Treat your whole family to an unforgettable vacation on the Northern Oregon Coast at this vintage home with a picture-framed view of Cape Meares landmark Pyramid Rock from the living room. This spacious rental features such amenities as a half-acre level grounds, bean bag toss, horseshoe pit, and good partial ocean views.
In a beautiful quiet rural area, this home's location is perfect for beach days or exploring the area's abundant natural beauty. But if you'd like to sample the scene in town, take an eight-mile drive southeast to Tillamook, where you'll find shopping, dining, and entertainment options.
This one-level home's classic interior (which is a little over 2,000 square feet) is both cozy and familiar. Kick off your shoes and gather for some group entertainment in front of the wall-mounted TV in the living area. Flip through cable channels to find a favorite show, or pop in a DVD for an evening movie together. Between the generous sectional couch and two recliner chairs, there's plenty of seating for everyone. But TV isn't your only entertainment option - you'll also find board and card games, plus a small library of books and a CD player.
When the weather is good, head outside to play catch or toss horseshoes in the large, half-acre yard spread out over three lots. You could also pour a favorite beverage and sit on the large wooden deck, or enjoy a summer barbecue using the gas grill.
Speaking of dining, you'll find everything needed for home cooking in the well-equipped kitchen. Serve up fresh Dungeness crab dip on its spacious countertops while waiting on the main course, then move over to the table when the entree is ready.
Afterward, why not explore the neighborhood? Take a leisurely stroll to the end of Pacific Avenue for beach access and benches to watch the roaring surf, or grab the kids' beach toys provided in the home and watch the sunset over the ocean.
At the end of your day, retreat home to any of the bedrooms for the restful sleep you deserve.
Wake with the sounds of the sea in the distance, then connect to the WiFi to plan your day's adventures. If you're in the mood for some day trips, you'll find plenty to do within an easy drive. Take a drive to Cape Meares and hike on lush forest trails in the area, or rent a watercraft to explore Tillamook Bay. Kids will love a visit to the Tillamook Cheese Factory (10 miles east), and the area's crabbing and clamming is fun for all ages.
Make memories to last a lifetime on the Oregon Coast - book this cozy Cape Meares home today!

Great for kids! Sand toys and close to the beach. Comfortable beds and lots of family room.
4.7
Plenty of space, well equipped kitchen, lots of board games, puzzles and books.

Beautiful location by a quiet expansive beach, and lots of fun games for rainy days.
4.7
Even though an older decor, The place was spacious. Enough room to seat everyone around the TV. Had one table to do jigsaw puzzles and another to eat an play games at. A stamp view of the ocean and its waves. The beds were very comfortable. One level and only 5 steps in.

11.5kW of EV charging from an amazing, charming rental. Very clean and up-to-date with cool tech in the house. Touch lamps with USB plug-ins and good wifi throughout the house. So close to the beach. Well maintained. Great value. Can't wait to get back.

My family enjoyed our stay. House is within walking distance to the beach and I loved listening to the ocean waves at night. It has a fully stocked kitchen and a variety of board games to enjoy with the family. House was also spacious, more then enough space for 5 people. We would stay there again.

The house was great. Fully stocked, good location and spacious. Great amenities and the layout is great for a family with kids. We did pick this home specifically because it said pet free but it definitely was not..the couch by the fireplace had lots of dog hairs all over it. We chose pet free due to allergies and we definitely had allergies through the stay due to it not being pet free.

Otherwise, great!

Windhaven is roomy and well equipped except for toilet paper. 3 1/2 rolls is not adequate for a full week's stay with a family. Surely this is something that should be supplied.

Very relaxing and comfortable. We had a great time!

It was very close to a beach that we enjoyed. It was roomy and the beds were comfortable. If this would allow I would have 3.5

This was my second time at this place and I love it. It’s quiet, near the water and has plenty of space. The decor is very 70’s and there’s this amazing funky green bathroom with a huge tub. It is far from town, but I liked the isolation. We used it for a sewing retreat and had a blast
4.7
Great location. Had bbq and fire pit. Reminded me of childhood. Great layout and plenty of room. Soaking tub in primary suite was great. Fun for whole family and just a block away from the beach. Great sunset pics too! Also got to see a flock of pelicans too!
4.7
Great house for our family, with a less than 5 min walk to the beach- there is a short, steep path to the beach from the road so if you have a stroller you will need to carry it. Smooth check in process. The house was very clean when we arrived which was good for our crawling little one.

We enjoyed ourselves. Property nice but aging. We stayed there last summer.
4.7
It was a nice large place in a beautiful quite town. You can walk a couple blocks and you are right on the beach.

Perfect beach getaway!
Clean, charming beach house rental for the whole family. We loved the games, puzzles and access to high speed internet with streaming services through the fire stick and Roku. The beach was just a short block away with great tidepooling. This beach is a hidden gem! So clean and private. Beds were comfortable. Everything we needed to getaway and enjoy the Oregon Coast. Can't wait to get back!

We loved staying here for a four gal sewing retreat and specifically chose this property because it had a decent sized table (why do massive houses that hold a ton of people have only four top tables?) to set up machines on. We would like to book again yet Vacasa needs to step up it's management of the property. Many lights were burnt out (above the bar, vanity, built in, kitchen, entry way) and the ones that had bulbs were so low wattage you couldn't see. (no overhead lighting except in the kitchen). Also, the shaggy carpet was full of hair and needs to be high power vacuumed after each stay. Otherwise, this house is clean and spacious! Hopefully, Vacasa upgrades the lighting to at least 75 watt LED bulbs (many were three way so go big and folks can dial back) since it's at the dark Oregon Coast and not sunny California. Also, of note...we tried working from here and the internet is not stable for video calls. Great place to vacation and not work remote from.

Lovely time in Cape Meares
I love the close proximity to the ocean and the roominess. It would be helpful if there was a remote or instructions for the DVD player. I called for help but no one ever came.

This is a great location with a short walk to the beach. Racoons will make a mess of the trash if your not diligent.

We LOVED our stay! It was a perfectly maintained time capsule. So clean and comfy! Yes it's not a trendy, brand new home but it's so funky it's cool. There was everything you could need from spices in the cabinets to beach chairs and toys. My family literally can't wait to go back!
