Estes Park License #3364. 5 bedroom, 2 and a half bath. Go to sleep with the sound of the river outside. Easy walk to town, walk into RMNP, or just sit by the river and fish. Peaceful retreat with all the amenities close by. Big beautiful windows let the beauty of Estes Park envelope you. Full kitchen, wood stove, free internet and movies. Hike up Old Man Mountain behind the cabin or do nothing at all. An amazing location that has been in our family for 50 years.

The house is even better than the pictures suggest. A beautiful home in a scenic, peaceful spot. It is also in an excellent location; an easy walk to downtown Estes Park and RMNP is easily accessible, both by car and on foot. The managers were responsive and professional. I highly recommend this property.

This vacation home is absolutely amazing. Everything about it is thoughtful and well done. Almost every room has creek-facing windows, the great room has 2 walls of windows overlooking the creek and the the kitchen has everything imaginable. The bedrooms all have comfortable beds, and the master even has a fireplace. The downstairs is very open and family-oriented. We were able to cook, talk to the family and listen to the creek. We enjoyed morning coffee next to the creek while watching wildlife. Everything was perfect.
This trip was likely our last as a family (our "kids" have begun moving out and spreading their wings), and we could not have wished for a better place to spend it. The large dining room table allowed us to share meals and play board games, and the couches in the great room allowed us to watch movies together.
We saw small critters (hummingbirds, chipmunks, turkeys), several deer, and even had a late night visit from a curious black bear. It is close to Estes Park and a short drive to Rocky Mountain National Park (be sure to purchase timed entry permits).
We communicated with the owners a couple of times, and they were very quick to respond and are very kind. This is a special property to them and it shows.
We have rented through VRBO a number of times, and this home was the best by far. We would not hesitate to rent this home again, and hope to do so again someday.

Our family had the best stay at the Fall River Cabin! The pictures can’t do it justice, it is even more wonderful in person! We enjoyed the sunny yard in the morning and afternoon, where elk, deer and rabbits came to visit. The cabin is stocked with anything you may need. The owner’s pay attention to details and left nothing out. Highly recommend the cabin, as it is walking distance to town yet very quiet and private location.

We had a wonderful stay at this home!!! Already booked it for next year! :) We come to Estes Park 2-3 times per year and this is the first house we all agreed that we want to return to. Great location, spacious and so well stocked! It had everything we wanted including lots of wildlife sightings. We were visited by deer in the yard at least once per day as well as lots of other animals. My husband and kids also caught several trout in the river behind the house. Can’t wait to come back!

This house was the perfect house for a family vacation with our adult children and their families. It was spacious but homey and offered everything we needed for a stress-free stay. The location is serene and beautiful but close to everything. We were more than pleased and would recommend this house without hesitation to others. Thank you, Barney & Nicole, for everything!

We loved the cabin. We had five adults and everything went very well. Kitchen was well supplied and both bedrooms and common areas suited us to a tee. Loved seeing the deer and turkeys in the yard. Being right on the river was fabulous.

We had the rare opportunity to have all of our kids for a long weekend. The property is stunning in every way. The owners were incredibly responsive and helpful. This home was perfect - every couple had their own room. The kitchen is phenomenally well stocked!! The location is peaceful and gorgeous. We loved every aspect of this home and would positively stay again, and would recommend highly!!

House was filthy, yard had tall weeds, some windows opened and others didn’t and some screens were missing so didn’t want to open for bugs. Main floor toilet stuck every 2-3 flushes. Lawn furniture was wood or metal. Some pieces were broken and unsafe to use. Had hoped for comfy seating around fire pit and watching/listening to the water in backyard. House screamed neglect. Location was great — close to Estes Park and RMNP. A gem of a house if money and time were invested in it. So sad!

Great location with many elk and turkeys. Loved the river and sitting outside during the evenings. Didn't like the mattresses and the little bugs and were in the bathroom and kitchen sinks everyday and in some of the bedrooms.

Wonderful house in great location (1.1 mi. walk to the village). Loved having the stream in our back yard. Easy access to RMNP. Only improvement recommended: mow the grass ( 12”high).
We were visited daily by elk and twice by a bear cub.
We are planning a return engagement in the future

We absolutely loved our stay in this cabin. By far, the nicest cabin we’ve stayed at in the area. So many rooms and beds! The property was beautifully situated next to Fall River. We had daily visits from wild turkeys. Busiest of days there were 50 on the property in the morning with deer also walking through.
So close to downtown Estes Park and to the National Park. Perfect location for us! The cabin was perfect with great touches like the living room blankets and wonderful hand soaps/lotions in every restroom. We will absolutely be returning!

Appreciated this home on the River. Only problems were burned out lightbulbs, plumbing fixtures broken in master and second bathroom. Ran out of Kleenex. Cobwebs above stairs. Dust balls under dining table.some of gas burners don’t work. We did love the wildlife there. Great location to town. Plenty of room for all 8 to spread out.

For a property so close to town, this one lives like a private oasis. It is comfortable and luxurious but in a homey way. The owners have put a lot of effort into making their guests feel welcome.
There were wild turkeys and elk in the yard regularly. We opened the master bedroom window at night and listened to the River..
The kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated the coffee, spices and made chili in the crockpot.

I love wildlife, so having breakfast beside a babbling river, entertained by a flock of turkeys was heaven. We also had a couple of elk sightings including a truly formidable guy across the river. The house itself had everything we could want. I've never seen such a well stocked kitchen in a rental. Appreciated all the streaming stations on the TV and closeness to town. We all had a wonderful time.

The sound of the river made for great sleeping. There were 7 of us, so we appreciated the very functional layout, especially of the kitchen. Several of us could comfortably work on food prep at the same time.
A family of 4 elk visited for most of an afternoon, enjoying the lush grasses and the river. They were gorgeous and didn’t seem to mind us.

Fabulous property!
Oh my goodness- highly recommend this one! Stayed here with my family of 4 (two teenage boys) plus my parents (in their 70s). The house is the best stocked VRBO I have ever stayed in! The owners are super friendly and provide plenty of necessities including TP, hand soap, cleaning wipes, shampoo, conditioner, etc.
They also have a well stocked kitchen and invite guests to use the k-cups, spices, etc. The location is fantastic! Right on the river/creek, plus very close to RMNP entrances, hiking trails, & town. We saw deer grazing by the creek, lots of birds, rabbits, and other small wildlife around. Very peaceful. Lots of space, very clean and well maintained. I use VRBO fairly frequently and this one is TOPS!

Lovely rustic home located on the Fall River. Five bedrooms and huge kitchen, dining, and living room space. Large outdoor yard with East access to fishing in the Fall River! Everyone in our family loved the home and location to Estes Psrk and RMNP!

Annual summer trip with friends
The cabin was great and exactly as advertised. Clean, comfortable and relaxing. Daily visits from the elk and turkeys. Caught lots of trout for dinners. RMNP Fall River entrance and Downtown minutes away. Our teens loved the variety of seeing moose and snow in RMNP and Fun City as well as walking the shops DT. We would definitely book this cabin again. Thanks.

We had a blast spending Thanksgiving with our friends at this property. The kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed to make a decadent meal and the owners were very responsive to any questions we may have had. Lots of wildlife viewing and super close to both town and RMNP.

Numerous Big bull elk practically lived in the back yard along with numerous deer that would also came to feed every day. Rental was stocked with lots of leftover useful foods, most unopened but some opened like butter, syrup, pancake mix, coffee, Mayo which was very helpful to us. Spices galore, a drawer full of any spice that you can think of. My elderly parents appreciated the no step entry and downstairs master bedroom with bathroom. Plenty of space for all 8 of us to cook, relax or watch Netflix.
The BBQ could use some cleaning and the key box was difficult to open, but overall a fantastic VRBO.
