About this apartment rental
Fabulous ocean frontage! Oceanfront balcony and expansive ocean view from kitchen and front room. Queen bed in each bedroom, plus queen-size sofa bed in the front room.
Gas fireplace. Marble counter in the kitchen. Cable TV.
Since it is perched on the low sea cliff, we can enjoy winter storms and balmy summer breezes in the condo. Or campfires and long walks on the beach. An oceanfront condo with a fireplace is the best place to be in the world! No air conditioner is needed at the beach!
The condo is on the second level, up 15 exterior steps with 2 handrails.
New kitchen appliances. No dishwasher :(
High-def TV and WiFi.
The condo is equipped with basic spices (salt, pepper, garlic salt, onion powder, and Italian seasoning) plus oil and oil spray. We also have a drip coffee pot with filters, and a very adequate array of cooking pans, pots, bowls, casserole dishes, and utensils.
I own the ten-unit condo building immediately next door to The Lookout. And the Lookout sits atop the garage, with no shared walls with another condo, so it's a peaceful place. However, in the summertime, the vehicle traffic up and down the beach ramp on the north side can be a bit noisy, but one gets accustomed to it easily.
No smoking in the condo, or on the balcony. No pets or companion animals, please.
Our Cancellation Policy is Relaxed and allows 100% rent refund up until 14 days prior to your stay. FYI, if you find it necessary to cancel at any point between booking or 14 days prior, we must charge a small 5% processing fee to cover our expenses.
Location, location, location! The Lookout has the exploding horizon of sand and surf, which is always interesting, no matter the weather. This unique cliffside condo with a fabulous view is a treasure, whenever you find it available to book.
One block away from Highway 101, easy walking to restaurants, souvenir shops, and a grocery store.
Beach access is via 50 gentle stairs (with two handrails) or a paved ramp to drive onto the beach! In fact, during April - Sept, many people like to park their cars on the beach (right below the condo) when the tide is out! But twice a day, the tide rolls in, and clears everybody out!!!
No pets allowed. Please do not ask to bring a favorite animal. It just doesn't work to mix animals, and folks with allergies in our private condo. I cannot host guests with dogs, because I have other guests, who specifically ask me for "allergen-free" rooms. I do not have pet-friendly rooms.
Parking in a beach town is challenging but manageable. We have 11 off-street parking spaces. Some will accommodate large vehicles, others will not. If you are driving a small vehicle, please be considerate and choose a small parking space. Please be aware that a large 4-door truck may find parking in our lot challenging, and you might find it more comfortable to park on a side street.
At check-in, we issue one parking permit for our lot, and vehicles without permits will be subject to towing.
Extra vehicles can find parking on the side streets of 15th and 14th Streets. Please be advised, that Lincoln City writes tickets if vehicles park in their lot across the street between 1-5 a.m.
Bring your own BBQ to enjoy at the beach, or bring some newspaper and kindling to light a campfire on the beach! (The driftwood is often wet and hard to start without dry wood, but burns great once going!)
For your planning purposes: our rates are based on occupancy. Extra guests over the number of two cost only $5/person/night. This makes our condo affordable for both couples or families. If you arrive with additional guests who are undeclared, our extra person charge is $10/person/night.
The Lookout is between Highway 101 and the Pacific Ocean, right down on the sea cliff! There is no better spot to vacation, and leave your car parked, and enjoy the 7 miles of Lincoln City beach! Souvenir shops and restaurants are all within walking distance. The Chinook Winds Convention Center and Casino is one mile north of us.
One off-street parking spot is included with this condo. But there is also parking on adjacent side streets. You can park across the street in the city parking lot, but NOT between 1-5 am...the City will tow any vehicle there :(
There are three public electric vehicle charging locations in Lincoln City. Lincoln County Transit provides busing in the city. Siletz Bay Airport at Gleneden provides Flight Transportation ((PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN).
Bring your own BBQ to enjoy at the beach, or bring some starter wood to light a campfire on the beach! (The driftwood is often wet and hard to start without dry wood from home!).
This is a vacation rental condo. In an effort to offer an awesome beach experience at a minimal price, we provide clean towels and linens for each guest's stay, but we do not have daily housekeeping, nor provide daily clean towels.

Could not have found a better location. Beautiful Ocean view with whales and sea lions spotted from the deck, and only steps away from the beach. Place was clean, beds were comftorable, and had all we needed to cook group dinners. Host was excellent!

The location is awesome, right on the beach. It was overall great. Biggest issue we had was the beds were so uncomfortable.

This stay was just as good as the first time. The rooms are always clean and the view cannot be beat.

Great property
The space was clean and tidy. The location is wonderful - direct access to the beach. Other people said the cars going to and from the beach was too noisy, but we’re from the city and didn’t notice it. It’s the perfect amount of space for two adults and two small kids. We will definitely be back.

Nice place for a small family
We had never tried this place in Lincoln city but it was a gem. We have stayed at places close by but this was by far the nicest. The space is used well and the view is amazing. The WiFi was a little slow but other than that it was a great place to stay. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Best view and location we could have wished for!
The property is easy to reach with parking up front. Walking distance to shops, bakery, coffee etc. Beach access next to the unit. Nice patio for watching the sunset. Grab a bottle of wine, listen to the ocean and enjoy!

Beautiful views!
The condo was very nicely put together, and the views of the ocean cannot be beat. It was well stocked with everything we needed, and within walking distance to a number of restaurants and shops. Our only complaint was the public beach directly in front. Cars were spinning doughnuts on the beach at all hours of the night, waking us up, and there were some intoxicated beachgoers that made me nervous to venture down to the beach with my kids. We knew about the public beach access being there when we booked, we just assumed it wouldn't be very crowded in April, but it was. Overall, we had a great stay, just a little rowdy for a family with young children.

Clean, but too close to the beach access ramp
This condo was cute and clean. The WiFi didn’t work all that well and I think it was turned off completely during the night. So if you’re a night owl, beware. The traffic going down to the beach via the public access ramp was often quite loud. Cars were constantly getting stuck or spinning their wheels trying to drive up the steep ramp. We will definitely find a quieter spot down the beach next time.

Very clean and cheerful, Modern top of the line appliances, nice furnishings. Most comfortable bed I've ever experienced at a rental! Quiet and relaxing with a gorgeous ocean view. The beach is right in front of you! The only problem is there needs to be more parking. I met family from Medford while I was from Northern Oregon so Lincoln City is about half way for us to meet. Only one car was allowed to park at the property. We also couldn't get in as the access code I was given a week before arrival had been changed and I was not notified. Thank goodness, there are brochures available out front with the property manager's phone number. After given the correct access code, we got right in.

Wonderful time at the beach
We loved this property. The location was perfect, the view was amazing, and the condo color/decor was lovely. I would sit by that fireplace reading for a month if my life allowed! We will definitely be back to stay at this or any of Teresa’s other properties - I can’t imagine that they would disappoint.

Excellent view!
This apartment has glass windows looking out to the beach and a balcony. We would sit for hours just looking out. It was the perfect location. The property manager Teresa was very prompt at communication and responded quickly to our questions. The apartment was decorated very nicely and was clean as well. The sofa and beds were comfortable. Highly recommend!

Perfect for a quick get away!
My kids and I took my mom to this cute condo for her 60th birthday - she loves the ocean and was thrilled to have such a stunning view that was steps away from a nice walk on the beach. The only thing I would say could be improved would be that there was some dust built up in a few places that could have been cleaned better but it was in places that really don’t matter (coffee table legs for example). The fireplace fan could probably use a service as it is super loud but I appreciated that the fireplace was still working. Perfect spot for a quick get away!

A relief
So at the last minute we decided to get the boys out of Portland, Oregon's unhealthy air while we were showing our house on the market. Right after we booked it, we remembered the Echo Mountain Fire and realized that we may not have thought things through enough. I had nothing to worry about. Communication from the owner was great to start with and as soon as we walked in, the relief that we all had was just as welcome as the wonderfully fresh sea air in Lincoln City. Before putting the bags down, I knew we'd be booking here again. The decor was bright and friendly, and it was so clean! In times of Covid, I am paranoid about exposure so I was checking surfaces pretty closely. I was not remotely disappointed or worried. Everytime I had a question, I got my answers super fast and never felt like I was being a bother. The rooms are comfortable and warm. The little balcony is delightful and nothing can beat the view. From there, we were right at the beach and besides seeing the sun for the first time in weeks, we also got to see beautiful sunsets over the ocean. Taking the kids out to play was perfect and stress free since we were so close to the beach. And the condo was stocked with everything we needed. On our last morning, we left in a bit of hurry so that we could make a reservation down the coast and it wasn't until we were almost back in Portland before I realized that I left my pillow in Lincoln City. I texted the owner, not really expecting anything but without my having to ask, she offered to mail it back. I got it a few days later. Honestly, there was no question that this would be a place we'd book at again but on top of how much we enjoyed our stay, the owner really sealed the deal. Thank you!!!!!

Great time
We had a great time! Very clean and the decor was well done. Great views. Kinda noisy from the cars going up and down the road to the beach. Definitely needs a toaster. All around though, it was a great place to relax and watch the waves. We really enjoyed our visit. Thank you 😊

The condo was great.
The condo was cozy and the location was excellent. It is a little confusing to find at the complex as the units are not in numerical order. The view was spectacular.

Cars on the beach got old
Place was nice, but we dropped something under the bed and the dust was terrible. Beds were too soft for me. Biggest drawback was the constant stream of cars coming and going just below our deck. Made for good people watching but it got very old. Could not recommend for that reason.

Will definitely be back next year. Great view and felt safe and cozy by myself.
