Beautifully furnished and interior updated in 2020, the Northwest Passages Suite is a luxurious getaway in the heart of Friday Harbor. This unit is on the second level of a beautiful downtown building with stair access only. Enjoy the ambiance of the propane stove or watch the ferry and boating traffic from your balcony while grilling your local catch on the outdoor BBQ.
The suite has a fully equipped kitchen beautifully detailed with granite counter tops and stainless appliances. Enjoy a meal at the breakfast bar built for two or gather around the beautiful dining table with seating for 4. This suite is equipped with a standard, drip-style coffee maker. The living space offers a DVD player, HDTV, satellite TV, and a view of the Friday Harbor Ferry Dock. This one (1) bedroom suite is furnished with a King size bed and opens to a full bath complete with a Jacuzzi tub and walk-in fully tiled shower for rest and relaxation! The entryway of the Northwest Passage Suite is equipped with an additional 3/4 bathroom (with walk-in shower) and access to the stackable washer and dryer.
The second bed in this suite is an Aerobed.
The block surrounding the San Juan Suites offers many delicious restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, ice-cream shops and art galleries, all within walking distance. On Saturday mornings the local San Juan Island Farmer's Market is a 1-minute walk from the San Juan Suites!

One could not possibly be more in the heart of downtown Friday Harbor. Great location, with nice views. Less than a short block away from the main supermarket.
Over the years we have stayed in different areas of FH and this is the best.
The unit was clean, spacious and with all what we needed.
Communication with the host was easy and they were very accommodating.
We greatly enjoyed our stay as a result!

Loved being in a busy section of Friday Harbor with ferries coming and going.
I dont understand people who complain about the noise from the street. It is common sense that ferry terminals and water front locations are busy and loud. Personally I found it exciting and fun.

This is probably the best location in Friday Harbor. The balcony overlooks the harbor, the room is clean and very large. Comfortable for a Famiky of three. Tina’s Tacos has fantastic breakfast and lunch, downstairs is Jima a new sushi/Japanese restaurant that is delicious and tons of shopping in the immediate area. We parked the vehicle and did not use it our first two days. The instructions were spot on. This is the unit to rent in Friday Harbor. Thanks

My son and his partner stayed here for a few days. They had extensive need for internet meetings etc. Loved the view and the excellent comfort — also no problem with internet (which can be a big problem on the island)

Very nice property in downtown Friday Harbor. Walking distance to businesses and restaurants in the area. We happened to visit the island during a rainy time which kept us in for some of our time there, and we were happy to relax by a window and enjoy the view of the water. A very enjoyable stay.

Great room with all the amenities in the middle of town, easy walk to the Ferry, food and entertainment. Has a great view of the Harbor and beyond, we took a charter which also was an easy walk from the suite. It is next to the ferry which didn’t bother us.

The Northwest Passages suite in Friday Harbor is a fantastic stay and what a view! We enjoyed watching the ferry come and go, the seaplanes land and general maritime view. The suite itself was very accommodating with kitchen, living room and king size bedroom. Since the suite was located in town, we didn't cook much but enjoyed the coffee maker and toaster. Loved the comfy leather couches with a seaside view. The bedroom is roomy with a king size bed and en suite bath. We LOVED having two bathrooms! The bed is too stiff for our taste and could be benefited from either a new mattress or maybe a plush topper, but again just our preference. Overall, this suite is definitely worth the money and would love to stay here again. The location cannot be beat!!

Fairly easy to enter and leave, once we received the information in a form we could read. Because we were several days traveling without internet, it was diffcult to retrieve the information. However we reached a live person, who talked us through, which was great. The amenities were good, especially those for bathing/sleeping. We never figured out the TV but for us that was not a loss. The kitchen was moderately supplied, but better than most - sufficient plates, cups, glasses, and silverware. We enjoyed watching the ferry crowd gather (which we eventually joined). Location was terrific. Close to everything downtown.

This unit was perfectly located for us, and it was clean, cute and cozy. We could watch the ferries arrive so we knew when to go down there rather than waiting at the ferry wait area. There was zero noise from the coffee shop below us. I would suggest ear plugs because the cars/trucks lining up for the ferry can be noisy, and they start early.

This is a really spacious rental that was well equipped to cook meals and relax. The fireplace was easy to use and the view of the harbor was fantastic. We really appreciated that they allowed us to reschedule our visit when our flights were canceled in December. The management staff was very responsive, and clearly explained how to access the rental, parking lot, etc. The location of this rental was great if you want to be able to walk to all of the restaurants, stores and tours in Friday Harbor. The proximity to the ferry dock is very convenient, but it may not be a good fit for those that want to sleep in.

The Northwest Passages suite was an excellent rental for me and my family. Plenty of space for us to move around in the unit. Amenities were top notch. The jetted bathtub was a hit for my kids. The location was ideal as it was in the center of the town, so everything was within walking distance. The reserved parking was great. But best part was the view of the Puget Sound, especially seeing all the ferries come and go!

This unit is perfect ! Well kept..we loved there was cable not just the apps...for down time inside whichvwasnt much
.So many restraunts & coffee shops near by!!! As to the noice downstairs some talk about, really not much at all😀There was more from the ferry ppl waiting.. lol but still no biggie..we L❤️ved having our own parking spot & just walk all over town. Do make resorvations for Downriggers & vinneys.. we did & very glad we did...definitely L❤️V to come back in summer.🌞☀️

The Northwest Passage was a fabulous suite. The view of the ferries and marina, was beautiful. It is walking distance to all Friday Harbors businesses, grocery stores, restaurants, and shops. There was a working crew blocking our assigned parking, and the management group immediately took care of it. I would absolutely stay there again, and highly recommend it to my family and friends.

The apartment was clean and fully equipped. Great location for dining and shopping options. It had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. The master bath is a part of the bedroom. But there is a door to that area of the apartment and the second full bath makes it possible for other people to also stay in unit.

We couldn’t have asked for a better location or a more well appointed, spacious home away from home for our week in Friday Harbor! Beautiful views, close proximity to shops, groceries, whale watching tours, cafés & restaurants—everything we needed or wanted to make the most of our vacation. And when we wanted to stay in or sleep late, the place was quiet & comfortable with the windows closed, AC on. We were never disturbed by ferry or traffic noises. Highly recommended!

Great location, very nice unit!
Great location, easy check in process. The unit was very comfortable and we enjoyed staying there. Check out is 10 AM check in is 4 PM, I think you should be able to get in at 2 PM.

Quick getaway
We had 4 guests, a couple and individuals. The bedroom is great. The others slept in Living Room. That’s what we expected and it was fine. Clean, easy and great location

The best in Friday Harbor
Wow, the condo is located in the heart of Friday Harbor and next to the ferry dock. We didn’t need our car in town. Loved the view of the bay and watching the ferries and boats coming and going. The kitchen was stocked with dishes and cookware so it made making a meal convenient. Kings grocery store is a 1/2 block away and had everything you could possibly want. The second full bathroom was nice for couples or family needing the extra privacy. Highly recommend this unit or the other couple units in the building.

San Juan Suites are a great location with a view of the water and walking distance to everything. The condo is very nice. The two bathrooms and a balcony are a plus. The only downside was the bed wasn't super comfy and the jet tub could use a thorough cleaning. A very nice stay overall
