect cabin at the end of the road with a great view. The cabin was very clean and everything was in place. (The only minor suggestion I would offer is to have charcoal for the outside grill, laundry detergent, and a small mat upon entering the cabin so as to keep it clean.) I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone who wants to stay in Gatlinburg and tour the sites. Thank you for an enjoyable visit.

This was our 3rd time staying here. This place is a true gem in the Smoky Mountains! It is truly a retreat and a pleasure to come here and relax.The property is immaculate, very tastefully decorated, private, and comfortable. It is well equipped and very accommodating. It truly feels like home away from home. The owners are wonderful people with a high level of communication if needed. Now that we are retired, we plan on spending more time here!
