Located in north Phoenix this beautifully appointed 2 bedroom/1 bath casita is 12 minutes from downtown Phoenix and the airport in a vibrant community that boast a wide variety of locally owned businesses, restaurants and coffee shops.
It is a five minute walk to the Phoenix Mountain Preserve with beautiful hiking trails. Or just relax in the retreat-like backyard that features pool, spa, and multiple sitting areas.
The casita has its own small private outside space as well as the shared oasis backyard.
Equipped kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, coffee/tea maker, and ice maker.
There is no-smoking inside the Casita, but plenty of spaces outside. Any parties or events for more than 8 people must be pre-approved. No lifeguard on duty. Use of the pool and spa is at your own risk. STR Registration Certificate #2020-175. Permit # STR-2024-002932

we were very impressed with our stay. We felt very welcomed and the accommodations were excellent. we would return in a heart beat to this property. They even picked up subs we had ordered for us as they were near the sub shop. Charles and Fito were excellent hosts!

The property was centrally located for the activities we had planned for the long weekend of spring training baseball. We took advantage of the pool and hot tub at the end of the day and appreciated the seclusion provided by the owners. We will stay here again!

Warm, comfortable and incredibly well equipped with access to a magnificent outdoor space. Welcoming, responsive hosts. Very accessible to freeways as well as fun neighborhood restaurants. Easy access to grocery stores. I WILL return!

A great place to stay. Always a bit leery when you see such beautiful pictures on Vrbo, and wonder if they measure up and in this case it i did and all that and more!
The indoors is beautifully and tastefully decorated. The outdoors/pool absolutely gorgeous. The beds were comfortable. The extra goodies, a special touch.
We used the hot tub regularly and they were very accommodating. The host are wonderful.
There is a very busy street on the backside of the property but they have done an excellent job in using the waterfalls in the pool to mask the noise. It absolutely was not a problem at all.
If we come back to Phoenix, we will book it again!

What a beautiful property with lovely owners. Gorgeous outdoor space. Cute, cozy, clean, indoor space. The whole place is so thoughtfully put together. My friends and I had the best time (girls weekend) and we want to go back!!

The casita was awesome! Super clean and a truly wonderful little place. Charles and Fito were so nice and made our check in and out a breeze! We will definitely be staying here again during our next visit to Phoenix.

This 2 bedroom casita was as great as advertised. The pool, waterfall, hot tub and plenty of room to lounge around. A huge grill for those who love to bbq. This casita is a must if you're coming to Phoenix. Your hosts Charles and Fito are the best!

Charles and Fito were great hosts and were very accommodating. We really enjoyed the 8 nights we stayed at Casita Serena. It is an excellent choice for a home away from home. The pool area is like an Oasis and the Casita Serena is cozy.
It has everything one would need for a get-away. It is located in a cul-de-sac within a nice community--the area made us feel safe as well.
Restaurants and the mountains are very close to the property. We highly recommend Casita Serena.

Casita Serena is a serene, peaceful and calming guesthouse. The beautifully decorated home has comfy beds, a cozy gas fireplace, luxurious towels/robes, delicious snacks and teas to welcome you, and the views are gorgeous! There is a pool/spa view from one bedroom and the living room, and a pretty patio view from the other bedroom. We loved relaxing in the hot tub, listening to the sounds of the waterfalls and the windchimes. Charles and Fito are wonderful hosts and they have a little slice of heaven in Phoenix!

The Casita was fabulous! we all enjoyed the pool area although the weather was cooler than normal we really enjoyed the hot tub, indoors there was everything we needed and more. The area is ideally suited for exploring the area around Phoenix and we hope to return in the future. Charles and Fito were friendly and helpful hosts who couln't do enough for us.We would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

We arrived at the house and a cottage therewith connected. The cottage a nice two bedroom was our home for the week. Very clean and we had access to the outdoor grill, pool, Jacuzzi and sitting areas. Although Charles and Fito were not present for much of our stay their company was always welcome when the were. We had an enjoyable vacation and the cottage had much to do with that.

We spent an incredibly relaxing few days in Charles and Fito's casita. The space is even better than the photos, the beds are incredibly comfortable, the rain shower is luxurious, and we thoroughly enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor space. They have thought of everything from the welcome snacks to the ice maker. One of our favorite VRBOs! Thank you!

Casita Serena was the perfect place to stay during our visit with son who lives in Phoenix. The photos were exactly as shown. It is beautiful and serene. There are many attention to details throughout the casita and the surrounding pool area. The location is ideal. The Casita was extremely clean and delightful. We loved absolutely everything about Casita Serena. All the little touches were excellent. The spa was amazing before and after our half marathon race weekend. Beds were so comfortable and the space was just beautiful. Would absolutely come again!

Sometimes the photos in listings are misleading, but in this case the reality is even better than the photos. Lovely casita with everything you might need for your stay including shampoo/conditioner, coffee/tea, towels, welcome snacks and bottled water. Comfortable beds and quiet, serene location. The hosts are gracious and welcoming. We hope to stay again on our next visit!

We couldn't have asked for more. Perfect location. Just a few blocks form family. The Casita was extremely private, cozy and wow what a beautiful set up. Every little detail was amazing. The host was charming and helpful. We will definitely look to stay again when we head to Phoenix.

Second time here, both times for a girls visit, 7 days. Beautiful updates since last visit. Clean and Charming space with wonderful art to enjoy. Love that we can choose sun or shade with various seating options. Portable ice maker was great, used stainless mugs to preserve the ice in. Bar b queued two nights. Plush towels, 4 bathrobes provided. Various sundries provided in bathroom, body lotion, shower gel, shampoo/conditioner. We left some 30 sunscreen behind. Don’t doubt that we will be back again, thanks guys!!

The property is beautiful, and has a beautiful pool area, and a fabulous bathroom. We did wish there were plugs for cell charging in the rear bedroom on the one night table, that the a/c was a little stronger in the rear bedroom, that there was a luggage rack (we used one closet shelf for our first carry-on but didn't want to put our second carry-on on the bureau with mirror and so we used the floor), and that the shower and tap water were not set at so dangerously (to us) a hot level, that there was an induction friendly fry pan to use on the portable induction stove top (we used the microwave alternative for our brown and serve sausages), table knives were sharper, and that the neighbor's huge pickup wasn't always parked in front of the Casita so our on-street parking/unpacking had to be one or two neighboring houses away. The wifi user name on the Expedia introductory emails was not the same one as came up when at the residence; Casita2, not CasitaGuest but we figured it out. We loved the Casita furnishings, wifi, bathroom and lotions, private and public outside eating areas, pool and pool floats and night lighting, and the fancy snacks that were available in the kitchenette. Charles came out while we were sitting poolside at breakfast the first morning to introduce himself. He provided an excellent suggestion for a local dinner restaurant; PV Pie and Wine. If in Phoenix again, we would definitely stay at Casita Serena. It is easily a vacation destination on its own

Phoenix Oasis
My husband and I visited for a long weekend and absolutely loved this place! The hosts were very welcoming and it is obvious that a lot of love and care went into every detail of this place. The pool was incredible and the casita was comfortable and very well-appointed. Highly recommend!

My wife and I loved Casita Serena! It was perfect for us, exactly what we were looking for. The casita was ready for us on time and super clean! The casita had everything we needed for a three night stay.
There are two Queen beds to choose from, firm and plush. Plenty of towels in the bathroom with lots of amenities, soap, toothpaste shampoo etc. if you forget something. They even supply robes to wear.
There is a kitchenette with a small refrigerator, no freezer but has a counter top ice maker for drinks. Microwave, hot plate, toaster, coffee maker. Outside Bar-B-Que.
The best part was the backyard. It has a sparkling clean dark blue tiled pool and spa with water features you can control with a supplied IPAD. No need to bother the owners to turn on/off the spa. There are lots of places to relax in the back yard, chairs, lounges, patio tables. We enjoyed eating our meals outside on the patio.
The owners, Charles and Fito, are super nice people who made sure we had everything we needed and answered any questions we had about the property.
Our stay was great! Relaxing by the beautiful pool, enjoying the peaceful sounds of the water features, using the spa at night was wonderful. The backyard has privacy from the neighboring homes. Great for a romantic couples getaway.
We highly recommend Casita Serena. We would definitely go back to this wonderful property.

Perfect getaway!
We loved the very private pool & spa at Charles & Fito’s Casita Serena. It was a relaxing, rejuvenating few days we spent together, enjoying the beautiful casita and artwork, the private patio areas, their wonderful hospitality and, of course, under the stars at night in the hot tub! We felt very pampered, as every last detail was well thought out & provided!
