ABOUT THE HOUSE
The 3,000-square-foot Bray Hill House was designed by the architectural firm Mirski and Associates. Patterned after the turn-of-the century New England shingle-style houses of the area on the exterior, the spacious and completely modern interior boasts an amazing array of custom features throughout, mid-century modern furniture and an eclectic assortment of artwork. The Bray Hill House was custom-built to take advantage of its spectacular mountain setting, with impressive views of three mountain ranges and the Mount Washington and Connecticut River Valleys, and overlooking the small town of Jefferson. Our home’s prime location in the heart of the White Mountains of northern New Hampshire gives our guests easy access to all of the region’s many activities and attractions.
STYLE NOTES
Country contemporary with a stylish vibe in a secluded and private location, this is a light, open, playful but functional home with sophisticated touches, like the unusual lilac-colored stair and balcony railings, floating staircase, and awesome double chimney fireplace. The stained glass elements in the home’s gable sparkle when the house is lit up at night. Bright accents throughout add pops of color to the home’s neutral palette. The home’s lower level is all about sociability with plenty of space for families, friends, kids and dogs to mix and mingle, cook and eat, while the upper level provides quiet spaces for sleeping, reading and quiet conversations. French doors, multiple windows and the spacious wraparound deck bring the gorgeous views right indoors.

Each room is outfitted with a queen size bed with luxury linens and pillows, two roomy dressers and large closets, along with all the essentials you need for a carefree stay: shampoo and conditioner, soaps, bath and hand towels, hair dryer, iron, ironing board and more. CHEF’S KITCHEN AND DINING

Absolutely incredible. Do not hesitate on this place, should you see it available - book it! The house is warm, inviting, clean and absolutely stunning. It fit our group perfectly and it was like Christmas morning watching the kids wake up and hustle down the stair with the biggest smile. Our third year in a row staying at the Bray Hill House for a summer week with three generations of our family. Once again this amazing property provided a memorable experience we will all cherish. You don’t have to make too many plans when staying here, just hanging out at the house is good for most days. So much to do, see and explore inside and out, in good weather and bad. Every year we come we enjoy it more and do end up finding new places to explore in the area, of which there are many if you enjoy the outdoors. Israel is a great host and we can’t wait to stay here again.

Bray Hill was great for our family of 4 plus our dog. Close in location to rivers, hikes, water parks, Littleton and North Conway. The views off the back deck were unmatched.
We began our stay as heavy rain fell from the passing hurricane. The local community came together at an instant to help with repairing roads that disnt impact our stay, really impressive community.
We will definitely look to stay here again, everyone in our family had a great time. The house has great ammenities and things that make it unique.

Truly a spectacular spot to spend time with family-even better than I imagined it would be! The location-the property-the home - all absolutely amazing! So much to do between outdoor and indoor fun - not to mention the amazing view - we didn't need to leave! Except maybe to visit the very convenient market for more provisions since we just wanted to enjoy the kitchen and the many amenities the home offered. We can't wait to go back - no matter the season!

This house is incredibly unique and impeccable. We very much enjoyed our time here and wish we were there longer views. Views are out of this world, the kitchen is the best stocked kitchen of any rental we’ve ever had. The game room and bar were a nice touch and fun for all. We will be back for sure!

Our stay in Jefferson was excellent, everything just as the listing describes and more. We had six adults, two kids, and two dogs. Everyone loved it. Great basecamp for Bretton Woods with some hiking and sledding available on the property. Communication with the host was easy and they responded quickly. We would certainly come again!

What an amazing property, and fantastic location. One of the best properties we’ve stayed at. The house has everything you could possibly need for staying with children, or cooking a Thanksgiving meal away from home like we did. Israel even had a beautiful tablecloth and napkins set aside for us. Well maintained trails around the property were clearly marked and a great way to explore with the kids. The property was easy to access, great communication, and when we couldn’t figure something out (user error!) Israel was very responsive and came and helped us. I cannot recommend this property highly enough.

This is our second straight year staying at the Bray Hill House and it exceeded expectations once again. The setting takes your breath away even when you know it’s going to and Israel takes great care to ensure everything is prepared and perfect for you and your stay. It’s the little things -and there are many of them - about this house and the accommodations that are very much appreciated make our time there unforgettable for both adults and kids. This remains a true five-star property that we look forward to coming back to once again!

We spent a week at Bray Hill House just staring at the majestic views and sipping coffee. We were lucky enough to catch a big storm sweeping in from the mountains complete with hail, and we even saw a bear on the first day of the trip! The house was perfect for everyone in our family - we had a 6 year old, 12 year old, two 40-somethings and my mom who is 68, and all of us loved the house for different reasons. I would absolutely recommend staying here - I can’t wait to come back in the fall or winter to see the mountains again!

We love this home. It is easy to see that it was built with love. The craftsmanship is impressive. The house is maintained with that same care. Everything you need without the clutter!! (And I do not like clutter.) The views need to be seen to believe. Israel is a friendly and thorough host. He even came on Easter to help us with our impressive lack of TV tech. (Embarrassing) We can't wait to come back.

The pictures could never do justice to this gorgeous property. Everything you could possibly need is available for you and was very well thought out. The kitchen was a dream to work in. Even though it was in the 60’s in November we still used the gorgeous fireplace once because we couldn’t let the opportunity go to waste. We plan to return ever year!

The host, Israel, couldn’t have been more accommodating, and the property is perfectly appointed and fully stocked with everything we needed and more. The on-site trails and outdoor spaces were perfect for us since we had our dog who loves exploring in the woods. The inside of the house is spacious and comfortable with great views from every room, and the extras like the sauna and gourmet kitchen really elevated our vacation. We’d love to stay here again!

There’s no other way to say it: This is one of our family’s favorite places we’ve ever stayed. The setting is truly remarkable and the house is magnificent with so much character and so many features and spots to enjoy inside and out. Israel truly takes great care in managing this property, as the attention to detail is evident everywhere you turn. He also takes a personal interest in the experience of his guests, which is always appreciated and was evident in the multiple ways he went above and beyond for our family, right down to personally delivering s’mores ingredients that my kids loved. We can’t wait to come back to Bray Hill House and can’t recommend it enough!

Upon arrival, we knew this property was going to become one of our favorite. Words cannot do justice to fully describe the beauty inside and out. My husband and I are always on the go, but we found ourselves sitting on the back deck, mesmerized by the home’s surround.
The home was lovely and was beyond equipped to meet all our needs. A great deal of thought must have gone into making guests feel welcome.
The proximity to all of the wonderful adventures in this area was ideal, and having this grand home and it’s mountainous backdrop to return to each evening was something we looked forward to throughout our stay. The sunrise over the top of the range was spectacular.
We truly enjoyed everything about this home and hope to return soon.

Peaceful Getaway
We loved our monthlong stay at Bray Hill House and Israel was a gracious host. Beautiful view of the Presidential Range. Waking up to birdsong instead of traffic sounds. An amazing, fully equipped home with walls of windows to bring the outdoors in. We both worked part of the time and the WiFi was very reliable for online video meetings. We hiked to waterfalls, took the Cog Railway to the top of Mt Washington and the tram to the top of Cannon Mountain, and rode our bikes along the Franconia Trail and by Pondicherry Nature Preserve. We even got in a couple rounds of golf! Plenty to do in the area, and we equally loved spending quiet time at the house. Definitely a special place!

I can’t say enough good things about this property. The views are spectacular, the house was clean and cozy with an attention to detail that grew in appreciation as the week wore on.
