About this apartment rental

Nicely set up unit; there are two queen sized beds for comfortable sleeping. Recently remodeled, the fully equipped kitchen makes cooking a pleasure. Everything you need is provided, including linens, washer and dryer in the complex, flat screen TV, a Roku device for access to TV, ND private high speed internet. About 200 feet from the pool and barbecues right across the lawn.

Open the doors to the lanai and feel the trade winds cool the air. Swim in the sparkling pool or grill dinner at the cabana. Play tennis or shuffleboard or just sit and read a book or watch the whales, seals, manta rays, or sea turtles. Listen to the tropical birds as they greet the morning while you eat breakfast on your lanai. The complex has a lending library in the cabana, ample parking, nearby grocery/sandwich shop, and beautifully landscaped grounds.

Moloka'i is the best island for learning what the real Hawaii is like. Its people are warm and welcoming, its pace of life is slow and relaxed. There is always something to do or someplace to explore, or you can just relax and watch the sea life around you.

I liked the location of the unit, enjoyed the pool too while it was open. The unit was a bit dusty therefore my husband kept sneezing perhaps it was the carpet and the fake plants

Wavecrest is a good resort.Beautiful gardens with a decent pool area.Lots of friendly quests and the staff were happy and helpful.A small beach area with dark sand.Lots of birds in the area.A small store and takeout restaurant about 3miles up the road.For the money i would say the best on the island.

The location is quiet and beautiful. The property is very clean and equipped with everything you need. While we were on Molokai, there was a severe rainstorm which caused flooding, mudslides, and closure of the road. Martha was incredibly accommodating. She offered to let us stay until the weather cleared and it was safe to leave the island. We really appreciate the hospitality. She was an amazing host. Highly recommended!!

Furnishings are fun and functional. I especially like the toucan rocking chair. It is handy to have an onsite washer and dryer. We appreciated the available cleaning supplies and other supplies (light bulbs, batteries, etc.).The chairs in the lanai are comfortable and easy to swivel. The bedside clock is not functional and the surface is dirty and oily. The shower head works, but the direction of the flow randomly changes to straight down. The ceiling light-fan fixture worked sporadically. There were hoards of ants in the sink one morning. The lounge chair on the lanai is comfortable but looks old with peeling paint and faded fabric.

Great location, near the pool, the view was absolutely beautiful. Loved being able to walk out onto the grassy area and enjoy the sunrise. Cool ocean breeze made it very comfortable not needing ac. Communication and details for check in and checking out was great. Highly Recommend this property to family and friends. Thank you Martha for allowing us to enjoy your little piece of paradise. A well kept resort on one of the island’s best locations. Comfortable condo with a well equipped kitchen ( you need it here as restaurant choices are few and far between). Friendly neighbors. A couple of beach chairs available for renters would be a welcome addition.

This is a lovely 1 bedroom condo, well-supplied kitchen and beautiful views. The complex is very quiet and you won't hear any noise except the trade wind breeze after 9pm. The pool was nice and clean, the little black sand beach (we named it Pepper Beach) was really fun to look for washed up shells and coral and watch the crabs run up and down the sand. It is ab out 25-30 minutes from Kanakakai so you are off the beaten-path as far as being close to stores or restaurants, but I shopped at The Friendly Market Center and we were able to eat almost all of our meals at the condo. There are towels and be sure to look in cupboards and drawers before buying more stuff! I bought laundry detergent and then found a whole bottle in the cupboard. Same for cooking oil, coffee filters, sunscreen, shampoo...We ended up finding all of this there. Martha is a great host. We had so much fun and the whole trip was incredibly wonderful and memorable in all the best ways.

A very good stay! All our needs are well catered and the cando is very comfortable. The owners are considerate, friendly and helpful by sending us a lot of information, allowing our checking-in and out process very smooth. The cando has a very good location, which is either far away from downtown Kaunakakai or the scenic spots in the East. We also had a good time on the benches and lawns in front of the house, watching sunrise, looking at the islands and observing stars. An unforgettable experience. Will recommend to other friends if they visit Molokai.

We had a nice 2-night stay here. The condo shows better than the photos. It was very clean and well-appointed. It’s located a short walk across grass to the excellent pool and a beautiful view to Maui and Lana’i across the water. Communications and access were hassle free. Ground floor unit was a plus. Recommended!

This unit really worked out for me and my family, since we had such a short stay on the island. Martha provided all the necessary information prior to check-in and responded to my additional question in a timely manner. The unit itself was clean and had almost everything we needed. We particularly appreciated the 2 full beds in the unit as it was particularly hot and we were able to choose sleeping arrangements without significant compromise. Another nice touch was upon entering the unit for the first time fans were on as it was a very hot day. There was also a pitcher of water and chilled glasses in the fridge as well. We definitely appreciated that! Wifi in the unit didnt seem to work (even after power cycling), but it wasn't something that ruined the trip, and I didnt have the time to inquire with Martha about it during our stay. Overall we would definitely consider staying here again, and appreciate their generosity and hospitality. Thank you!

My family had a wonderful stay at this condo while exploring molokai. Condo is well kept and appears to have recently remodeled the kitchen. Very nice for cooking/ dining as well as being well stocked. Lanai is amazing, views of Maui and the ocean while sitting at the table. Ground floor was great for my kiddos that could run out straight onto the grass and play on the manicured grounds. We had no issues arise, but owner is easy to communicate with. Only reason for 4 stars would be beds not very comfortable ( we prefer firmer mattresses and both were soft, however that's just our personal preference), and linens/ towels could use replacing. Overall fantastic condo and island! Mahalo!

i will spare you the pics of the stained, torn mattress pad and sweat and mildew stained pillows. the liquid hand soap was dollar store at best and cut in half by water. after seeing the bedding i was affraid to walk on the dirty, stained carpet. a shame because the unit was well equipted and with the exception of two days of water cut off due to plumbimg issues; the grounds were lovely. i left two days early for a hotel. i expected what i usually count on from VRBO. i deserve a refund.

Beautiful clean condo, great property & ammenities

Martha's condo was very clean and had all the cooking pots and pans as well as dishes and other items like microwave, coffee maker and even a dishwasher. There were extra beach towels and sheets, so that was nice, and even a Lanai for relaxing outside. We stayed here for work and it was really cold, so we didn't take advantage of the pool, but it's a nice club house for hanging out, swimming and grilling. We will definitely stay here again for work if it's available next time.

The condo is located in a very nice area on the "lusher" side of the island. The owner provided prompt answers to my questions, both before the trip and while we were there. She also made suggestions about food and activities, which were helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
