This was perfect for our stay we came for our sons BMT Graduation and it was quite and relaxing. I wish it was closer to the base but the drive is only 25 minutes so it’s nice to be away from all the traffic. I would stay there again.

The other bedrooms could use a TV, and the pool could use a light but other than that we really enjoyed the stay and it’s a beautiful house. My family really enjoyed our time there.

The place could have been cleaned a bit better. There were stains on the cabinets from where people opened them. There were drips on the countertop edges from where someone spilled something, and it was not cleaned up. There was a poop stain on the master bath toilet we cleaned when we arrived. We moved the recliner and it had not been cleaned under in a long time with lots of crumbs and dust. The lint trap for the dryer had not been emptied. A note to empty when done should be posted, it was about 4 or 5 uses thick with lint. Staging the pool furniture would have been easy and gone a long way.
The pool was amazing. Great depth and clean. Beds were comfortable and the bedding was clean. We didn't really use the kitchen other than making coffee and keeping drinks cold in the fridge, but the appliances were nice.

This house was fun and much larger than I was expecting! My family had so much fun! My only recommendation would be to bring a citronella candle for outside to keep the mosquitos away! :)

This is an older home with a lot of character. If you are looking for modern and completely updated, this won't be for you. The location is great with easy access to groceries, restaurants, activities and airport. The private pool is very large and completely fenced in for privacy. There are a lot of trees in the yard, so the pool does get leaves and sticks in it, but we just used the pool net and scooped them out. There is a full kitchen and four bedrooms that could easily sleep 10. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The location was perfect for us. Only 15 minutes or less in each direction from restaurants and shopping, and other family members. The home was perfect for large families. The only thing we could have used was a high chair or booster. Other than that, we would definitely stay again.

We had a good time in the pool. That’s what you are going to this house for. When you’re out there in the back it’s a pretty cool view too. They also have nice furniture. Overall great place to stay

We stayed here over an extended weekend to watch the solar eclipse. I really liked the location. Was in a nice quiet neighborhood, but close to restaurants and grocery stores. Easy to get to the highway and only a 20-25 minute drive to downtown. The pool was open, but water still a bit too cold to swim in early April. The interior of the house was clean and much of it updated. The back yard has lots of shade and many trees, which is nice, but also creates a bit of debris, if you are planning anything in the back. The only negative I can think of is the step in the master bedroom. A couple of feet past the bed, there is about a 8 inch step down which is in an unexpected spot and with the matching tile floor, it is kind of hard to see. My wife fell twice and my daughter once on it. I'm really not sure why the master bedroom has this, and I think it would be a good idea for the owner to try to make the room all one level in the future. It may be a good idea to put some caution tape on the drop or some low level lighting to make it more visible at night.

We have stayed at this rental for quite a few years and have always enjoyed our stay. The owners are always friendly and ready to answer any questions we may have. Since our stay is quite lengthy we get to utilize many of the amenities of this rental. Hope to return again!

Home was convenient to highway and in a nice neighborhood. However, there are a few cleanliness and safety issues that need to be addressed. The home needs some TLC. There was dust on furniture and dirt and objects on floor behind living room couch. The recliner was broken,and some light switches did not operate. The kitchen although well stocked had dirty dishes in the cabinet, crumbs in the drawers and coffee grounds in the coffee maker.
On the last night we wondered where the smoke detector was in the master bedroom. Accidentally, we found it under bathroom sink with batteries removed. The light above master bathroom shower was not fully attached to the ceiling.
We had issues with not having hot water, the owner did come and turn up the temperature within 24 hours.
The bathroom towels were very thin and some of them had stains.
All in all, this home needs a much love and repair.
The best thing about it was the location is near the friends we came to visit.

The most positive aspect of this property is its location in a quiet and seemingly safe neighborhood not too far from downtown and close to first-class restaurants. The negatives include the general shabbiness of the house, maintenance needs, and threadbare towels. A dangerous step in the primary bedroom tripped one of our party, who smashed their head on tile floor--blood everywhere. We stayed in December, so the pool was not a benefit, but it's easy to see that a young family would enjoy it.

We were in town for our daughter’s graduation ceremony from St. Mary’s University. The home is spacious and beautiful. Everything was just as pictured. The home is in a lovely neighborhood that was 20 minutes away. The owners were gracious enough to give us access to the home a bit early as our flight arrived early.
I would recommend someone check out the shower door in the master bedroom, as it gets a bit stuck. There was a small cleaning issue that we resolved ourselves. We let the owners know only so they can check with their cleaners to ensure they are thorough. I highly recommend this beautiful home.

We were in SAT to enjoy relaxing time with our son and family. Not to be traipsing around to Walmart for supplies. These were basic items that should have been provided.

Wonderful location, was easy for us to get to the different locations and activities we were doing on our vacation ( the eclipse was amazing!).
Owner was wonder to work with, walk us through the process, our first time VRBOing. Even, allowed us to drop off our luggage early.
The house was surprisingly spacious, our family of six was able to spread out easily.
Our daughters enjoyed connect four and the air hockey.
Would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic location! The house was spacious and great for kids/adults. Good games and entertainment. Nice pool, although deck area was dirty and required us to clean it. The pool man comes on Mondays- that was a surprise. As a renter, be prepared to go to the store and get household items. Limited hand soap and dish soap, some bath towels were shredded so we bought our own, only 3 pool towels, and not enough silverware for a full house. Beds were comfy but loud.

This property is in a good location (about 25 min from Lackland AFB). Has a Walmart nearby. A family of 6 could stay here very comfortably. The pool is a nice bonus. All rooms have dimmers for lights. Kitchen is small but functional. Dining room and outdoor patio set for meals. Lots of seating in the living room. Bring your own detergent for washing clothes. And extra paper towels for the kitchen. TVs in living room & master bedroom. One hallway bathroom & en suite in the master bedroom. That’s all. Enjoy.
