Welcome to the Blakely Prom House website. You will find this spacious home to be the best Seaside has to offer. The Promenade location and quality of this home are superior with spectacular oceanfront views.
761 S. Prom, Seaside, located on the Promenade just a few blocks South of the famed 'Turn Around.' This location is the best Seaside has to offer. A stunning unobstructed oceanfront view, just steps to the promenade and only one hundred feet from stairs leading to the sand. Our home is newly constructed, finished in February of 2007. We tore down a badly deteriorated home and replaced it with two new homes, each sharing a common soundproof wall.
Our home is over 3000 square feet on three levels, four bedrooms, 3 baths, large lower level with additional sleeping space, beautiful round rock gas fireplace, washer and dryer, decks front and back, two car garage, cruiser bicycles, pool table, wireless internet, flat screen TV's. The house is very well appointed and well stocked with supplies.
On the basement level you will find a large living area with pool table and TV/DVD. Two bunk beds (double bottom and single top) provide sleeping for up to 6 people.
On the main floor, the large living/dining/kitchen area has a breathtaking view of the Pacific and Prom. The Kitchens granite island provides additional seating for dining. A bathroom with tiled shower, bedroom with queen bed and laundry area can also be found on the main level. Decks front and backed are accessed from the main level.
The upper level features three bedrooms and two baths (one with a clawfoot tub). The large master bedroom has a private bath, king bed and a spectacular view of the Pacific and Tillamook Head. The second bedroom on the upper level has a full size bed and the third bedroom has two queen beds.
No Pets and No Smoking.
Our Cancellation Policy allows up to a 100% refund. VRBO does not allow for custom cancellation policies. Ours is available on request and is also detailed in our contract.

Note regarding Covid-19; My cleaning crew has been with me for 13 years and they are outstanding. We have adopted CDC and Oregon Health Authority guidelines but have taken it a step further and are incorporating additional measures to provide a clean and safe environment for you and your family and friends. Please inquire if you would like additional information regarding disinfecting.
NOTE: Summer stays require a 5 night minimum however shorter blocks may be available. The VRBO system has limitations showing a two night minimum. This is true except for holidays and Summers as noted under rate information.

Stayed at Blakely Prom House for the annual Hood to Coast Relay. Our group of 12 people found the accommodations wonderful. Steps from the beach, less than 5 minutes to downtown, the best spot along the promenade. Highly recommend!

This house was great. We had 6 adults, 3 teenagers, and 3 kids under 10. We had space to move around. The clawfoot tub did not work for our older family, but there were other options. We had what we needed in the kitchen. The bikes were nice to ride up and down the prom. The location was fantastic. It had amazing views and was not too far from anywhere. We took day trips to cannon beach and Warrenton to see more family. The kids loved the aquarium and arcade, the beach, and the ropes course. Some of us found nice hikes nearby, and restaurants were easy to find and walk to. This is a great location for multigenerational fun. All of us agreed that we would love to stay here again.

Had a great Spring Break visit, even with the soggy weather. Enjoyed the view of the waves and people watching.
Suggestions: Larger dining table. Wasn't sure if table expanded, but we didn't see any extra chairs to use if it did. We sat 5 at counter and 4 at table, so made it work for 9, but prefer to all sit at table together. House sleeps 12, so should seat 12 too.
Bikes could use some servicing (flat tires, rusty gears). But we found 3 that worked and enjoyed a ride on the Prom. Love the classic yellow bike with a basket.
Maybe blackout curtains or extra layer of blinds in bedrooms with curtains. Very bright early in AM.
Kitchen well-equipped. Excellent spice collection. Could sharpen the knives (as typical). Grill worked great.
Surprised only bar soaps (no shampoo, conditioner, body wash.) Maybe in the description and we missed that, but if not, suggest mentioning.
Plenty of dish soap, laundry detergent, towels, Kleenex, trash cans.
Enjoyed pool table, fireplace and the artwork/decor.
TV showed Netflix on home screen, but we couldn't open. If available, provide directions by TV.
Maybe add shower insert to bathtub in upstairs bath. Clawfoot tub is cute, but not convenient.
Also the 4 bunk beds downstairs did not have privacy curtains as pictured. We tried with 4 teen boys, but they were pretty squeaky. One moved to couch. Probably better for smaller kids.
Overall, a great stay with perfect location and beach access. We plan to return!

The property was in a prime location. A beautiful home right on the promenade. The pictures on this listing do not do it justice. My family and I felt right at home and had no issues whatsoever with anything. Mike was very attentive prior to and during our stay. We plan to rent this house every time we return to the area. Family Trip
This property was all that was advertised. Home was well stocked and very clean. Everything was in good working order. Staying right off the prom made it a easy trip with kids, lots of safe area for them to ride their bikes and scooters. Owners were very responsive. Views of ocean were awesome and the short walk to beach was my favorite part of this property. We were able to have a fire on beach, we were also able to get up in the morning and go clamming right in front of property. Can't wait to stay here again.

Great family stay on the promenade!
Rented this place for an annual family vacation. Everyone loved the central location with beautiful view — just a few minutes walk to the ocean or to shops and restaurants. Place was quite large and had a wonderful well stocked kitchen! Appreciated all the extras (plenty of dishes and cookware, coffee filters, coffee grinder, coffee beans, cooking oil) that we normally have to remember to pack because we’re never sure what will be provided. Also appreciated each bathroom closet had plenty of extra towels, hairdryer, etc. Also enjoyed the pool table! All around great space with plenty of room for our group of five adults and two young kids!

Amazing!!!
This house was amazing and honestly more then I imagined. In pictures I was a little worried about the width of the house but when we arrived it was very spacious. The location is right in downtown seaside so it was very convenient. I loved that they had all the kitchen items to use and even a junk drawer incase you need something random. I will definitely be booking again in the future!!! This house exceeded my expectations.

We are 4 married couples that do weekend getaway once a year. This home on the Prom was excellent! We all agreed that the home was very clean, well stocked and very spacious.
The view of Seaside from the house was spectacular!
Mike was great as well. He kept me informed on what we needed, and was very clear with instructions.

Family Retreat

This property offers the best of a visit to Seaside. The shops, arcades, and restaurants are an easy walk from the house, yet the location is far enough from downtown to be quiet and uncrowded, even on a holiday weekend. The views from the home are simply stunning: unobstructed ocean and beach vistas. The kitchen is well equipped and easy to get food ready for a group. There is lots of room for guests to spread out, talk together, or have some quiet time. I enthusiastically recommend it without any reservation.

Great stay in Seaside!
Awesome location right on the ‘prom’ in Seaside, short walk to beach and town. The home is very comfortable, nicely decorated, clean, and well stocked for an easy family vacation. We would definitely stay here again if we visit the Oregon Coast!!
