This cozy and comfortable unit is one of two units located in a private home in a residential area on the Atlantic Ocean at Fernandina Beach, Amelia Island, Florida. These two units, on the first floor of this home, provide a quiet, restful atmosphere far from the noise and activity of hotel or condo vacations.

The owners occupy the second floor, are available for any assistance, but are completely unobtrusive. The second unit in this home is a two bedroom and can be viewed at VRBO 221163. Rented together, eight guests can be accommodated. Please e-mail or call if interested in both units.

Each unit has its own private entrance, exits, grill, covered porches and decks.

This is a no smoking facility both inside and outside.

Located in a quiet residential area, this one bedroom, two bath unit provides a quiet and relaxing getaway to a beach that is never crowded. This unit was completely remodeled and features new appliances, furniture and jetted tub in the master bath.

The second bath is equipped with a roomy shower', Sliding glass doors from the living room open to the covered outdoor dining / sitting area. The attached sunning deck leads to the protective walkover to the beach.

I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing time at the beach. The beach is just steps away with no crowds whatsoever during our stay. The property is clean and well maintained and is well stocked with items you will need such as umbrellas, boogie boards, towels, etc.

Me and the wife were really impressed by the whole experience of this rental. Description of the rental on VRBO was very accurate. Nice private clean apartment with private access to the ocean. I read the reviews before we booked and everything is true. We didn't bring any beach gear with us including towels. Everything was provided including a new umbrella and beach chairs. Plenty of beach towels too. We have already booked this spot for next year. Thank you Brenda, it could not have been any easier.

My daughter and I had an amazing time & absolutely adored the accommodations!! Exactly (if not better) as described. Right on the beach, with natural grounds. We didn’t eat in much, as the location is centrally located around many great restaurants! Can’t wait to come back!!

We have stayed in a variety of places at Fernandina/Amelia from hotels, condos, bed and breakfasts, but this was by far the best beach experience that we have ever had. The description of the property and what we should expect was spot on...towels, beach umbrellas, chairs, washer/dryer, FULLY equipped kitchen, and 2 bathrooms (even for 2 people this was super nice). The large porch/deck was great for morning and evening relaxation, and direct walkway to the basically private beach was super convenient. We look forward to staying with Brenda and Jim again soon!

We have stayed here the last two years and will return. Brenda and Jim are great hosts. The property is on an uncrowded section of the beach . The house is an old Florida home with a wonderful outdoor space. Everything you need is provided including beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach towels and even a cooler.

Nice location and dog friendly beach. My kind of beach which had lots of privacy. The owner Jim was pleasant and check in was very easy. His wife Brenda gave very good written communication and answered all my questions before arriving. I enjoyed the deck area with my service dog, Coco watching sunsets and rises. There was ample kitchen and bathroom supplies. Lots of movies to watch with a television in the living room and one in the bedroom. The jacuzzi tub was nice. Cute rental with some nice artistic paintings and decorated in a beach style. I would recommend a new mattress and repairing the walk way to the beach. I got a wood splinter in my finger that cut me. There was a first aide kit that was helpful. Also, some comfortable beach chairs would have been nice. There was quite a bit of noise a few mornings and afternoons due to some house repairs but I understand that these things happen. I am sure this doesn’t happen often. I do recommend this house rental and plan on returning. I felt safe having the owners and their son upstairs. Overall, pleasant experience and the owners are nice people who take pride in the care of their home and yard.

We really enjoyed our stay. The villa was very clean and great for 2 people. The view was beautiful, and we enjoyed sitting on the back porch. It was an excellent location. Close to Fernandina Beach downtown with plenty of shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay again!

We had a great visit to Amelia Island and this was a great place for my wife, myself and our poodle. Location is very close to a great local restaurant/bar, with a very easy short walk down the beach. The single bedroom was roomy and we loved having two bathrooms, full kitchen, gas grill, etc. Nothing fancy, but it was a great place to spend a week. The owner was very communicative with check-in, directions to the property and even had a nice binder put together with lists of local dog-friendly businesses and things to do.

My husband and I enjoyed a week-long stay at this cozy apartment that included everything we needed for a relaxed getaway. The location on Fletcher Avenue provides quick access to the downtown area. It was easy to prepare meals; they provided a drip coffee pot and a Keurig. It was clean and very comfortable. We loved the proximity to the beach; at the end of a long walk with our dog, we were happy to see the white flag flying at the beach steps; it helped us find our way back. The owner has compiled a very informative notebook that lists local restaurants that are pet-friendly, grocery stores, and information about the island and local wildlife. I saw rabbits hopping through the dunes but not the land turtles. Contact information for the owner is also listed if you need assistance.

The property was wonderful, very clean and beautifully decorated. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Even special little touches like lavender bath salts. We loved the walkway to the beach so our dog could run and play in the surf and sand. Great location.

I loved this cute and convenient little bungalow. I loved having 2 bathrooms in a 1 bedroom. It was comfortable and suited our needs perfectly. The light above the sink did not work which made the kitchen area a bit dark but other than that, it was perfect for us.

We absolutely loved our stay here! We were so grateful to have a dog friendly beach right out the back door. The unit was incredibly clean and well stocked for exactly what we needed. We brought all our food to just have a weekend in, and we had plenty of space and amenities. The only thing I wish was different was if there was a King bed instead of a queen, but that will absolutely not stop us from returning to this perfect little spot!

This is our 2nd stay at Jim and Brenda's place. My daughter and I stayed in the one bedroom unit three years ago and loved it so much that we brought more family members and rented the two bedroom unit also. You couldn't ask for a better beach vacation home. It is spotless and has everything you could possibly need. Brenda is an amazing artist and has her paintings throughout both units. Outdoor areas are amazing! Would definitely stay again.

This is the second time we have stayed at this location. We love it. Everything is super clean. We feel like we are well situated on the island. Our pup feels comfortable. The house also has all the items you need for a beach stay. Plenty you do not need to bring with you to have a great time. We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay at your lovely condo. The entry way was unique and welcoming, the personalized sign removed all doubt to our being at right door! The instructions on where to park were very helpful, especially after a long drive. The layout of the condo was perfect as well as immaculately clean, the bedroom was very cozy. The kitchen was well stocked and spotless. It was very convenient having a washer/dryer in the bathroom, and the bathrooms had a generous amount of clean, high-quality towels. I really enjoyed having large screen tvs in the bedroom and den. Most of all, I loved the back deck and the beautiful view of the well-landscaped property. The deck furniture was well placed, clean and comfortable, we sat out there for hours with our dog Lovie and just enjoyed the gorgeous landscape. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your slice of paradise, and being such welcoming and friendly hosts. I look forward to seeing you again!
